I had a great experience here! It's not a super extravagant or fancy spot, but that's not something I personally mind. I believe the woman working on my service me was new, so it took a lot longer than expected for a pedi and full set, and I did have to ask for some changes. However, she was very kind and open about it. I've had problems speaking up at salons due to reactions of the workers, but the woman was very kind and even apologetic! The owner was also such a kind woman, and very helpful! My partner and I came for our anniversary and we were the only two in the whole place. Pricing was pretty average/on the expensive side. One star for this place and I would give it zero if I could. I had to go in today to let them know (which I did at the time too but didn't realize how severe it was til I got home). The woman who did my mani/pedi not only took a long time (over 2 hours) but she skinned me pretty much. She was so rough with the nail file and I'm pretty sure she took off more skin then nails. I don't know why she had to be so rough but I told her twice after I grimaced through most of the mani/pedi. She did apologize but they didn't want to do anything really about it. And honestly a refund was the least they could do. My fingers hurt so bad I can't do anything with that hand comfortably right now. And this is about 3 days later I still . I had debated going in but I've never had this happen. And honestly she needs to know not to be so rough in the future. The low rating is also for the manager getting pissy at me for wanting a refund and not apologizing himself. He said that sometimes nails get stuck and then also said he didn't know what I did for a couple days? She was really rough, which I even told her. Like what am I going to do right under my nails in that time frame? Please.... I will not return here. Which is a bummer because the prices were reasonable, but coming home with cuts is not okay. Also I felt there was bits of detail missing (I did dip and at my cuticles they are really uneven). With the pampered manicure, she also spent less than 2 minutes massaging my arms. read more

The best nail salon in Vancouver. I didn't have an appointment and I was welcomed right as I got in, walk ins and appointments are available. The nail salon was highly clean, and many parking spots available. The service is wonderful, better than any nail salons nearby. The nail tech who did my nail is the owner herself, Holly. She's very nice and made sure I was comfortable while she did my nails. I also got a pedicure as well, and she included a massage which was very relaxing and well needed. The reviews are accurate. Came here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. My nail technician - I believe the owner - took her time doing both my pedicure and manicure. She used hot stones on my legs for the massage, I've never had that at any other standard nail salon. And she was meticulous with every layer of nail polish. I needed to get my nails done before work and didnt feel like going back into Portland. I had a full set of acrylics on and a broken nail. I didnt catch her name but the nail tech did an amazing job removing my acrylics without damaging my nails. She was so gentle and really took her time making sure my natural nail was in good shape before she started my gel manicure. Then she gave me a perfect classic French manicure. My powder dip manicure was very low quality and lasted only a few days instead of the usual 2-3 weeks. First, he filed down my natural nails with the dreamer until they were paper thin - I understand a little filing/drilling is necessary, but he WAY overdid it. He also did not push back or trim my cuticles at all, which kind of takes away from the manicure experience and also caused my nails to look grown out after only a couple days. The nails themselves were much thicker and uneven looking than I've ever experience with a powder dip. Last and least, I had different nails chip on days 3, 5 and 6. What!!! Granted I'm not the most graceful and ladylike person, but I've NEVER had that happen with 7 different powder dip manicures from 2 other salons, worn for up to 4 weeks! Will not be back. read more

I just found this gem based on the Yelp reviews. It's a small, family operated salon which is nice to not have a crazy, busy environment if you want to relax. They have the paraffin wax and hot stone included in the $25 pedicure! They are so detailed and did a great job! Since they are so detailed, they do move at a slow pace and there's only 2 people working, so I'd recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to relax and not if you're in a hurry. read more
