Chauncey did a great job in explaining the terms and conditions for the removal and explained, in detail, the pricing policy. Payment was simple. The actual removal of the furniture (covertible couch and love seat) was quick and easy with care given to our property and the items being removed. I hired them to get rid of two bedrooms as they got wet/soaked due to pipe burst in upstairs condo, and I was in the hospital at the time so I spoke with a Jason told him I needed to get rid of two bedrooms of furniture and that was it, however they took out ALL of my furniture and threw it out, they also DO NOT BELONG TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! I had tried to schedule appointments with other junk removal companies, who were about to charge me $200 extra because my building's elevator cannot be used to move furniture and I'm on the 6th floor. After my appointment with another company fell through due to this issue, I was able to schedule a same-day couch removal with no extra charge with 1800 Got Junk. The guys were super fast, friendly, and on time. I might not use the company if I had a lot of stuff to remove, as the price goes up substantially if you take up half of the truck's space. read more

UPDATE: Ultimately, everything worked out well, so I increased them from one star to four. Second time I've used their service because everyone deserves a second chance. The first experience, they were 2 hours and 10 minutes late. But the guys were really nice so... Second experience: Booked for 2/14 5:30-7:30pm. At 7:45, we called to ask how much longer. The answer was that we were scheduled for 2/15 evening. No, I had the confirmation email, it was 2/14. After being on hold for a long time, Richard came back and said that there was trouble with the truck so they'd come on 2/15, first thing. At 8:15am on 2/15, I got a call to confirm 10:30am-12:30pm time frame. What happened to first thing? The driver said that he doesn't know, his route shows us at 10:30-12:30. At least, they came at 11:15am and it is done. The guys, again, were very nice. I give a 10 to the actual people who come out. Otherwise, the service gets a 1. The stuff is gone but without regard to courtesy for the customer's time and it was too stressful! read more
