I filled them, and was going to purchase a drink, but they did not have the drink that I liked. So, I was walking out. As a complementary service most places when you bring your own cup, don't charge you for ice because ice is free, it's complementary. however, this guy made a big ordeal about it, so i said, OK I'll just dump the ice out like in the sink, because it had already been inside of my cups, my own used cups. He said oh no, lifted the icemaker and poured the ice back into the machine. GROSS. For safety reasons and OSHA requirements; i know that is a public safety violation. That's absolutely disgusting! I'm pretty sure that goes against OSHA HEALTH AND SAFETY. I would file a complaint, but honestly, it's beneath me. I just think that was cheap, rude, tasteless, and absolutely disgusting. i would never go back there and use that ice machine. do with this as you may. 0/10 would not recommend.

During the pandemic I have used their drive up a lot which is conveniently next to the gas station. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, the gas station is not very big. Most of the time I have at least a 5-minute wait but sometimes I can get in and out without waiting. What's nice is that all of the pumps stretch, so even if a pump is available that isn't on the side of your car that the gas is on, you can still use it. I kind of hate doing that because it's kind of a pain, but occasionally I will do it just so I can get in and out of the gas station quicker. BJ's is consistently $0.20 or more per gallon cheaper than all of the regular gas stations in the area, so overall I have no complaints.

They have now jacked it up to 1.59 for a large. It adds up when you buy one six days a week. Here it is a mere 1.79 for a 52 oz. iced tea. No you are not reading that wrong. That is a ten hour day fricking iced tea. Bargain! Best of all? I can add as much ice as I choose, no more begging for naught. My seventh tea? Gratis! Yeah, on the freaking house. Happiness. This tea is pretty dang tasty too. The staff here is consistently friendly and I have been here at all hours due to a rotating schedule. If you are going to become a regular then get a speedway card and you will get the freebie deals on more than just iced tea. Pop, snacks, tornadoes, hot dogs, egg rolls, you name it and the seventh is free. Yay! I do drive to either the Exxon or the Eagle station on Michigan Avenue for cheaper gas, Sinead is right.
