I've banked with navy federal for years and never been disappointed with any branch offices. I…read moreremember one time I received an email about an order I received but I didn't purchase the item. I immediately called them and there wasn't a charged on the account. I still felt a little uneasy about so I went down to the local office and they took care of me and understood my concerns. All of the staff that I've interacted with are completely understandable and I don't see myself banking with anyone else.

I love banking with Langley Federal Credit Union. I haven't had many issues with my banking needs…read more Banks usually are pretty busy in general, this bank is no different. I usually don't have to go inside for many things. I like that this bank makes the debit cards in house so there is no worries if you have a broken or lost card. This branch is always clean, well organized, and has friend staff. I particularly like this branch over any others. I originally signed up with this branch when I lived closer, and will still drive to bank here. That says a lot because I am not a commuter I'm regards to anything in life. They always have music playing to lighten your mood, especially if there is a long wait time. The only negative to Langley banking in general is no 24 hour service. Once this bank closes you cannot even call a customer service representative for assistance. You would have to wait until the branch opens to receive any assistance. That can be pretty frustrating when you can not access your money or questions regarding your money when needed. Thank you Langley Aberdeen Branch for taking care of all my banking needs.

I'll afford you a moment to wonder why I'm writing a one-star review in late 2020; it's STILL on my account. I did my due diligence; I called, and was told it would be removed (Jan 2020). It's not doing damage, just annoying me, so I wait a while longer. I get a friendly, likely automated email from Bryan Hatchell in March thanking me for my military service, which is almost as meaningful as returning my call. I respond with a "I appreciate that; can you get this mortgage off my account, since I haven't been on the same continent in a year?". It's been six month and four emails to him and his supervisor Hal Dalton, and I'm still greeted by my non-existent ~$190,000 mortgage. I feel like they're dodging calls and emails to avoid doing the basics of their job; accurately tracking what I owe/am owed.

Jolene, the Branch Manager, assisted me over the phone. She had a pleasant voice and demeanor and seemed to be smiling as she spoke with me. This is a small location compared to some that I've been to in other states. It's located in a shopping plaza. There's ample parking. I must have come at the right time as it was easy in and easy out. Elizabeth appears to be a quiet, reserved, young lady. Don't worry as she will open and talk to you and ensure that your questions are answered and needs met. She was able to assist me with my account, as well as clear up some incorrect information I was provided from calling the call center/toll free number. I appreciate the time she took helping and the friendly conversation. It'll be nice to see additional locations opened, especially in the central Virginia area. The locations on Virginia seem to be spread out, whereas in northern states like Pennsylvania and New Jersey there's literally one on every corner or so it seems. They're closed on Saturday and Sunday, so they truly have banker's hours. If you are current military or a veteran, let them tell you what they have to offer. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.
