No explanation, no alternatives, no basic courtesy. Being locked out is already stressful. The least you expect is a professional response, even if the provider isn't available. A simple "we're closed" or a referral to another service would have been the bare minimum. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional.
