I had a fantastic experience with 2 Green Chicks. I was a little anxious about who they might send to my house because I live alone, but the company sent the two sweetest and most professional young women. Gabby and Emily were very warm and got started right away. They deep cleaned every surface imaginable, even things I had forgotten about. I was a little embarrassed about the state of my shower because the previous owner was elderly and I don't think it had been cleaned properly in years. I tried cleaning it for weeks and kept getting overwhelmed. I don't know what kind of sorcery they performed but it was nearly spotless when they left. They worked quietly most of the time since I WFH but they did come to me for a few check ins to ensure some items were cleaned to my satisfaction. Let me preface this by saying, this isn't my house. I am renting it, but they were hired to clean up after the PREVIOUS tenants. I would not even give them one star if that were possible. I would NOT recommend this cleaning service to anyone! They were suppose to deep-clean the refrigerator and the oven and they sure we h*ll don't know the meaning of DEEP clean!!! The oven was just wiped down, but you could clearly see the grime when opening the door. My boyfriend's mother ran a napkin across the inside and there was grease on the napkin BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CLEAN IT!!! The freezer part of the refrigerator was completely left untouched. They did not dust every surface as I was told they would. They left gunk in the sink, which they also did not clean. *I'm* now having to *ACTUALLY* DEEP-CLEAN the house because *I* know what the actual meaning is. They wanted to charge another $100 to just come back out to clean more, like WHAT?! This service is NOT worth what was paid the first time!!! So disgusted with them! *Edit: YES! Posting this review for my wife that booked this cleaning...Terrible experience and owner was not helpful in trying to fix the matter. I requested a deep clean for a 3600 sq ft home. I was told it would be an all day job d/t size of home. They quoted for $725. They were 2 hours late and were only there just under 3 hours. They claim they charge per labor hour not on how the completion of the job looks. They sent 5 people to our home to clean (2 of them showed up 25 mins late). The only way we knew they came was because of the vacuuming. All surfaces were dusty and items weren't even moved to clean under. We had clothes and other items left on couch and they were not moved to even fluff pillows, Kitchen sink was not even touched, there was a small sink of dirty dishes and food left all in the sink. There were hand prints on windows left from our kids, items they did dust they were dusted items were not moved just dusted around them, they even left some kids snack wrappers on tables. There were dresser drawers left open. When I spoke with owner regarding being unhappy with the service she stated that I paid for 16 hours of labor and I got 14 hours so they would refund me $90 and only charge me $630. The job they performed with 5 people is the same as what my husband and I could have done in 3 hours. She was very much unwilling to work with me even when I showed the pictures and asked if this is acceptable for her company and if a filthy sink and everything left dusty was considered a deep clean and her response was "I as the manager, believe we provided 14 labor hours of service to you which is a charge of $630. So do not expect your home to be complete if you decide to go with this company. They will only charge by labor hour "which what they clean in an hour is significantly lower than my expectations clearly". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR DEEP CLEANING!! read more

Let me start off by saying that the actual cleaning service was great. The owner, not so much. I was quoted $160 for one cleaning for a 2500 sq ft house. Which I thought was a little overpriced, but whatever. It was just a regular cleaning, no serious deep cleaning. After the service, the owner gives me a call saying that she has to charge me $270!!! Again this was a regular cleaning, no deep cleaning at all. I have never heard of anyone charging that much for a 2500 sq ft home. When I asked "is that considered deep cleaning price because if so, I did not get a deep cleaning". She proceeded to tell me "no, a deep cleaning is about double that price". Nearly $550 for a deep clean.... for a 3 bedroom home.... Again, as great as the actual women who cleaned my home did, I will NEVER use this company again. They overcharge so terribly. I asked 2 Green Chicks to come clean after a family funeral and a week of business. Two lovely ladies came and worked super diligently. They were thorough, patient with my 2 crazy dogs and did an excellent job. If I could afford to have them come more often, I definitely would. They are my "go to" cleaning company when I do need help. I love being able to sign up for a clean online - and also love knowing my home is being cleaned with green cleaners that will not harm us, our grandchildren, or the dogs. I used them for 2 properties one was a general cleaning and one was a deep cleaning. The property where they did the general cleaning was what I was expecting nothing more nothing less. The property where the deep cleaning was preformed was less than desirable. The ceiling fans in 2 of the 3 bedrooms were not cleaned in those bedrooms they also neglected to clean the dust of the walls and ceilings. I had to go back and do that myself. the freezer was not touched. There was a bag of opened chips behind the refrigerator that was easy to see without moving the refrigerator. The cleaning was not what I would call a deep cleaning. Upon calling them and sending pictures of the issues described above, I had to call four different times, leaving a voicemail each time as no one answered. I finally just showed up at the office to discuss my issues. Will not use this company again for one simple reason, the owner never apologized. I can overlook a lot with a simple we are sorry and will not allow that to happen again. read more

We are currently evaluating different house keeping businesses for regular housekeeping for our home. I emailed this business via Yelp and exchanged emails with Amy, the owner. She explained they don't use bleach and other non natural chemicals that can emit bad fumes. At this point I'm questioning if they can really deep clean to my liking without using bleach, comet etc but I decide to give them a try. Amy was very pleasant and professional and as part of the estimate process came out to the house to take a look and give us an accurate estimate. We agreed upon a price range based on time required to meet our cleaning requirements. On cleaning day, I've taken time off work, two of Amy's employees showed up on time and were pleasant, professional, attired in matching clean uniforms, and seemed committed to meeting my cleaning requirements. The cleaners ask me before I leave the house, "do you need us out at a certain time today?" And I replied "absolutely not, since this is a deep clean and I'm paying over $300, you take as much time as you need to finish the work, here's a key in case you need to let yourself out after you are done" Four hours later the cleaners let me know via text they have completed the cleaning. Later that afternoon when my wife and I return home, we discover many areas are not cleaned to our standards. Areas not cleaned to our standards were: kitchen cabinets, master shower, master doors, kitchen door frame, wooden floors, kitchen island, top of fridge and freezer rubber seal. I absolutely understand that cleaning can be subjective and as a relationship develops between cleaners and client, the client and cleaner understands each other's definition of "clean" and adjustments are made. This was too many shortfalls to explain away the lack of fine cleaning to not understanding what I expected. Amy, the owner, did explain to me (and stated that it did not explain or excuse the shortfalls) that one of the cleaners went to the hospital that night and was diagnosed with bronchitis. We both agreed however that I was done a dis service and the job was not satisfactorily completed. Amy herself agreed to come out next day to insure deficient areas were corrected. I now take more time off work, Amy arrives on time and cleans for two hours and does correct all areas to my liking except floor and grout of bottom of shower are still darker and hold soap scum in areas. Amy explains she used a brush but without using bleach, is unable to make bottom of shower and grout match rest of grout in shower. (That afternoon I cleaned bottom of shower and grout with a brush and bleach and it comes clean immediately) I'm charged for five hours ($314) which I'm not real pleased about as I'm thinking that one of those charged hours was for a do over from a sub standard job PLUS I had to take additional time off work for the do over? Amy used my hard wood cleaner (BONO) and the floors came out really nice the second time. I'm thinking green cleaning with less harsh, safer, more environmentally friendly cleaning solutions is in demand by a certain segment of the cleaning business and is much safer for the cleaners but I just don't think it's for our home and our expectations. Bad communication and contract mess. did not know 2 Green Chicks had me sign on a contract. I was using them on a consecutive monthly basis then stopped for 3 months. Then on month 4, They automatically scheduled themselves, without me calling for them to come out because the Owner said I was on a contract - even if I didn't call for service - because I was on this contract I had to pay for the service in which the girls came out that they scheduled without talking to me on a phone to confirm. I was charged for wasting there time because I was not home when they showed up. The owner later told me they sent me an email about the appointment that they automatically set up without actually talking to me or confirming with me. I didn't use them for the previous 3 months in a row and thought they would only show up if I called again for service. Well I looked through my emails and sure enough found one email saying they would be coming out and I overlooked this email. I asked the owner for symphony and not charge me and she charged me because she said I was bound by the contract and the email they sent out was a confirmation email for them coming out. So I stopped using them and no other cleaning company I have gone to has made me sign a contract and only show up if I call them so really nice! read more

My roommate and I have used their services a handful (3-5) of times. My roommate has back problems and I have severe allergies so a thorough house cleaning is something best left to the professionals. The women who have came to clean, while seemingly friendly, are not professionals. They do service cleaning and leave areas that are not easily visible quite dusty and dirty. I have to go tidy up and usually finish their job after they've left. My roommate and I have never complained about this though because the women were nice enough and because the job, while not complete or thorough, was tolerable. The most recent time that the women came to clean, the card they had on file for my roommate had expired and my roommate was contacted for new card information after the cleaning had been done. It was then that my roommate realized she was being overcharged by thirty additional minutes. The woman she spoke with also claimed that her employees had visited our home 8 times. So, either they have filing and clerical issues within their office or there is some dishonesty taking place. Either way, we have decided to seek cleaning services elsewhere. read more

This was the first time to get our house cleaned professionally, and we were very excited. My husband originally requested the basic cleaning, but I then edited our request to include deep cleaning of baseboards, oven, fridge, etc. I also asked for our vacuum to be used instead of theirs. I was so disappointed when I came home to find the extra deep cleaning not done, and our vacuum untouched. They claimed they thought the update I made was actually a separate order. They agreed to come back and do the full deep clean and vacuum again. Over a week later they did come back, but they only cleaned the oven and fridge. Again not what was requested. Speaking to them the next day, the woman taking the call sounded like she already knew the full job wasn't done, and was expecting our call. She promptly just deducted the baseboard cleaning from the bill without question, and that was the end of that... Sad this was our first experience with a professional cleaning service. I hope to have a better experience with a different company that will do what we actually agreed to have done. read more

I've used these people a few times to clean my house and they usually do a pretty good job. The last time though I booked for an hour cleaning and they came in and did an ok job...they always miss a few little things but I just appreciate that someone will do the deep cleaning for me, however they charged me for an hour and a half when I had clearly made it for an hour with the lady on the phone and also have a voicemail of her confirming the hour. Also when the ladies came to clean I just asked them to do a few things that they to do but only if they could do it in that time period be it I am on a budget w my money and time. They did the cleaning and then the next day called cuz my card of file had expired and said they were charging me $120 for an hour and half...I said I had only asked for an hour and they said insisted they were there from 2:30-4 when they hadn't even called me til 2:48 and wernt even scheduled to come til 3....shady. When I pointed it out they said they would call me back and they called the next day and said they were there an hour and fifteen minutes and I needed to pay for that. I just went ahead and paid since somehow 15 minutes that I didn't even ask for and I'm pretty sure they didn't even do made it 90.50?? I'm never using them again... And if they would of had my card they would of just charged $120 and not even said anything. So watch out for that...otherwise they do an ok job if you're down for getting overcharged. We never worry about having them in our office unattended and we have sensitive documents in our office at all times. We recently used their service to prep for an open house. When on the phone making the quote, it was clearly stated to me that it would be $37/hr for the cleaning and anywhere for 2.5-3 hours. No mention of any other charges. I think great! I can get this done under $100. When I got home, they had done a decent job. Nothing that overly wowed up but decent. I was happy until I got charged $203. When I called, the lady on the phone told me that it was $37/hr PER GIRL! Something that was clearly not noted when quoting me. I would not have paid $74/hr for a decent cleaning job. I told her I that was not how it was explained and she told me I must have misunderstood. No I understood that what you told me was different than what occurred. Be VERY clear in your quote and ensure you know what you will be charged. I will not use them again. read more

I won't be calling them again. The ladies that came to clean after our renters moved out were very, very nice and prompt. Seemed professional. However, after 3.5 hours, I feel like only about half of the things we needed done were done well. No windowsills were dusted at all (there was a piece of chewed gum still left on one from the previous renters), only about 1/3 of the cabinets and drawers wiped out, the faces of all the cabinets in the kitchen were still dirty, still a good amount of grime in the corners of the bathroom tile, and I'm not sure any of the baseboards were hand-wiped as they said they'd be for a move-in/out cleaning. They did send another crew later that day to do more, but I still ended up cleaning for a few hours the next day to get things the way I expected them to be. Not worth $284 by any means (they didn't apply the coupon they said they would either)... I'll probably just clean it myself next time we switch renters or find a new cleaning service. read more

I wish I would have had the best experience because I really love their intentions and mission. However, I paid for my already clean house to have a "deep clean". The quality was average. The worst part of this was hearing my bathroom cabinet door open/close while they were cleaning and then never finding my favorite (expensive) necklace again. I can't prove it was there (I don't take photos of my hiding places In bathroom cabinets) but I am pretty darn certain it disappeared with the cleaners when they (very quickly and abruptly) left when they were finished "deep cleaning". read more

I've been having 2GC clean my home (two different houses now) for almost 5 years, and I'm a total fan. I wouldn't consider anyone else! The only reason I'm giving four rather than five stars is that, with changes in personnel, some things can get missed. But 2GC asks for feedback every time they clean, and they ACT ON IT the next time. The have always been responsive if there's been anything less than acceptable (and, once in a rare while there is). I appreciate the values that drive this business and the commitment to customer satisfaction. This is a classy operation, and local. Give 2GC a chance and you'll end up as a fan as well. read more
