Very disappointing experience - not the professional diagnostic promised…read more I booked my car in with VolcanMotors for what was clearly advertised and verbally confirmed as a professional and detailed diagnostic. When I made the booking, the owner assured me they would carry out proper due diligence and identify the root cause of the issue. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that expectation. After a few hours, I was told the "diagnostic" had been done using a diagnostic machine only, with no meaningful additional investigation. There was no visual inspection, no deeper fault-finding, and no attempt to properly validate the issue. They simply repeated the same fault code information I was already aware of. Based on this very superficial check, they quickly recommended a major and expensive repair -- without demonstrating any thorough analysis to justify it. When I asked reasonable questions to understand their process and reasoning, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude rather than a professional explanation. What's most disappointing is not just the lack of diagnosis, but the lack of honesty and professionalism. If the garage does not have the expertise, time, or willingness to properly diagnose a vehicle, it would be far more professional to say so upfront rather than provide a costly recommendation based on a basic scan. I trusted them to treat both the job and me as a customer with professionalism and respect. Instead, I received neither. I would not return to this garage and would not trust their diagnostic conclusions.

The worst experience you can have,…read morefirst of all I will be offered a quote, which then changed a few days, would be a gear box repair for 2800 pounds, after a few days they call me saying I should change the clutch and actuator and everything would go away. leave for more than 4000 pounds, not to mention that the expectation was 2 weeks to solve my problem, "solved" in 5 weeks paying a total with VAT of more than 6000 pounds (price of a used car), creating an unreasonable stress on me and my family, to the point of my wife crying asking them to return the car, 0 empathy on their part. at the end they return the car to me still with problems, that is, they haven't solved anything in 5 weeks, I call and they tell me that I should drive the car for a few days so that the system can "learn", well this system they said didn't learn anything , I contacted the garage directly, in January and they didn't know what it could be, they did and redone the programming in the gearbox and told me to "TRY", anyway for a few days it was ok, then the problem returns, I return at the end of March and they keep my car for another 4 days, until I find out that they put the wrong clutch in my car, I drove for 3 months after making the payment on a car that they never fixed, and they made me waste time and money, but today, exactly after several months and having driven only 6000 miles after payment the car has the same symptoms as when I send the car to the garage, and I still have to hear from the mechanic mockery and a total lack of interest in fulfilling the basics that deliver my car in a decent way and fixed, my advice, avoid service4service, any problem they have they will have no interest in solving, and more will tell you something different from what you will pay. It's only a few months away and my warranty is almost over, and they haven't finished a job that is almost completing a year, and they still have the courage to check if I'm still under warranty, when they never gave me the car repaired, until the The mechanic himself recognizes that the amount they charged me goes beyond normal, they will deceive you too.
