truly we went in with high hopes, the amazing lady at the front, was truly great but the two gentleman that did service us and was truly rude the whole time ruined the experience. Not happy at all. They always charge different prices. I was charged for a fill and gel, which is fine. The $3 for a matte top coat made sense too. I've been going there for months and they have never charge me to make them a little shorter got charged $3 for that this last time and had a charge of $10 for nail art... I got black nails no nail art at all. I feel like they take advantage of their customers and charge what ever they feel like. They also do not get as close to the cuticle with the polish or acrylic. Very in consistent work. I got home and painted around my tips to make it look better. I will never go there again. read more

I showed the nail tech what I wanted. Did not expect it to be exact as you have to give room for artistic interpretation. After he finished the base color, he said, "It's not going to look like the picture," and I said ok because I'm not super picky. It was a very basic black background color with dots for white flower petals and a yellow dot in the middle. Maybe 3 flowers. I swear to God it looked like a 6 year old did it. I was shocked and a bit mad. I was truly embarrassed to wear it and later removed it. Of note: there was an older lady beside me who kept telling HER tech that she did not want the spa treatment and just her nail color done. I think she wasn't that used to standing up for herself because she let him run the water and soaked her feet. When he started to cheese-grater her heels, she repeated that she didn't want that done and because he didn't speak English apparently, he just smiled, patted her feet and kept doing it. You could see she hated it. A really terrible experience. Absolutely will never return. read more

I had gel applied over my real nails. One day later, the first one broke. Two days later, another broke. A few days after that, the third nail was about to break. I went into the salon and spoke to some woman who was very rude and said basically - 'too bad' no guarantees. I will NEVER go there again - Horrible experience. My 13 year old niece and I stopped in for the first time about 4 weeks ago. She was getting ready for a school dance and had a full nail set with polish. She is a nail biter so had no nails and was ecstatic with the results. The nails looked natural on her small hands and the technician cut them back to a length that was functional for her. She did a beautiful job. I had a shellac French manicure which was beautifully done. Almost 4 weeks later there is no pealing and the only reason I need to go hack for another is due to the new growth of my nails. I must add these nails have taken a beating since spring came late and I am an avid gardener. They have been scrubbed several times with a very rough nail brush to remove dirt from underneath and around the cuticle, yet the polish shows no signs of abuse. As far as the atmosphere, they were nice enough. I'm not one for conversation or small talk when I want to relax so totally enjoyed my visit. My niece and I will definitely be going back. read more

I have been going to Nails 2000 on and off for about 3 years. I am in the beauty industry myself and the one major thing this place lacks is customer service. This is why I stopped going the first time. I decided to give it another chance because there are a few good nail techs there and lets face it, it's nice to get in and out. About a week ago I went in the evening about 90 minutes prior to them closing. When I walked in I was pretty much told to sign in and ignored (nothing new; so I went with it); the tech I had who was dressed in Victoria's Secret Street clothes was drilling my nails and bending my fingers to the point she was hurting me. At first I didn't say anything but finally after the 3rd time I spoke out in anger and informed me she was hurting me! She was trying to get me finished in a hurry because she was too busy talking to her co worker rather then paying attention to what she was doing. They really should also think about uniforms or dress code because in my opinion their customer service and experience is horrendous. I gave the tech encouragement and a good tip; however, I won't be returning ever again. There's a lot of other places I can give my money too. read more

Horrible! I felt like I was interrupting the girl who was doing my nails. When I walked in she was laying in the pedicure chair watching a soap opera. She did not ask me what I wanted or cared what I wanted. When I asked her to make my nails even she said they were even. She was clearly annoyed with me the entire time. Went here to get a full set of nails done for a nice evening out with my husband. The girl who did my nails was very unprofessional and did not know what she was doing! She literally drilled my cuticles off. Right now they are red and swollen. The length of my nails are so short that you can see the tip of my finger over them. When I asked her to fix them she got an attitude and said she would have to start over but was only going to fix one nail. When I told her I was not paying full price her attitude escalated and she threw the money that I did pay her and accused me of not having the money in the first place. After my nails were drying you could see the blood and I tried to show her I was not exaggerating she stormed into the back room. I left and called for a manager the next day and all he could say was that he was not giving me my money back which I made clear I did not want and said that I would still have to pay to get them off. Horrible horrible people skills and will not recommend to anyone. Maybe you will have better service! read more
