There was a great ad stating that first item cost would be $89. A great promo. I immediately scheduled for a pick up of a sofa. The date I picked was several weeks out due to conflicts related to surgery. Today a rep called to confirm our pickup. I asked to confirm the price and was told.... oh no, that promo wouldn't cover a sofa, and oh no the date for the scheduled pickup is one day after the promotion expired. Totally dishonest. Sorry but this is kind of long. I scheduled a pickup for a couch and some small items between 4 and 6. The day came, i left work early and was home by 3:20. There was a message that was left at ~2:30 saying that they were on their way so it was clear that they had come and gone already. I called the main number and that (very nice) person talked to the driver and I was told that I would get a call within 10min. Well, 2hrs later (still in the appointment range) I got a call (again very nice) that they were on their way to Green Valley but they could swing around after that, around 8 or they could come by the next day. I called 1800-GotJunk the same day they d the move and not only did they keep their word, but the prices were comparable to Get Dimension. The ONLY reason why I did not choose them first was because get dimensions had there prices listed. 1800-Got-Junk is by fill, but honestly - it's the same price if not better. I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK Tucson and was offered same-day pick-up for a King Box Spring, but chose the next morning instead so I'd have time to see if we had any other items for pick up. The customer service person on the phone was very helpful, professional and informative. Immediately after our phone conversation, I received an email confirmation for the scheduled pick-up time of between 8am and 10am. Everything happened as planned the next morning: I received a phone call from crew member Jake 30 minutes prior to the appointment time and he stated they'd be here in 15 minutes - he and driver Jimmy actually arrived before 8am. Both Jake and Jimmy were courteous, organized and efficient and the entire transaction took less that 15 minutes, PLUS the price was way under any quotes I received from their competitors, but they will price match in any case. Got an estimate to remove a tool shed that I've been wanting to get rid of because of the possibility that a critter may be living under the wood base for $1100. They came, removed the top and then told me that they can't remove the floor because they heard something under the base floor and that I will need to call pest control, get a written note that the issue has been resolved before they can remove the floor.. get this.. for another charge because it will be a separate trip.. No s@&$ Sherlock. You came, gave me an estimate of what I told you, then come and be surprised of the existing issue, not finish the job, then still charge me the full price after agreeing that the floor will be removed??
