This shopping center in Cancun is a pretty nice place to walk around for a few hours. It has a mix…read moreof upscale stores, normal mall stores you would recognize from the US, and a few souvenir shops that are more Cancun specific. The upscale side of things was a little surprising. A lot of the prices were actually more expensive than what you would pay in the US, or at best about the same, so do not expect luxury shopping deals here. There are some really good looking restaurants throughout the mall and a couple different dessert and ice cream places too. We tried one gelato place that shaped the ice cream into a flower or rose shape, which was pretty cool and different. One thing I did appreciate was security. There were military police around the property, so the whole place felt safe and well monitored. Overall, it is a clean, modern shopping center with a lot to do. Just do not come expecting bargains, come for the atmosphere, restaurants, and variety instead.
