The moment I inquired about availability, Chelsea the property manager was there to answer all of my 500 emails (sorry Chelsea!) and she found my the perfect unit, terrace and all. Dee the resident manager is my dog's favorite person in the building and is always around to help out, with a dog treat in hand. The front desk personnel are amazing too (kudos to Chip!), always a hello or good morning when you get off the elevator and when you return to the building it's always a "welcome home". They are so accommodating and always willing to help or answer a question. The building itself is immaculate, the gym is divided into separate sections for cardio, weights, machines, yoga and extremely clean. The free cup of coffee is a nice perk too! My fellow residents whether human or canine are extremely friendly too :) I couldn't be happier!

The floors are always beautiful and the coin op laundry rooms are also always cleaned and appliances updated as necessary. Hadley is also very quick to clear sidewalks during the winter and also mow and plant in the spring and summer. They have been around forever and their experience shows!

The amenities are brilliant from the gym, library, and game room to the package collection, trash, and door bell systems. Our apartment was clean, had a lovely view, high ceilings, brand new kitchen, great built-in heating/cooling system, etc. Additionally, the management made our move-in and move-out extremely quick and easy. If there was ever a light-bulb that needed changing or any other maintenance issue, it was dealt with almost immediately. If we're ever in New Haven again, we will definitely be back.

She was very knowledgable and exceedingly patient as I decided between places and eventually between units. The building itself is stunning and clean. The woman who I have seen most mornings cleaning is always so kind and smiling. There is an amazing club room and gym and I cannot wait until I can grill and read outside. The building is very secure and I like its location- not only is it walking distance from my job but it is near multiple restaurants/ bars. Cannot recommend this building enough!

She never pushed us to make a decision too quickly, tried to convince us that we needed something more expensive than our range, or tried to brush away our concerns in favor of trying to close a deal. In fact, Melanie's knowledge and attention to detail caught red flags in properties that we never would have known to look for, saving us wasted time or even major headaches had we moved forward with those properties! Melanie is extremely detail-oriented and frequently was reaching out with properties she thought were a good fit (and they genuinely were properties that met our specific requirements -- not some general email blast). She is also extremely responsive and very fast at setting up showings, which is so crucial in such a fast-paced market. When we finally found "the one", Melanie worked tirelessly to make sure we closed quickly and on time. She even helped us negotiate with the seller after the inspection to put some money back in our pockets. She really didn't have to do that, as she knew the deal was going to go through regardless. But she genuinely went above and beyond what she had to do, and for that we are so grateful. In fact, we raved about Melanie so much that the owner of the condo we were renting hired her to sell the condo after we moved out (it closed in less than two months!!)

The minute I walked into CA White, I was greeted with sincerity and professionalism. Linda is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She's fair, kind, and has always been responsive. I looked at one of their luxury 2 bedrooms earlier, which was beautiful, but I was looking for something a little more modest. I ended up signing onto an apartment at 84 Howe St (Campus View), and while it's an old building, it's well maintained, really fairly priced, and located in a safe area and convenient distance from Yale. I really recommend renting through CA White!
