Love love. Such a cute decorated place and great staff! Came for a birthday celebration and the staff took care of us from start to finish. We tried so much food and everyone was more than satisfied. Definitely suggest their garlic cheese bread, house salad, steak and frites dishes.

A must visit brunch place not too far from the beach. Beautiful indoor and outdoor space to eat and hang. The restaurant gets busy and the service is superb. Big menu with plenty of options. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options.

Came to 26 Beach restaurant for a friend Galentine's event we were seated in a private area for a group of 10. The ambience nice for a girls brunch. The musical was pretty calming. The waiter was attentive. Our food was fresh and good. I ordered the black sheep burger with fries an easy Meal choice to go for. Friends also had a different burger and salad and another had a sandwich but overall the food options are diverse and gives you a variety to choose from also in my party they had alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant. I went on a Sunday when there was free street parking.

10/1/25 I came here with my coworkers for dinner and it was such a great experience. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans along with a lychee martini. Everything was absolutely fantastic. We shared cheesy toasted bread and Brussels sprouts as appetizers and they were just as delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the ambience was beautiful. The decor felt like something out of a movie, very enchanting and thoughtfully done. I would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.

26 Beach is a really fun and an eclectic place to have a nice meal, you could almost call it Bohemian, but the food quality is very good so that alone makes it worth a visit. I have been for dinner a few times, but stopped in for my first time for brunch this past weekend and had a great meal. We were a party of two arriving around 10 AM on Saturday. We did not have to wait at all to be seated and service the entire meal was very fast. There is a free parking lot directly behind the restaurant, the entrance is a very narrow alley directly to the right of the front door of the restaurant. Just go down that and behind the restaurant you will see at least 6-8 spaces. We started off our meal with a couple of iced lattes and thought they were very good. We ordered with French vanilla and it was honestly really nice. For my breakfast I chose the Baja Benedict and really enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion, so I was certainly not hungry at all after finishing it. Others at our table or the French Toast and they were hit as well. I would definitely recommend this place and being that I live very close by I will be back again in the near future.

Stopped by for a Saturday brunch. Street parking was not difficult although it's off of Washington which is a fairly busy street. They were quick to seat us, we had no wait. The service was warm and friendly. I got a coffee (meh) and the salmon royale (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cream cheese, asparagus, olives over a bed of brown rice). My fiance got a chai latte and the crab royale. I was pretty satisfied with my meal, pretty filling with good amounts of salmon. I think the flavors worked well if you are into olives and smoked salmon. Coffee could have been better- seems like the cocktails are popular looking around. The vibe inside is bright, colorful, definitely feels very "LA"!

My daughter took me out to lunch, today. We went to The Yard house but the wait was too long so we left and my daughter found this place. We got there and were seated right away. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan con Linguine with a house salad and my daughter ordered the Gobbler. The food was excellent and the portions were a nice size. The setting was outdoor, homely like. I recommend this place. You will be happy that you tried it. We plan to go back.

March 22, 2025 | Venice: What a fun restaurant with delicious food, including huge portions, & all-around eclectic vibes! It's an exciting visit each and every time! Smoked Salmon Royal : Absolutely delicious, full of flavor! Salmon slices are plentiful throughout as well! It's easily one of my favorite scrambles/omelettes!! Yum! French Toast: Guava-stuffed & topped with bananas! Delicious! The bread is both thick and fluffy! Each French toast dish I've tried here has been delicious, some sweeter than others, my favorite being the decadent savory ones! Yum!! Decor: Fun, eclectic & upbeat! In the midst of a pink rose-adorned mirror, a soothing fountain filled with pink roses, fun painted graphics on the wall, including framed photos, you can't help but smile! The energy is definitely fun here! Crowd | Vibe: Mixed! While introducing a friend to this restaurant, we were surrounded by a huge excitable party at a long table w/cheetah print seats & gifts in hand, couples, as well as girls & guys who brunch! I've introduced several friends to this place! I highly recommend this reservations! Grateful: When we first arrived, only seating inside was available, which is just as stylish and gorgeous! While looking at the menu, I inquired about the patio and our super sweet server returned to the table minutes later and let us know that a table was now available! I was incredibly grateful and excited, as outside is a whole vibe! Overall: Yes, please! What a delicious way to brunch! I'm excited by the delicious food, upbeat surroundings, and friendly customer service from start to finish! I'm always excited to die in here, thanks again!!

Hadn't been here in a minute. With the outdoor covered area and chance to imbibe in some bottomless mimosas, we thought brunch sounded like it would be chill here on a Sunday. It was. A bit too much. Service was slow. The vibe was so stale. And when our lemon ricotta french toast came out with a cook's hair... we were glad that at least we had gotten to divulge in some delish drinks and the Diablo Royal that came overs bed of brown rice. Yum! The waiter brought us another replacement plate so they can charge us but yah... it wasn't overall what we remembered it to be back in the day. Outdated furniture, Christmas tee and decorations still hanging around trying to get our attention that the new year hadn't begun yet. Our waiter was lovely, attentive and professional about the whole hair situation. She was clearly overworked though. All the stars go to her and her amazing attitude despite it all!! Parking is horrid so not a huge incentive either on the giant blvd down the street from the beach. Oh well..... we made the most of it but we likely won't be back.

The vibe is cozy and quirky, and the food is consistently amazing. I had the apple cinnamon Frw's h toast which was made with a croissant -super creative and packed with flavor but not for me. The scrambles are good and the drinks are good. Service is always friendly, and the portions are generous. Definitely a go-to spot for brunch and a cute vibe. Highly recommend! I've been here a few times and street parking is always annoying and realized they have a little back lot to park in for next time.

I just had my birthday lunch at 26 Beach using my birthday coupon that they sent me for a free burger and fries. I had the Black Sheep burger. It was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfection. I signed up for the birthday club a while back and forgot about it so I was surprised to see this coupon in my email. I recommend everybody sign up for the birthday club. You have to use the coupon for the free Black Sheep burger and french fries on the day of your birthday, but why wouldn't you! The burger was quite filling and had all the bells and whistles. It was savory delicious. The pickles were crisp. The onion was perfect. The lettuce was fresh and I was absolutely perfection. My friend ordered brussels sprouts which were also roasted to perfection. She almost ordered a second serving. They were so delicious. I highly recommend going here for lunch dinner or a brunch.

TL:dr get in there and be ready for the BEST food. My friends and I always talk about how 26 Beach checks all the boxes. food, the best quality and taste. service, exceptional. ambience perfect, you can sit indoors or on their patio. My wife and Her good friend have been eating at 26 Beach since they opened around 43 years ago. My wife started taking me when we met 30 years ago. We have always enjoyed the most excellent tasting, wonderfully presented food!! We used to live close and regularly visited, and try to do so every time we can since we moved farther away. Francis has always had a wonderful staff, who are friendly, attentive and the most efficient of any restaurant I visit. I have had just about everything on the menu and last night Frank and I got in just before they closed and enjoyed the Date Burger and the Fig Burger. Look it up on the menu!! Truly earning the description of a gourmet burger. (Side note: Francis also has a place called Black Sheep Burgers that you should try also. It is a popular spot known for creative, gourmet burgers blending American comfort food with unique twists, including sushi-inspired options like the California Roll Burger. Their diverse menu with high-quality ingredients, caters to various dietary needs with vegan and gluten-free choices, and provide a casual, welcoming atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating.) Now back to last nights excellent dinner. They split the burgers for us in the kitchen and Frank and I had 1/2 of each burger. The sweet potato fries and onion rings sealed the deal. I enjoy dipping sweet potato fries in ranch dressing or barbecue sauce. They offer both so I change it up every couple bites. Now, let me tell you about the chocolate cake. This chocolate cake is always in my dreams; both daydreams and while sleeping. My wife and I chose this cake to be our wedding cake 23 years ago! It is that delicious and decadent!! I was so full after the burger and fries and onion rings that I knew I was taking it home. It never disappoints. EVER!! It is so wonderful to confidently know what you want to eat before you even get there! My wife pretty much always has the ginger salmon salad. We always buy the dressing to take home, you should try it!! Thank you, Francis for all of these wonderful years of epicurean delight! -- I should've taken a picture of the burger last night, but here is a picture of my ginger salmon salad. I enjoyed last week.

Ask the Community - 26 Beach Restaurant

Do they have anything vegan for brunch or lunch?

I know they have a mushroom burger (which you can ask to hold the mayo), and a curry veggie burner, but that's all I've seen.

How is parking during brunch hours? Valet? Street? Parking structure?

Parking is not ideal - not gonna lie. It's street parking most of the time but I do think they sometimes do have valet... May have changed during Covid. I live close so I just walk. May want to just call them to double check.

    Do you check vaccine status?

    Yep.

    Does it have outdoor dining?

Well, sort of. It is in a large patio, but the patio is covered. It is outside, but not really. It is a great place and I think you will like it. Sometimes they do have sidewalk seating but I did not see that last time I was there.

Are dogs allowed in the garden- not on the street? Thanks!

Do you serve bottomless mimosas for brunch?

    Yes

Are you open for dine in now?

    Yes

Does this place have bottomless mimosas?

    Yes! $15 per person

    Do they have high chairs?

    Yes!

Will there be bottomless mimosas on Monday, which is a holiday?

Nope! I went on a Monday that happened to be a holiday and they said no Bottomless Mimosas because of the holiday.

Hi, what is the maximum occupancy?

In the whole place? Under 100 I would guess. We sat at a huge long table and had 15 in our party

    Is there a kid's menu?

I highly doubt it. Not really that kind of place but the people are very nice. Maybe ask for half portion or an xtra plate?

Are there any gluten free options on the lunch menu?

There are so many options, it would be easy to build your own GF selections. http://www.26beach.com/menu.html

Is breakfast/brunch items served all day?

I believe breakfast is served till 3p.

    Do you serve Endless mimosas?

Yes we have Bottomless mimosas Mondays through Fridays from 8am-11am

Is there bottomless mimosas on the weekends?

    Nope

Trying to locate some local spots to take my dog to. Is this Pet friendly?

There are some specific spots outside where your dog can be even if they are not service dogs.

We didn't know we would need reservations for the patio so we had to sit inside.. it was still lovely. My friend and I both got the chorizo breakfast burrito. It did NOT come with the pickled onions which we didn't realize until after we left.... The potato's were tater tots which was disappointing. I dont think any one expects tater tots in their burrito when it says "potato's." It was still good. Te salsa was a little spicy but I loved it. Side of avocado was 1/4 of an avocado. Huge burrito with tiny amount of avocado.. Friend got a mimosa and I got a French 75. Yummy Service was ok. They were busy so we didn't see our server much. We will definitely come back for the view alone even just for drinks. Lovely place.

When I reviewed the menu online the menu they offered or should I say had listed had a very wide array of different options to choose from. I was really excited to surprise him here. As we entered there was no staff around so we were just standing there for a while and a line began to form, the restaurant was not busy at all, but the bar was almost full. We were seated and our waiter was the most impersonal waiter ever, he never even said his name, to us. It was like he was a robot. Again to see that the menu was not the same was disappointing, yet our appetizer came out super fast and over all the food was bland and nothing special for the price point, yet it did come out hot, which was a plus. I had asked for the server to sing him happy birthday and for a desert to be brought out and I picked out the desert to add to the bill and he said that he could not do that service, yet before leaving 2 other servers were bringing out deserts and singing happy birthday to 2 other tables. The view was pretty, I'm sure this place is beautiful and wonderful for brunch, but for dinner this is not a place to be for elevated dining. I was better off taking him to SALT for a better dining and food experience.

The vibe is casual and beach chic. All of the food is delicious and this is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The restaurant has very few parking spaces on site. The only downside is that the paid parking is ridiculously expensive. Anywhere from $10 to 15 minutes to an hour, $20 for two hours and the price goes up and up. There is one hour metered parking nearby which isn't very convenient if you have to keep going back to refill the meter. If you're lucky you might find distant street parking that is unpaid. This is nothing against the restaurant, but as Venice as a city in general. High prices like these without any special validation, are sure to keep people from coming to these places at all if you can't afford it. Perhaps that's how Venice would like to keep it. Only people who can afford the parking are allowed to enjoy these businesses.

My server Joshua was super friendly and attentive, appreciated his good energy. These three make a great dream team dream team highlighting high performance and synergy. I first off want to apologize to them for the rudeness they had to face on Friday night. A group of women and a ma or two came to enjoy themselves and had the audacity to state in a rude and disrespectful manner, "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" " I MAKE XXXX AMOUNT OF MONEY AND YOU WILL SERVE ME NOW" attitude. I had never seen this type of behavior in person. I've heard about it but never seen it. That night, I saw it. They felt the need to make a scene, demand to speak to a manager and demanded FASTER than FAST service before anyone else. It was upsetting. No servers deserve to be treated with such disrespect. These ladies were very disrespectful. I did snap a couple of pics of them. Beware!!!! Shewwww them off. They believe they are above everyone. Tomawi gave some great recommendations. We loved the fries, drinks and shrimp. It was my hubbys first time at Whiskey Reds. We request Orange Hill and have gone to the Burbank restaurant's owned by the same company. We definitely loved Tomawi. She was very quick, funny, sweet and thorough. Let's not forget again that Colt was just as awesome. He was busy serving others as well. Now... Marquise Martin..... He is a true leader. He went over and beyond and stepped up and stepped in to make sure his staff were well equipped and assisted during the crazy rush. He didn't just leave them to fail. Even when things were running smoothly, he continued to cheer them on and work as a team with them. This was amazing. I can count on one hand, how many Managers and Supervisors do this. It gave us a great feeling and made us want to come here more and more and spend our money here. This type of management makes restaurants great. The place itself is clean. Delicious food. Clean. Parking is a bit tricky. I got a ticket and it makes no sense why. It said not following posted fishing pictures.
