My car died on a Thursday morning with an unknown electrical problem that left the car unable to start and battery drained. Working through AAA I ended up getting the car towed to 2 Brothers Automotive because AAA referred me to them and the tow truck was from that shop. The tow truck got my car (and myself- thanks to James for the ride) to the shop around 3:30 PM. The pros there took a look immediately and were able to isolate the problem to the battery and had a replacement delivered to the shop and installed REALLY fast. They gave me a very reasonable price for the battery and service and I drove out of there before 5:00. I would absolutely do business with this shop again. read more

The incompetent techs looked at the car daily for a few weeks before I gave up because all i was doing is chasing parts to replace parts. They tried to get me to buy new 4 new tires I just put new tires on it seven months before that one tire was slightly leaking air because of a plug and I knew that tire needed replaced they had no wear no issues my car was rattling because of a heat shield I got charged $200 for that. It lasted one day started rattling again to make things worse. we bought a vehicle at the same time with the only stipulation they fix the shaking. It's been there three times Customer service sucks save your money. Take it to a reliable shop. These people pack guns around with them while conducting business. I loved them for towing. Tim is a decent service writer. I brought in my 91 Lexus that my son decided running over railroad tracks with 22 inch rims was an ok thing to do. This resulted in a $1600 repair. Struts and plus wheels and 4 tires. I paid cash got a discount thinking ok life's good. Right nope wrong two of my four tire keep going flat my son left town and the car sat for a week both the front two went flat and one came off the rim. Took it to them and was told no warranty on the tire and it would be an additional $225 to replace the one. They were dismissive when she mentioned that the price seemed very high for the $7 in bulbs they replaced. The labor was 6 times the cost of the parts. I expect people to make a fair profit but this was beyond reason in my opinion. This is a service a lot of places would have charged in the $10 to $15 range for the labor. Not Interested in New Business Contacted this firm over a month ago (On a Saturday) to get a quote for service on my vehicle. I could tell the gentleman was busy so I told him I was in no hurry and he could call me on Monday. (Ne never called back.) I work right across the street so I stopped in 3 weeks ago and gave the gentleman a request for a quote for services (He even looked at my car) and said he would get back to me with a quote. He never called back. I stopped in a second time two weeks ago and asked if they forgot about me he said that he was just running behind and would get back to me. He called me later in the week and said they were having some kind of problem with their estimating system and it would be another day to get an estimate and he would call back. He never called back. Last week I tried to call Mr Jack Jones the owner to relate to him the terrible service I had received thinking that if I was the owner and I was not aware of problems I would appreciate someone letting me know so I could fix the problem. We bought a used van for our granddaughter then took it to them to check out (yeah, should have done so before purchase) but they did a nice job. Explained what needed fixed now and what would probably need rechecked in a year or so. We okayed the work and they had it road safe by the next day. Granddaughter had a squeaky brake issue a week or so later and they fixed the problem at no charge. We've had it back a time or so for additional work and they are always prompt, pleasant and do good work. Car broke down near their newer Stelzer road shop on a Wednesday. I called AAA, who used 2 Brothers tow to pick me up. I wasn't going to go to their shop, and had actually asked the tow to take me to the AAA in Gahanna, but the tow guy called the manager, got a estimate and a promise they could get it in that night, where as AAA said it might not be until after the weekend, so I took the chance. I was not disappointed. They repaired my car (driver side axle busted and passenger side was rusted out and about to go), put on two new tires that I requested b/c the tread was low, all at what I consider a decent price, and in 24-hours. These guys are a joke. The owner called me an idiot several times on the phone today, hung up on me three times all while on speaker phone as I stood under my car at another shop looking at the jank ass repair they didn't fix. They replaced my tire rods October 2012, the part was faulty and so February 2013 they agreed to replace the replacements. Today, August 2013, I'm told these same rods they fixed have the wrong boot on them and no grease! Ask so naturally I called them this morning to ask for more information about this February transaction, only to be told I'm an idiot that I don't know what I'm talking about and this is not their problem. Real classy organization you have guys. They also like to point out that because I've complained in the past about their lack of communication that I'm a bad customer. This is a top-notch company we highly recommend! We were in Columbus with our company box truck for a trade show. The fan belt slipped off and we were in a real bind. Managed to get it back on with the help of a wrench out at the airport, and then limped back to our hotel. Fate intervened and we were staying right across the street from 2 Brothers Automotive! Dropped off the truck the very next morning, and Tim and his crew got the brand parts in, fixed the truck, and had it all ready for us by end of the day. We Uber-ed to the trade show and Uber-ed back to 2 Brothers Automotive. The truck was ready and we were in great shape. 2 Brothers does a LOT of services which we would have ordered had we been there longer. I recently dealt with a dead car battery and AAA sent one of 2 Bro's technicians out to see if all i needed was a jump and from the moment he got out of his truck he acted as if I was a bother to him. He jumped the battery.. it temporarily worked, told me I could drive over to Walmart to get a cheaper battery than what AAA sells (how is it possible when my car won't drive without being towed?!). Then proceeded to tell me that if it happened again when I got up to leave my house in the morning to put some water into the battery reservoir and "it should help". Surprise, the next morning my car wouldn't start again, I decided to hesitantly trust the technicians advice and poured some water into it and what a shock, it didn't work. Come to find out doing that to a car battery can ruin the rest of the car, something I cannot afford. I have since reported the tech to AAA about the situation. Consumer beware. read more

My car was towed into the shop for brake repair. Everyone was aware of the issues with the car. The first thing they did was put it on a Diagnostic and tried to call minutes later to let me know my brakes needed repair. Duh I just told you that, why did I need a diagnostic.He proceeded to tell me my car would be ready later that day. About 30 hours later they called to let me know my car was ready. The Mechanic moved the car to show the brakes were repaired i paid $500.and i decided to check my fluids my headlight frame was cracked and the headlight conveniently laying in the slot. I take the car back first thing in the morning. First i heard i couldnt have broke it i never lifted the hood after he was showed the brake line he ran under the hood he said I lifted the hood but i didnt mess up the headlight. Another guy tells me he is not the owner but he will tell the owner and get back in touch. At 4:00pm on my way home. I stopped by this poorly run establishment again. I had a less than desirable experience with this place. I would not take or recommend any vehicle to this place. I experienced a less than customer eccentric process. I had to constantly call and go to the shop to get feedback on repairs, as opposed to an experience with Fine Line Auto Body where I was consistently updated on my vehicles progress. I still have work that is incomplete on my vehicle and had to work around them to get my vehicle completely finished! I was simply over promised and under delivered. I get it that it is tough to please everyone and to run a business there are a lot of moving parts, but I'm obsessed with customer service and apparently they are not. My intent isn't to defame, but communicate how I felt after a dealing with this organization and I can assure you that I would never get work done there again.
