On May 3rd contractor - Brandon Lilly came to my home to determine why my a/c was not cooling. He looked in the attic, looked at my thermostat, and said he did not see any problems. He never went outside to check the a/c unit. He told me to contact Jessica at their office if the problem re-occurred. I contacted Jessica on May 10th to report the same problem. She did not schedule a contractor to come to my home. I called First A.M., to complain. I was told to call Kleen Aire back to report the problem again. I contacted Jessica again on June 1st. She used the rain as an excuse for ignoring my service request for 2 weeks. On Tuesday June 2nd, Brandon came over to check the existing problem that I reported initially reported (April 27th) and then again on May 10th and June 1st. When he came by on June 2nd, he looked in the attic and checked the thermostat again. This time he checked the unit outside. Then he told me that I have a leak in the coil and there was ice on my unit and it's leaking refrigerant. He turned off the unit and said to leave it off for a few hours so the ice could melt. He said he would report the problem to First American because the a/c unit was just replaced a couple of years or so ago. Today - June 4th, I called First American and spoke to Victoria about the status of the problem with my a/c. She said there is no report in my account from Kleen Aire about my a/c unit. So, I requested a complaint to be expedited. As a result of the lack of scheduling and communication from Kleen Aire, I am using fans to stay cool in this heat in Houston until the leak in my coil can be repaired. We contacted his company, they advised us that he would need 2 trucks and 4 guys. When they showed up, it was a trailer, 2 guys, and suburban that broke down at least four times In the way to our new home. While we were moving the owner heard we needed a "move out/deep clean". I am sure he saw dollar signs. The owner told us that his girlfriend cleaned houses and he could get her to come by, he also told us there would be light vacuum and we didn't want a shampoo . Needless to say that didn't happen. His girlfriend never showed up. There was no vacuum lines on carpet to indicate it had been vacuum. Tacks in floor, command strips left in walls. The fridge was not cleaned out either. The bathrooms looked like they had been wiped with a wet rag and because of that it got dirty again. I know what you're thinking....why did yall pay? and that is A good point. We were under stress and wasn't thinking. We have learned our lesson and hopes someone can too before and not after.
