I have eaten here many times and the brunch menu and lunch dinner items are spectacular. Very few restaurants do all of these things well. They also have a full bar so you can get your old favorites or try one of their new creations. This restaurant actually has a real espresso machine and they make great coffee drinks as well. Came here for a group dinner and it was very empty so I was a bit surprised by that. I ended up getting the katsu California roll burger because I saw all the reviews about it. Unfortunately I thought it was just ok. The other people in my group got the creole pasta, lamb chops and tuna salad. They all seemed to enjoy theirs and the pasta looked really good. A great LA restaurant a lot of people have never heard of. I have had wonderful meals there from an excellent, juicy flavorful burger to exquisite lamb chops to phenomenal breakfasts. Love this place so much! The decor and aesthetics are beautiful, vibrant and fun! They have an indoor and outdoor dining area. They have a parking lot, but it's small. The waiter was attentive. Our food was fresh and good. I ordered the black sheep burger with fries an easy Meal choice to go for. Friends also had a different burger and salad and another had a sandwich but overall the food options are diverse and gives you a variety to choose from also in my party they had alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. 10/1/25 I came here with my coworkers for dinner and it was such a great experience. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans along with a lychee martini. 26 Beach is a really fun and an eclectic place to have a nice meal, you could almost call it Bohemian, but the food quality is very good so that alone makes it worth a visit. I have been for dinner a few times, but stopped in for my first time for brunch this past weekend and had a great meal. We were a party of two arriving around 10 AM on Saturday. We did not have to wait at all to be seated and service the entire meal was very fast. There is a free parking lot directly behind the restaurant, the entrance is a very narrow alley directly to the right of the front door of the restaurant. Just go down that and behind the restaurant you will see at least 6-8 spaces. We started off our meal with a couple of iced lattes and thought they were very good. We ordered with French vanilla and it was honestly really nice. For my breakfast I chose the Baja Benedict and really enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion, so I was certainly not hungry at all after finishing it. Others at our table or the French Toast and they were hit as well. Stopped by for a Saturday brunch. Street parking was not difficult although it's off of Washington which is a fairly busy street. They were quick to seat us, we had no wait. The service was warm and friendly. I got a coffee (meh) and the salmon royale (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cream cheese, asparagus, olives over a bed of brown rice). My fiance got a chai latte and the crab royale. I was pretty satisfied with my meal, pretty filling with good amounts of salmon. I think the flavors worked well if you are into olives and smoked salmon. Coffee could have been better- seems like the cocktails are popular looking around. Hadn't been here in a minute. With the outdoor covered area and chance to imbibe in some bottomless mimosas, we thought brunch sounded like it would be chill here on a Sunday. It was. A bit too much. Service was slow. The vibe was so stale. And when our lemon ricotta french toast came out with a cook's hair... we were glad that at least we had gotten to divulge in some delish drinks and the Diablo Royal that came overs bed of brown rice. Yum! The waiter brought us another replacement plate so they can charge us but yah... it wasn't overall what we remembered it to be back in the day. Outdated furniture, Christmas tee and decorations still hanging around trying to get our attention that the new year hadn't begun yet. I just had my birthday lunch at 26 Beach using my birthday coupon that they sent me for a free burger and fries. I had the Black Sheep burger. It was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfection. I signed up for the birthday club a while back and forgot about it so I was surprised to see this coupon in my email. I recommend everybody sign up for the birthday club. You have to use the coupon for the free Black Sheep burger and french fries on the day of your birthday, but why wouldn't you! The burger was quite filling and had all the bells and whistles. It was savory delicious. The pickles were crisp. The onion was perfect. The lettuce was fresh and I was absolutely perfection. My friend ordered brussels sprouts which were also roasted to perfection. She almost ordered a second serving. They were so delicious. They got rid of my favorite dish - the sunrise fruit salad. The rest of the food we've had is still delicious, just smaller and smaller portions every time we come. The thing that is consistently bad is the service. The last 3 times we've come we've had an issue - bring mischarged, waiting forever for our food, and the last time - which is why we won't ever come back again - our waitress never even put in our order and then disappeared. After waiting for close to an hour, we found someone else to help us. And then they weren't even going to comp anything. Employees are friendly and some of them speak Spanish. Close by the Venice shops and probably to the Venice Beach if you don't mind walking a bit. For my birthday brunch today, we stopped by for the first time at 26 Beach restaurant. It was a perfect spot to have a girly brunch with friends and we were pleasantly surprised with the quirky and fun aesthetic of both the patio and the interior of the restaurant. The menu is pretty vast and a lot of the items are driven to more of a comfort food vibe. But the wide selection there's something for everybody in our group lean more into the brunch items this time around... Call outs were the chicken wings, the French toast, and the salmon salad You look forward to coming back to trying more of the lunch and dinner entree since everything that we saw pass us by and deliver to other tables also look delicious.. which is a good sign and gives us something to look forward to. The only small feedback that I would give is perhaps given the amount of people that were in today, service was a little slow and we had to ask for some things repeatedly. No SUVs allowed or scratch your car at your own risk. There was no wait at 5pm for dinner but it does get crowded here. The service is very welcoming. The staff do their best but it does get really busy here. All the food came out hot and a little wait but not very long. Our party all liked their food. My elderly father in law wears hearing aids and complained about the music coming from the speakers on the outdoor patio. Then they served my teenager's meal 20 minutes before they served my meal or the sides we ordered. The Creole shrimp pasta is a big hit with my staff. The seating is great, with both indoor and covered outdoor areas that are beautifully decorated and give a quaint, cozy vibe.
