The bagels are rock hard and the food is basic. Taste like they don't know what they're doing. The space also seems dirty. Every employee is new and doesn't know what's on the menu or how to take the orders. Would leave no stars if I could read more

Food was excellent and so delicious! We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches; the Yucca and the Sausage, on everything bagels and chive cream cheese! They were so good! The staff was very kind and got our food out very quickly! Next time we come back we will definitely be trying the lunch menu or some more breakfast sandwiches! Bagels are good, if you get a fresh one, but there is a very sour girl who works in the am. Very nasty attitude. I avoid this place now because of her. Maybe give her some customer service training . You can defend your replayed but I'm not the only one complaining about her. I guess you don't care about your customers treatment. read more

If I could give it 0 stars i would. They are very unprofessional. I went on a day they were supposed to be opened. And it was locked, they didn't have a note or anything, there was a old man in there and when he saw me trying to open the door he waited till i walked back to my car and went to make sure the door was locked. He didn't say anything. There were other cars too , seeing if he would open but no he just walked back behind the counter. If you don't want money or customers just say you're not open that day on the app or leave a note or something. Wack -5 outta 10, don't recommend. It was a Wednesday at 11am. read more

The set up in the restaurant was really nice and I liked the decor. The girl that took my order was sweet. I ordered the Poki bowl with tuna it looked good but when I brought it home it smelled really fishy and it was not fresh and the rest of the food didn't taste fresh either could not eat it and it was not cheap I was very disappointed. Came in specifically for a bagel. The bagel wasn't bad, but not worth $9 for a bagel w avocado. The staff is very friendly. Note to the owner based on response. I understand the prices are ridiculous but when you can get a bagel for $2 at Dunkin' Donuts, you absolutely cannot charge $9 for a bagel w 3 pieces of avocado! I've been eagerly waiting for this place to open and finally had a chance to eat dinner there. I got the Chicken Pho and it was amazing. This place is a real Gem! I can't wait to go back for breakfast bagels. They also have Boba and can do Hot Boba tea which is SO exciting! There are very few places that can do Hot Boba tea, and absolutely NONE in the high desert. They have a super cute chill area, with comfortable seating and space to set up a laptop and work. Ordered the combo pho and pastrami bagel sandwich and both were delicious! Each came with a drink and the bagel also included a bag of chips. Great to see they have GF bagels in addition to a wide variety of traditional bagels and a few fun pastries. Very nice customer service and the food was ready quickly. As a pho enthusiast from Los Angeles who has spent time in Vietnam, I found the veggie broth here could benefit from more flavor or a bit more resting time, albeit still tasty. The bowls, at $15 each, feels overpriced given their size and the demographic. I understand we live in a tourist community but the regulars will be the bread and butter here. I recommend offering two size options and charging less for the smaller bowl (which was served), and adding a larger- pho traditionally tastes better when served super hot in a large bowl. There are no vegetarian appetizer options on the menu. Although the staff kindly made us spring rolls upon request, which were delicious, it would be more efficient to offer them as a regular item. In a busy setting, custom orders could slow things down for both the kitchen and customers. The space itself also leaves room for improvement. It's large and lacks warmth, feeling more like an empty cafeteria than a cozy pho spot. I understand this was formerly a Chinese buffet, and it still carries that vibe, which could be addressed with some attention to design and atmosphere. Overall I enjoyed my soup and look forward to seeing the menu and space evolve. read more

Vegan, vegan eggrolls, coming soon vegan spring rolls, vegan milk, options for drinks. The drink menu is extensive, including espresso, drinks, milk, tea, Boba, frappe, tea. They have gluten-free bagels. I did ask about vegan cream cheese, but it is not on the menu as of yet. So nice to have another Boba place to order from. Today I got the tarot roots base with oat milk and Boba. I asked for 25% sweetness, but it was still a bit sweet. I think between the oat milk and the taro base that is sweet enough. Next time I will ask for no sweetener. And the woman at the beverage bar were both very kind. I think they are still trying to figure out what to do with such a large space. There are tables and chairs, also comfortable chairs. There is soft music playing. This might be a good option for work from home or study space. I will for sure be returning to 29 Yum read more

Not sure if they make the bagels in house but finally tried it...and not too shabby! Lox bagel was really good. Thats a solid test. Their jalapeño cream cheese had great kick. But the tomatoes were sad on our bagels. We had to add ripe red ones at home, and place is huge and barren. But not NOT going to support a pretty decent bagel place you can regularly go to in the hi desert when coming to town. Hoping they extend menu maybe just a bit. They do need to fill the place so it's atmospherically more welcoming, it was a buffet and it's cavernous, but service was kind and efficient. read more

Compared to the pho bowls in San Diego, they are much smaller here and are more expensive too. Flavor of the broth was ok. It came with a good amount of bean sprouts, cilantro, and basil at least. The shrimp in the spring rolls were pretty small compared to what I am used to. Overall, food was ok but my family and I left feeling a little hungry still. read more

While I'm glad that it's here, I am always a bit disappointed. The first time I came I ordered a breakfast sandwich and at was good. Second time I got a bagel and cream cheese that took about fifteen minutes and was completely way too crunchy I couldn't even eat it. They also forgot my capers I paid extra for. The coffee bar is convenient but unfortunately not as good as Starbucks so I find myself going to both places. Today I came in and tried to order two different cream cheese flavor combinations and they were out of both. With a menu so small they shouldn't be running out of anything, especially on the weekend.
