I have been to this restaurant twice. One when they first opened and one just recently. I will say when I first went there were a couple of things that stood out since it had just opened it was very busy and due to the layout, it was VERY NOISY. My family was sat at a round table and we had an incredibly hard time hearing each other. The second time I went I was able to make a reservation which was nice since I did not know how busy it would be. It would've been nice if we were able to make a reservation for outside. Since we went at a different time this time it was easier to hear the other party. As for the food, I will say it's ok. Again, the loaded tater tot appetizer is definitely worth it though. As for the other options, they are ok. The only last con is the location. While it is a great location, parking can be a nightmare. It does make it slightly frustrating when wanting to go at dinner time. read more

I thought this restaurant would be more like a pub so I had not tried it. A friend invited me for dinner and I'm glad I went. It was much more upscale than I expected. The ambiance was very nice. It has American comfort and bar food which is done very well. I loved the chocolate molten cake. Our server was fantastic. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. I love champagne. He let me try theirs which was horrid. I thought it might be okay in the champagne margarita which sounded so good, Unfortunately, it was awful because the champagne is awful and it really screwed up the flavor of the margarita. While there, we also heard from someone else about how bad the champagne is. I know they focus on beer, but there are plenty of inexpensive and good Proseccos and sparkling wines that they could get for customers who don't drink beer. Anyway, I got a different drink (without champagne/sparkling wine) which was fine. Other than that drink, I love this place. read more

The decor of this restaurant is fantastic. You can definitely tell the really thought of the customer with little touches like multiple one person bathrooms and making sure there are hooks on the booths. I got the pork torta while I was here, and it was delicious. My friend got the chicken sandwich, and she said she enjoyed her's as well. Then reason I'm only give 4 stars is because all of the meals come with preselected sides. My friend switched her side from house made chips to Parmesan fries for no extra cost, but I was charged $3 to switch from my preselected side of tortilla soup to the "crispy" creole potatoes. While they still tasted fine, the potatoes were not crispy at all. Had the up charge been listed on the menu, I wouldn't haven't gotten them. It didn't even list the upcharge on my receipt, so I thought I was just charged the wrong price on accident. Overall I did enjoy my experience here, but I do think they should change the sides to be able to pick what you want. Soup just isn't what I want on a 75 degree day. read more

I recently met two friends for a dinner at 101 Beer Kitchen. We all ordered the Mojo Roasted Pork Torta, which was absolutely as good as it sounded! It comes with Chicken Tortilla Soup, too. Went for tenderloin Tuesday and would not advise anyone go there for that purpose. The first clue is that it is not on the regular menu. The tenderloin we received was a flattened tenderloin cut in half, with my wife and my order each receiving a half as our sandwich. Other issues with the sandwich came up as well. I have been to the restaurant many times and enjoyed good food and service, but will never go there for tenderloin again, and they do their restaurant a disservice by participating in tenderloin Tuesday if it is such a low priority for them. read more

This was our first visit. We had reservations and were immediately seated upon arrival. The staff were super friendly. I started with the Southern BLT starter, and although it was quite small, it was very delicious. I also ate the smoked wings and they were very delicious and cooked well. My 7 year old daughter had a kids meal which consisted of a pretzel dog, watermelon, parm fries, puppy chow, and apple juice. My daughter ate everything on her plate, and she is usually very picky when it comes to eating out. I just loved the amount of options given on the kids menu. My other daughter ate the 101 Beer Burger, and she said that it was very flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our server was awesome and very helpful. She made very good suggestions. I LOVE the location, and The prices are reasonable. We were all filled! I'm so happy that we chose to have dinner at the 101 Beer Kitchen. I can't wait to return. read more

Foods great ... service is shaky. Don't sit at the bar... bartender is over extended and can't handle the load. Went back to get a real table and mentioned to the manager I wanted a table because his bartender was over extended and i would have better luck at a table. He said "Well we are busy everywhere." This was my first restaurant after the stage 3 was entered into effect for fishers and Carmel. the experience was definitely unique And different then what I would normally get from lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were wearing masks and gloves and we sat outside on the patio under the shade. Darcy was our server and she was a pure delight of sunshine. She gave us great recommendations on the food and drinks. The champagne margarita was out of this world and the grilled salmon BLT was delicious. There was no inside seating in the restaurant whatsoever, and when we were done, we exited out of the side door to the parking lot instead of going back through the restaurant. It was definitely different from what I would normally experience in a restaurant setting, but with the way COVID-19 is taking over our lives, things will definitely not be the same. The restaurant is wonderful and the food is great, so I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The cocktails are excellent! The service is even better! The area this is situated in... the new little Fishers shopping center near IKEA... is awesome with a bunch of little shops and restaurants. This one stands out because they have a huge covered outside eating area with a large stone fireplace. Went with girlfriends the first time and had a few beers sitting out there and it was great. Service was just okay but beer selection was really good. We didn't eat though because the wait was horrendously long, so I didn't leave a review obviously. This time I went with a lunch date and they had just a light customer base... Yet I was really disappointed. To be clear, there was nothing amiss/wrong, just nothing great. We sat inside which was okay but not nearly as nice as sitting outside. The servers did the bare minimum, not sparing any extra words or greetings... the food was fine, but nothing outstanding... and the cost was high. It was an $80 lunch for two with two beers and there was just nothing to rave about, sadly. Too many amazing restaurants I already love in this area and so many I have yet to try, so just don't see me wasting my time going back for lackluster service and food. Tried out 101 Beer Kitchen in the middle of the summer during the Covid - 19 pandemic based on many people telling us we needed to go. The beer and wine selection was pretty extensive! While the food menu isn't super big, there truly is something on the menu for everyone. We started with the wings which were AMAZING! If you like wings, you will fall in love with these. For our entrees my boyfriend got the burger and fries while I got the Walleye. Both were really really good, and it was nice that we were able to order on completely opposite ends of the food spectrum. We were seated outside for our meal and absolutely loved the ambiance. There's a fireplace and over the summer, tons of floral notes. Everyone followed Covid policy well, and we felt extremely comfortable and safe during our meal. Since it is in the Yard in Fishers, there is ample parking and plenty to do around the area if you have to wait for a table. I recommend coming here for a more upscale yet casual dining experience. I think I just found my new favorite food spot in Fishers. Chef Ryan is a rockstar. Ranked in order of what we ate 1) Mojo pork tortas, (comes with chicken tortilla soup that's the best I've ever had... don't tell my mom that), 2) Green tomato BLT(thick smoky bacon was so tasty), 3) Nashville Shrimp (tastes like what Nashville should and you can make a sandwich with the biscuit and the pickle), 4) Fried Chicken Sandwich. The 101 Beer Kitchen has a great atmosphere & great drinks! They have a lot of beer choices (obviously) but they also have a really great Margarita Mimosa. Their cocktails are a little pricey but nothing too crazy. I paid $10 per mimosa I had. When it comes to food, their chicken Parmesan sandwich is delicious! However, their menu does change by season. I'm not a fan of their kettle chips. The food is a little too artsy for me, but they do have a few good items on the menu. I give 4/5 stars! read more

Friday night this place is hoppin so come early. We had great service in the bar. Tots are fresh shredded potato and drizzled with a spicy Mayo. They were pretty spicy so only get them if you like spice. The hanger steak was an intense full plate of food. It had a lot going on but was delicious! I tried to hit up 101 for some safer outdoor dining a few times this summer, and apparently I wasn't alone because there was always at least an hour wait. Good news for you--they take reservations. I was finally able to weasel my way in, and 101 did not disappoint. What a great addition to The Yard. Our table had grilled cheese & squash soup, wings, salmon & sprouts, and a burger. Stopped in for a late lunch today. The restaurant is located in the fishers district which is a new hot spot with restaurants. It was about a five minute wait to be seated outside. The inside of the restaurant was super cute. We were seated at a nice table. My only complaint is they could spread the tables out a little but more with covid going on. We were served a large jug of water which was nice to not have to wait for refills. I ordered the pretzel crusted chicken sandwich. It was super good! I got the fries instead of the chips. It said they are Parmesan flavored but I didn't notice that flavor. Also the plablano mayo was not spicy for any one worried about that. My friend loved her fish and chips. Service was good. The menu was by QR code and you could pay that way too. This restaurant is a solid 4 to 4.5. The only weird set up is the bathrooms. They are all unisex so I had to put the seat down before using. read more
