Our driver Cos was the most excellent driver! Extremely professional, friendly, very interesting to talk to. He drove through the City very carefully and was absolutely on time for our pickup and drop-off at Heathrow. It was my first visit to the UK and he was quite interesting to talk to and I really enjoyed having him answer my many questions and comments! The car was beautiful, clean and comfortable and drove like a dream. The company prides itself on its timeliness, courtesy and safety in thick London traffic and it shows. We loved the conversation, but the company & drivers make it known that if you'd prefer quiet that's absolutely fine. Either way you'll enjoy the ride. We couldn't be happier with Cos and the company and hope he is our driver when we return! read more

Enough is enough. I have been using these guys for over 4 years and use them for at least 10 return journeys a year, so. Overall though the service has been average at best, but I was willing to take that because they were slightly cheaper than the others. But in the past they've left me standing in airports for up to an hour (multiple times), made me take a 3 hour trip home when the quicker, but longer route would have taken 1 hour (multiple times), charged me extra for asking to get home sooner by taking the M25, and on one occasion left us stranded at an airport for 4 hours without a word. But the icing on the cake was today. I got on my flight in Costa Rica and just as we were about to takeoff they said we'd be directed to another airport in South America, meaning I'd get to my final destination late. 247 said it's their policy to charge for a less that 3 hour notice cancellation but for me that was impossible, I was in the air 12 hours before and only found out about the delay when on the plane and with no connection. So they decided to charge me full price for the original trip (I was willing to pay a reasonable amount) and then the full price for the second trip when I finally got home. There was no loyalty, no appreciation for my issues and no willingness to compromise, or help me. My journey home would have cost £150 instead of £75. As I said I was willing to do ale a bit, but to be ripped off like that was not good enough. So I'm done. It's over. I decided to use another company for my second trip. I'd advise you to avoid at all costs. I used them a lot so probably know more that many on this site what they are like. read more

I needed an early pick up to get to the airport by 5.30am. I was able to book on-line easily, including knowing the cost, as was able to do the at approx 9.00pm for a 4.40am pick up the next morning. My reservation was confirmed straight away. Constantin was my driver and he was there on time, the car was very clean and he was very polite and courteous. Reliable and great service. read more

Beware of wait time fees!! We had booked this service for a ride from the airport to the hotel. However we were delayed at immigration. I called the customer service multiple times to let them know that we were running late. Instead of dispatching a driver later they made him wait at the airport and then slapped us with a wait fee. The customer service guy who told us that we would be charged with the late fee was downright rude and obnoxious. Our driver was great and tried to make up for his companies lack of communication. As consumers we need to aware of all fees so no one is surprised or frankly in our case shocked! read more

Booked a transfer for my daughter who is studying in London and had extra baggage. She had a last minute change in flight schedule and we were able to confirm the change with their online chat service. The driver was not there when she arrived through customs but we were able to get immediate response with their online chat service and she connected with the driver within 10 minutes. Really a superstar taxi company. Reliable, professional and affordable. We got picked from our doorstep(E3) at 0445 to be taken to Heathrow airport for our 0710 flight. The driver came right on time in his clean taxi to fetch us and with minimal trouble finding our address. We prepaid the service for £39 as quoted and got reduced to £36 after my husband open an account with them for his regular airport transports. No more worries in getting to the airport at wee hours. I was visiting my girlfriend during her internship in London and the driver I had take me back from the airport was extremely polite and a safe driver! My driver was Mr. Kiss, I believe his driver ID was CIBI and he is the reason I'm writing this review. He was there a little early but didn't have a problem waiting. He was a pleasure to talk to on the way to the airport, got me to the airport on time, and was a great guy all around. Thank you for the service! Awful experience. My sons and I had booked a car to Gatwick. The car didn't show up. After waiting 10 minutes I phoned the office and was told that a replacement car was arriving "right now" - but it still had not arrived 15 minutes later. I phoned again and was shouted at by the person at the office for my troubles. I was also told that I would only receive a £3 discount for the mess up because the replacement car cost £3 less! It still didn't arrive so we had to book an expensive Uber otherwise would have missed our flight. I contacted 247airport transfer to ask for the refund of £3 and for them to pay the difference in price of the Uber. They refused to pay the £3 refund, even though they had promised it to me and had a recording of the phone conversation where it was agreed! Refused £3!! Unreliable service. Awful customer service. Refusing to honour agreements. Left us standing in the cold for 30 minutes in the early morning. Would have missed our flight. I will never use this company again. read more

Avoid this company! Their taxi was more than 25 minutes late. Meanwhile, they kept telling me on the phone that the driver would be there 'any minute'. The driver wasn't able to find our street (no phone/gps/google maps?!) - we had to walk a couple of blocks in the rain with our luggage just to get to the car. Better to pay a few bucks extra for a punctual service than use the cheap "247 airport transfer" again. I could have easily missed the flight. read more

I've had a nightmare trying to identify reliable taxi and airport transfer companies in the past, so it was with a little trepidation that I booked a transfer with 24/7 Airport Transfer. I needed to be picked up from my flat in North London at 7am on a Friday morning, to make a flight from Luton later that morning. I booked online the evening before. The company's website is somewhat clunky to use, but I managed to book and pay by credit card online. I received email and SMS booking confirmations soon after. The next morning, I believe I received another text message confirming that the car was on the way. Then a few minutes before 7am, I received a polite, apologetic call to say the driver was running late. He then turned up at 7.15am. That hiccup aside, the driver was friendly, safe and helpful and the car was clean and comfy. I made it to Luton in plenty of time for my flight, so was happy with the service overall. The late arrival was irritating, but the good communication was appreciated. I've used many minicab firms who wouldn't even bother calling -- and who might not even turn up at all! read more

Do not use this company in a million years. We booked a taxi for a flight landing at 22.45. When the driver was not there to meet us, we phoned the company to find out where he was. They said he would arrive at 23.15. The driver didn't turn up until 23.40, by which time the airport had closed for the night and we had had to go and stand on the pavement. The office staff at 247 Airport Transfer were extremely rude, saying that they would only give us an £11 discount because we had no choice but to use them now that the airport had closed and there were no more taxis available. 247 Airport Transfer are very assiduous about charging customers extra if their flight is delayed and the driver is left waiting for them, but if the driver is late, they couldn't care less. If you have a choice between using this company or hopping on one leg to your destination, choose the latter option - you'll get there faster. read more

Excellent experience in April 2015 with this company. Good communication at London Heathrow via text messages. Pick up on time and driver (Aqell Raja) very courteous with a relatively new four-door car with plently of space for passengers and luggage. Highly recommended if trying to transfer to King's Cross Station with luggage; the tube with luggage is a nightmare. read more

Horrendous service. Prebooked, prepaid taxi doesn't arrive and when I call and query about the car which hasn't arrived and request a new taxi as promptly as possible the reply of the lady on the phone is 'yeah yeah yeah'. A man in the background confirms 'I've found the booking'. No apology, and rude service- I am appalled! Absolutely disgraceful, I will never book with this company again and recommend no one else does either. Still waiting for a new taxi to arrive - hopefully we will not miss our flight, it's been 15 minutes since the original taxi was meant to arrive! read more

I booked 247 Airport Transfer via their website. I requested an estate size vehicle b/c we had 4 people + luggage. They called us in the US the day before to confirm the reservation. Our flight was about 30 mins late but the driver waited without any issues. The driver met us in the international arrival terminal just outside of customs. They picked us up with a Ford Galaxy and the driver took us right to our hotel in South Kensington for the agreed price. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend 247 Airport Transfer service. read more

About 2 months before making our 1st trip to London, I booked with City Cruiseline's Showboat and Dinner cruise on the Thames for the evening of May 30, 2015. I then booked a taxi on 3/3/2015 with 24/7 to pick us up on the evening of 5/30/2015 at 23:15 (11:15 PM). After making a payment of 34 lbs (about $51 US), I received an email confirming that the 24/7 driver would have a sign with our name, and would pick us up at 2315 where taxis await passengers at the "Victoria Embankment, Westminster Pier". After our excellent cruise on 5/30, our boat docked at Westminster Pier at about 22:50 and walked to the Victoria Embankment area where several of our fellow passengers were picked up by taxis between 23:00 and 23:30. We never saw any driver from 24/7 much less anyone holding a sign with our name during this time or thereafter. We waited until 23:45 without any contact from 24/7; we then attempted to hail any taxi driving by until we finally got a black cab to stop at 23:50 or so and take us to our hotel at a cost of 60 lbs (about $90 US). 24/7 claims a driver was present to give us a ride, but they have never given the exact location of that supposed driver plus they have refused to respond to my latest emails and have not refunded my prepayment to them. Don't book with this company. read more
