When I got home, I only looked at the left side of the fence. The chain link doesn't go all the way to the ground, there's a section with no fence, and there are gaps by the poles and fence. One of the gates had wheels that worked great before the relocation, but they were removed because I was told they didn't work and didn't look good. He said he left them, but I haven't found them, and I'm upset with how the fence looks. I'm the only one who thinks it looks like trash. I have a small Chihuahua dog, and I'm concerned this fence won't keep other dogs out of the yard. The right-hand side is worse than the left. The gate is leaning so badly that the corner is almost on the ground. When you lift the gate, there's a big gap that a skinny person could fit through. Like the other side, the chain link fence doesn't go all the way to the ground. When I confronted him about this, he said the gates weren't built square. They wouldn't be, as they are cattle chain link gates that were bought, which he said makes it look worse. He mentioned that if I can come up with more money, he can put up some swing gates. I said go ahead.. fast forward they finished and sent a bill for 275.50.. more than double their quote.. I never agreed to agree to paying more work than double what they quoted.. they just said it was more work than they thought it would be.. I paid to get it over with and said they needed to pick up the old posts and trash they left in the yard and was told they would do it right away.. I texted him at 10 pm that night and I would stop payment on the check if the posts were not picked up by morning.. so they did go by pick up the posts with that threat.. The final straw was they deposited my check for $275.50 2 times.. once via mobile deposit and then deposited at their bank the next day, and I had to file a claim against the double deposited check at my bank for a check obviously deposited twice of same check number and amount to them.. not an pleasant fence repair experience...
