This companys owner Don Semora talks a good game about ethics,but doesnt follow through. His company 2Moon Press published my book with errors and then when he promised to take care of it in within 2 weeks never followed through now 2 months later. Just making a few observations: the two 5-star reviews posted for this business are clearly by the business owner or one of his employees. How else would Mike L know Sandy M's last name? Sandy did not offer her last name in connection to her post, but oddly Mike L seems to know that it is "Millberger." Additionally, it is clear Mike L is not simply a satisfied customer but rather someone who works for the owner given that he seems to know how many books Sandy ordered. Now perhaps Mike L isn't trying to hide the fact that he is a company employee, but given that posture, it is interesting that rather than actually respond to Sandy M's specific critiques about the poor quality of 2 Moon's craftsmanship, instead he dodges the specific critiques and instead launches a series of ad hominem attacks against Sandy M's alleged conduct. Besides these basic logical fallacies that anyone in a grade school level logic class could easily spot, Mike L leaves the reader thinking that perhaps Sandy M had legitimate reasons for not paying the remainder of the balance on her books. After all, why should she, given that her books were filled with egregious errors? And one final observation, which I have to say gives me quite a chuckle. Assuming that both Mike L and Ken D are the business owner or a loyal employee, which as I have elucidated based on the evidence from their posts alone, 2 Moon clearly must not be very good at editing. Mike L states, "Didn't you NOT pay for 400 books..." Nice double negative! Or Ken D's comment, "Not to mention this companies community involvement and support." Uh, shouldn't that be "company's" rather than "companies"? (Answer: Yes). And nice self-serving praise. Does 2 Moon also help little old ladies across the street in addition to its community involvement and support? Although, if 2 Moon actually did professional, good quality work, then this thread would not be nearly as entertaining to read (not Dennis and Sandy's posts of course. William Middleton Children Books, Ipublished with 2 Moon Press in 2010 and again in 2012, they printed the books on time however they never followed through with any other commitments they were oblgated to do, they did place my books on Amazon and were sold all over the world, however I never received any royalities or monies for my books.Amazon will not talk to me and claims their commitment is to the publisher[now out of business] how can I stop Amazon from sellpng my books read more

I received my book the week before my 9 month planned book launch commemorating the first anniversary of the death of my sister in which the book's story is about. To my horror he printed the books with the wrong cover on them; there are blank pages throughout; the table of content numbers are off from Chapter 5 through 33. There are justification errors everywhere leaving the manuscript to look as if whole words are missing. Over 50 errors were flagged and presented to Don who simply replied that it wasn't that bad if I really looked at it and no comment ever has been made about the heartbreak of putting my book in the wrong cover. I was under contract to my book launch location so begrudgingly I took the book advancement, but have refused to pay until we get before a judge who can see not only the end results but also note the terrible journey of Don not meeting any of the deadlines he was obligated to. To date I am refusing to pay any more than the $800 paid for the pkg and Don is trying to construe some Fraud or Larceny charges against me for the cost of the books he advanced me rather than handle this as an up-standing business person. I tried to be understanding as Don went through editor and staff changes and location moves etc. I sincerely did not want to bring him grief of damage to his promising business, but he took my opportunity of a life time and turning my mission of getting this beautiful story out into a nightmare. He is not an honest person and has no dignity and no one should go forward in business with him without being warned. read more

When my book finally came in from 2 Moon Press 3 months later than promised, It was filled with grammatical errors and misspellings. I corrected their poor editing in the editing phase and signed off on the editing with my original edited manuscript which had no errors. I assumed it was corrected and so during layout phase I was looking at the layout and not the poor editing. They would not reprint the books but said they would correct their own errors. Well of course. OfficeMax did that for free after I fired 2 Moon Press as my publisher. 2 Moon has yet to remove my book from Amazon.com or their website even though I have asked them to repeatedly. I have moved forward with my book with a new publisher. Please do your homework before choosing a publisher. Don't be fooled by a lot of promises. If you are self publishing, there are a lot of things you can do yourself. There are cool blogs out there that go step by step on what to do. Createspace.com is a good place to start. This has been an EXPENSIVE and stressful learning lesson. I would post 0 stars but that isn't an option. read more

They are not very professional. They tell make their authors promises and do not keep them. They purposely avoid phone calls, emails and when you confront them about not having your book orders, answers to your questions,etc, YOU"RE the bad guy. The owner lies to his clients about when book orders were placed, when they will be in and constantly blames the tardiness for book deliveries on the binders. All they care about is sucking you dry for money and not delivering what they promised you in your contract. A few of you will be lucky and have an easy experience, barring you don't have any issues and complain. The owner is dishonest and very unorganized and you will be left hanging to get what you paid for. Very few authors have been satisfied at 2 Moon. Be Ware authors. Go some place else. I will save you much money, time and frustration. read more
