Very disappointed with this company from start to finish. The initial stump grinding job was done poorly and had to be redone. When they came back to regrind it, I paid an additional $250 for them to grind another stump and apply kill spray to a smaller stump since they already had the equipment on site. They ground the additional stump but never applied the kill spray and left without saying anything. I had to follow up myself to ask whether it was even done. I was first told they would come back in a few days, then later they personally told me they would return on the follow week. They never showed up or said anything. On top of that, the owner was unprofessional to deal with throughout the process, which only added to the frustration. When I asked for proper photos of the stump grinding, the owner became hostile and unprofessional, called me cursing, and repeatedly demanded immediate payment, claiming he would "bounce payroll" if I didn't pay right away. Instead of providing proof of completed work, I was sent a photo of a stump grinder and later a blurry photo taken from far away showing a pile of mulch, not the actual stump gone. Between the poor quality of the original work, missed commitments, and unprofessional communication, this was a frustrating experience. Basically told to pound sand , since he already got his money. Unethically company. If you hire Chris don't pay him until job is done. read more

1 tree expert signed a contract with me to remove oak tree and grind the stump. They removed the tree and promised to come back and grind the stump . They never came back and don't answer the phone . Chris and the crew did not honor the contract. Be careful when using 1 tree expert !! read more

Last month 1 Tree Experts completely removed 2 large oak trees and 1 pepper tree from my property. We also had 2 more oak trees trimmed plus a potter stump removed. Very happy with how the whole job turned out. They have a well organized team of guys with all the heavy duty equipment needed to tackle such a job. They patiently and methodically cut the trees into small manageable sections from the top down. Large limbs were roped, cut and slowly guided down to avoid swinging and any potential damage to the house. The stump grinder did a phenomenal job flattening and removing all root evidence at the base. All debris were neatly piled up front by the road and picked up and hauled away the next day by a truck with a mechanical loading arm. Highly recommended. read more

We had it in our contract to leave the larger pieces of trees to use as fire wood. They loaded it all up and took it away and told my wife they could go to the county dump and get it back. They left debris on the roof and did not clean up from grinding the stumps. I have debris that hit my house and was just left. One tree they cut mostly down and said they would finish it later and never did. read more

Great company to deal with from start to finish. We tried calling quite a few companies. Many never returned calls and others showed up with a little car and a ladder, telling me they could handle taking down a huge tree. Not 1 Tree Expert LLC. They were great during the entire process. Promptly returned calls and courteous on the phone. We had a large live oak that was overrun with mistletoe. They took extra time on the phone with me to explain the invasiveness of the plant, what it can do to the tree, and explain options of trying to clean out the mistletoe or instead, remove the tree entirely. They have a Certified Arborist on staff, so it was reassuring they weren't just guessing. We opted to remove the tree entirely. When the showed up, they had all proper equipment, to include a bucket lift and a motorized log hauler, and a 4 person team. They carefully coordinated cutting the branches that were hanging over both my roof and my neighbors. Zero issues. They also hauled away all the debris and ensured the yard was clean. This is a very professional company. They arrive at the scheduled time and the efficiency goes on from there. They follow safety precautions, have the proper tools and machines and clean up all the debris which they haul away. Palm trees are not 'scalped' but carefully trimmed and in the instances of removing very large limbs from oaks they carefully guide the cut limb down with ropes so as not to damage surrounding structures.
