    Paper Plane cocktail - delish!
    Shelly C.

Recommended for the back deck They have absolutely beatify Patio! It's perfect for a summer night. You get to sit above the water and look at the sunset while you watch the beautiful boats go by. It's right across the river from Jacob's pavilion, so on Concert night you would be able to hear everything. You are definitely paying for the view. The food was WAY overpriced, especially for what you get. My burger was $20 (which is fine) but it was 2 overcooked thin patties with barely enough stuff on it. The fries however are really good. The food was decent, not great. My cocktail was great! It was 16$ and worth every penny. The craft cocktails were all good. Our server was very sweet. I would not recommend this place overall due to it being overpriced, but once in awhile on a gorgeous night it's worth it

The chicken pesto sandwich was sooo good. The atmosphere was very nice sitting outside by the river. The staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely visit again.

    Outdoor patio

Sat on their patio late in the evening. Nice view of the water. Unfortunately, it was ran over by mice? We made a comment to the server and she said they were aware and it was "hard to control". I've eaten at a lot of outdoor and restaurants and never have had mice constantly darting around our feet. No other comment was made by the restaurant about it. Overall it was my second time dining in. Food is somewhat pricey for what it is. I think this experience sealed me not returning

I went to 1330 on the River for Valentine's Day. I had an early reservation before replacing the reservation when I saw they were doing a Valentine's Day special. Firstly I will say the food absolutely delicious! The drink I got was always wonderful! Which is why I'd recommend and even go back. However, while they promoted special items for Valentine's Day and drinks we weren't offered any other menu. Which was fine, however it wasn't what was advertised. The waitress we had was super nice, but it also seemed a bit spacey and didn't really know her menu. When I asked her about a drink that 1330 posted on their instagram story she had no clue what it was and just bought me a random one. Which again ended up being delicious, so no harm no foul. Over all, it was fine nothing wowing but I'd easily go back to experience there outdoor area, and try some more food.

Great location by the water on East Bank of the Flats in downtown Cleveland. We visited on 4th of July. Mom had a salad and a wagyu burger and I had a salmon blt with Brussels sprouts. Also had the NY cheesecake for dessert. Everything was very good and our server McKenna was the best. She always checked on us and even assisted Mom getting to the restroom. Great time! We will be back.

Bacon wrapped goat cheese dates , glizzy pops with a spicy yet sweet breading , and the best Brussel sprouts you ever had. I'm not a fan of goat cheese because it's so strong but wow I never knew someone could make something so savory and beautiful with every bite there's a different flavor and it just gets better and better. The bacon was definitely perfectly crisp the date was sweet but not overwhelming and the goat cheese just tied everything together so well. The Glizzy pops ???? Omg honey cornbread mix with a spicy Frank in the middle omggggggg. This is the best thing I think I've ever had. No sauce needed with anything on this plate. But the special sauce definitely takes this to a new level ! I asked for an order of these to go because well come on. I'm the hardest person to please when it comes to Brussel sprout because well no one does them right. These were freshhhh perfectly sauced perfectly steamed. I'm not sure what the sauce on here is but babyyyyyyyy send me home with a bucket of this sauce. I asked for the recipe 2-3 times so I can make it at home . 1330 on the river is absolutely a place that I will visit every time I come to Cleveland. All the food is made to order so everything came out quick , HOT, and super fresh. Please go see Lauren and Harry at the bar if you want a GOOOD TIME ! Every drink she made from the simple to the special to the intricate was a 12/10, service was perfect as well from all the staff. Everyone made sure to ask us 1000000 times if we were okay and ensured us with the best customer service ever. We got to meet the owner and he's such a nice guy he personally came out to make sure we were all having a good time. Please make sure to ask about the tequila that they make on their own when I say smoooooooooooooth I mean it's perfectly smooth. The music is the perfect mix it's a little bit of this a little bit of that but it fits whatever vibe you're looking for in my opinion. Oh and it's pretty inside ! Neon signs and the food and service is good ?? Never heard of this combo before. The bathrooms as well as the resturant were extremely clean when we came as well.

    Glizzies
    Miracle R.

Service was really good. Great music and vibes overall. Had the glizzies. They were okay. Batter to dog ratio was off. More hot dog than breading. Flavor was cool. Served with the basics hot sauce and mustard. I was hoping for a chicken and waffle or biscuit and gravy so nothing on the menu spoke to me. I opted out of being anything else. And because I hadn't eaten I didn't try drinks. My friend got the French toast (not pictured). He said he'd recommend it as a small sweet bite but the portion was small. Overall, I'd likely return for the vibes and to try additional menu items.

    Slammin salmon BLT

Great food and friendly service. The salmon wasn't dry or overcooked and the fries were very nicely seasoned. The chicken alfredo was also delicious. I'm sure the outdoor seating would be nice when it's not 20 degrees outside!

I went with a group and sat in the lower area. It was a wonderful area just a little cold due to the weather. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the brussel sprouts, chicken tacos, and fries. It was all really good. The brussel sprouts were tossed in the really good sauce and roasted. The chicken tacos were really flavorful and filling. Loved it. The truffle fries were tasty as well. I would love to check this out when it's nicer weather. It has a beautiful view of the water and city. Look forward to going back again.

Great stop the morning after a wedding, we had some brunch and I'm still thinking about the potato wedges. So crispy and delicious, I'd go back just for them. Burger was tasty, breakfast tacos were solid - but the wedges were gamechangers. Extremely friendly service, great views of bots coming into the harbor. Odd lack of patrons being the only ones in there, but the fries were 5/5 stars.

Came here for my wife's birthday a while back and had a lovely meal experience out on the back patio facing the Cuyahoga river. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large-ish party and provide my wife with a memorable birthday celebration. We ordered a few appetizers to share, and then folks each ordered their own main entrees. For the table, we got both a Brussels sprouts appetizer as well as two sushi rolls, which were surprisingly fresh and tasty. Brussels sprouts were large in size, split lengthwise and lightly fried topped with a drizzle. My wife wanted an entree salad for dinner, and ordered the wild arugula salad. It came topped with pears, candied walnuts, goat cheese and a champagne vinaigrette dressing which she really enjoyed. I was in the mood for red meat, so I ordered one of their burgers. The Zeke BBQ burger came topped with caramelized onions, jalapenos, cheddar cheese and of course BBQ sauce. The jalapenos gave this burger an extra kick, compared to other si9mialr versions I've had elsewhere. It held up well under the grilled brioche bun, and the accompanying fries were crisp and delicious. After the meal, our server brought out a slice of cheesecake for my wife, a rally nice finishing touch to the meal. Definitely will return to this spot, a great place to bring visitors to show off our city a little bit!

But yesterday my wife and I decided to get involved with the festivities in Gorden Square/Battery Park. So on a brisk but sunny day we drove down to Battery Park in Cleveland and visited "All Saints Public House" for a tall glass of Guinness and a dish of Cabbage and Noodles topped with a Bratwurst. The Battery Park area is a wonderful part of town and a fun place to visit. "All Saints" is a great ethnic bar/restaurant. It's dark, moody, warm, full of awesome people, and just a great place to be. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were really great and made us feel right at home. We sat and talked and watched "Gone with the Wind", drank a wonderfully satisfying Guinness (on tap), and ate some of the best Cabbage and Noodles I've ever had, with an excellent Bratwurst on top. We started with "snackeries" (adorable baby daiquiris) that set the tone perfectly: fun, clever, and delicious. Each dish that followed was layered with flavor, texture, and thoughtfulness -- the kind of food that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. Not a single plate disappointed, which is rare even at the best restaurants. This isn't just "good vegan food." It's simply excellent food that happens to be vegan. The atmosphere is moody and intimate in the best way -- dim lighting, stylish interiors, and a hum that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto one of the city's best-kept secrets. The staff only add to that energy, striking the perfect balance between professional and genuinely friendly. And let's not forget one of the most underrated perks: free street parking right outside, which in any city is practically gold. We didn't have a reservation and lucked into seats at the bar (my preferred choice anyway). From that vantage point, we got to watch the bartenders work their magic, and it only enhanced the experience. Their cocktails aren't just drinks -- they're little works of art, and each one felt just as thoughtfully crafted as the food. This is one of those rare places I almost don't want to review because I selfishly want to keep it a secret. It's unique, unforgettable, and already has me planning a return trip to Cleveland just to sit at that bar again. Do yourself a favor: don't miss this gem.

We ordered beers and as luck would have it, I was able to order their last available rack of ribs for the evening (my go-to barbecue item)! We also got some beef brisket and a few sides to share. Overall the meats were tasty, but there were a few issues with the meal. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning on them and were quite tender. The brisket also had a good bark, but was a tad dry. In terms of available sauces, the Kansas City sauce was thick and tangy, but the Proof sauce was not good at all...I just could not put my finger on what about it I didn't like n its flavor profile. The coleslaw was shredded with vinegar and quite dry, the mac-n-cheese was only semi-gooey and the fries (although tasty) were limp from being undercooked. Bottom line was thumbs up on the meats and thumbs sideways (or down) on the sides. Wil most certainly give them another try as I am a BBQ junky, hoping the outcomes are slightly better.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.
