After the dumpster was picked up I was charged an additional $207 due to exceeding the 1 ton limit by 1.6 tons. 2.6 tons for a bathroom remodel and some yard brush? A toilet, vanity, sink, some old tile, plywood, carpet and small yard brush is 5000 lbs??? I have no way to know. The 10 yard dumpster wasn't even full when it was picked up. Both the delivery and pick up were 5 stars as both drivers were punctual and professional. I've used other dumpster services before and have never been hit up with additional weight issues. I will go back to the other services for future needs.

However, we ended up filling up the 25cy dumpster with insulation, so we were forced to have that dumpster picked up and then we had to rent another 15cy. At a cost of $450, the first dumpster included up to 2 tons, but we only filled it with insulation so it was incredibly light and well below the 2 ton limit. I reached out to kindly request a credit for the leftover weight toward the 15cy dumpster I was forced to rent because the initial suggestion of a 25cy was not sufficient. In addition, I have to admit it was a bit frustrating trying to get the dumpster picked up. I called to get a dumpster picked up the next day because my contractor needed to install a window that was above the location of the dumpster. The dumpster was not picked up and it pushed his work back a day because the contractor could not install the window. I reached out to Fred and asked for a 'good will gesture' in the form of: * not being charged for the extra day that it took for Dainty Rubbish to pick up the second dumpster due to an organizational error, and * not being charged for the tonnage of the second dumpster rental as I ordered the original dumpster based on the professional suggestion of members of Dainty Rubbish. Neither request was honored and he ended up 'ghosting' my emails. I'd suggest you choose another company.
