The amenities included a gorgeous and comfortable queen bed, jacuzzi tub, Keurig , and a lovely parlor and sitting room as well as two decks! The breakfast was simply spectacular. We were served homemade quiche and waffles! You could tell that the owners spent a lot of time preparing for our visit. I definitely recommend!

The entry was decked out for Christmas, so the staircase and central chandelier made even more of an impression. The early American decor, particularly in the library, made me wish I was staying longer so I could enjoy curling up with a book (and perhaps the friendly feline of the house). Being in the middle of a long trip, this was the best night of sleep I had - even compared to more expensive hotels. The mattress was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The bathroom is outfitted with plenty of towels, organic soaps, and a whirlpool tub. If you are looking for imposing or grandiose, you might be better served elsewhere - but if you prefer authenticity and coziness, you will enjoy your stay at Tucker House. Steve and Devona are incredibly hospitable and they serve a delicious breakfast. We can't wait for our next stay.

Jeremy and Mark have a beautiful B&B and the attention to detail will exceed any expectation. My husband and I stayed 5 nights in the Rose Cottage for his 50th birthday in early September. The amazing cottage was comfortable and quiet with everything needed for our stay. The main house is beautifully appointed and decorated and your hosts think of every detail. Nice touches included flavored whiskeys and treats made by Mark available in the common area at all times. The breakfast available each morning (prepared by Mark) was amazing and the menu is diverse enough to cater to any taste. Jeremy and Mark are truly passionate about Louisville and Jeremy provided awesome suggestions for tours, dining, and other activities. Jeremy also keeps a fine selection of bourbons in-house and his Black Walnut Old-Fashioned is a must try! Jeremy and Mark have forged relationships locally that can give your stay something extra, as well. We booked the Birthday Package, which included a bouquet of flowers, delicious cake from an established local bakery and two of the Black Walnut Old Fashioned's. We also added on the Angels Envy Package which was well worth the money! It included two leather covered glasses, a giftcard to a local steakhouse that has an amazing assortment of whiskeys, a special bottle of Angel's Envy and two tickets to their distillery tour. Which ended up being one of our favorite, and most informative tours of our stay. My husband and I found Inn at Woodhaven to be absolutely spectacular and we were already booking our next stay within two weeks of being home. We truly felt like we were leaving a friend when we departed.

Not a great experience…read more Our room was clean and beds were OK, comfort wise. It didn't smell. Slightly outdated carpet and lobby, free breakfast. We didn't have huge expectations, just wanted some good rest. We booked from the road and were tired upon arrival, only to get stuck at checkin for 30 minutes because the front desk team was struggling (had charged another family for our room and asked me to pay a different amount than what I had booked the room for on Booking.com.) Staff was friendly and kind. They did get us taken care of. We get into our room and from 11:45 PM until after 1 AM there are young children running the halls, yelling. Parents yelling after them. At 5 AM we are awakened by loud music playing from someone's phone - over and over - outside our door. While finally settling back to sleep, the alarm clock in the room went off at 6 AM (my bad for not checking it - and doesn't housekeeping usually turn those off?) It's been a night. Not sure I'd stay here again. The hotel had a rating on Booking.com of 8.3, and apparently this was a rough night for them (and us!)

I had reserved a regular king room, but once I got up to the room they gave me at check-in, I saw that I had been given an accessible, which was not needed. Having been exhausted, I just stuck with it. Overall the room was spacious and had wonderful apartment like amenities. That said, the accessible room posed two challenges for me. The closet that is provided to hang clothes also has a safe on the floor. Since it was an accessible room, the bars to hang things were down lower than in a standard closet. I was unable to hang the dresses I brought in there as they doubled up on top of the safe. The lower bar was even more useless and was suitable for hanging child sized shirts as it was not much further above the safe. I ended up hanging my clothes in the kitchen. If I had it to do again, I would definitely go back to the desk and ask for a regular room. There were two shades on the windows. One was opaque and the other would have been great for blocking out the parking lot lights to sleep, however, the light blocking one would not pull down. I had to take the pillows off the sofa and arrange them on the window sill to block out the light in order to sleep. The bath tub/shower floor has no anti-slip coating on the bottom, so it was quite slippery when taking a shower, so I had to modify it by placing one of the hand towels in the tub to use as an anti-slip mat. The breakfast was ample with scrambled eggs, cooked to order omelettes, instant oatmeal, breakfast meats and yoghurt, and fruit. The lady and cook in the breakfast area were extremely friendly making for a pleasant experience. Over all the hotel is a great option if you like convinience (it is very near major roads and numerous restaurants) and large rooms at a fair price. If you book a stay, make sure you use Google maps directions as it can be a little difficult to find since it nestled among office buildings and apartments.

She got us checked in quickly and keys in our hand with a bottle of water for each of us. We found the hotel and the rooms to be very clean. That is always a plus. Our room had a king size bed. Overnight stay from 6 to 7 November 2024…read more This is a really beautiful hotel. I chose this hotel because it was conveniently close to my doctors office where I had to do an eye procedure and did not want to make the ~45 minutes drive home. Upon check-in, my companion and I were greeted pleasantly by Karen (she also checked us out the next morning). She confirmed our personal details and our stay information, then assigned a room. We even got an unexpected upgrade from a king room to a massive suite. Upon entry into the room, we walked by the small kitchenette and into the first open door we saw. The bedroom has a double bed which confused us since we reserved a king bed. Then it clicked, it was an additional room in the suite as a result of the upgrade. We walked by the kitchenette to the other side to the other bedroom that had the king bed. The suite was beautiful. It could probably fit 8 people comfortably for an extended stay (2 on each queen bed, 2 on the pull out couch in the living room, and 2 on the king bed). Each room also had a TV. The kitchenette had a full-sized fridge, a stove top, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee pot, and essential cookware. There was a small hiccup, though. We had not been in the room more than 5 minutes before we heard a key turn and opened the door (we did not engage the deadbolt since we just planned to drop our bags off and leave). A startled hotel employee opened the door because he thought the room was empty. We informed him that we literally got assigned the room and he apologized profusely before leaving. It was a Wednesday night and dinner was provided. There was wings and what looked like small quiche bites, a soup, cracker jacks, and beer, and coke. The next morning breakfast was provided. The dining area was beautiful and well laid out. There is a gym available and although we did not use it, we popped our head inside to check out the available equipment. There is a lot of parking. Both outside and inside the hotel was welcoming. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend staying here.
