I intentionally booked several months in advance to secure my event date and selected the 10-12 band member package because I wanted to create a memorable cultural experience for my guests. My performance time was scheduled for 9:30 p.m., and I made it clear from the beginning that this time was not flexible because it was coordinated with the overall flow of the evening. Throughout the planning process, communication was responsive, and I had no concerns leading up to the event. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, I was asked to submit the final payment earlier that day, although we had originally agreed that final payment would be made upon the band's arrival. Later that evening, my MC informed me that Rick had advised the band would not arrive until approximately 11:00 p.m., about 90 minutes after the agreed performance time. By the time the band arrived, many of my guests had already left, which meant they missed the 10-12 member Junkanoo experience I had carefully planned and invested in months in advance. Because my event began at 7:00 p.m., the performance occurred near the end of the evening, significantly impacting the timeline and guest experience that had been discussed and agreed upon beforehand. To their credit, the performers who arrived brought great energy. The female dancer was especially engaging, and the guests who remained thoroughly enjoyed the performance. In fact, some guests who were preparing to leave turned around and came back inside when they saw the band lining up outside. I genuinely appreciate the enthusiasm and entertainment they provided once they arrived. However, for milestone celebrations, weddings, anniversaries, or other events where timing and guest flow are critical, punctuality is just as important as performance quality. In my opinion, a delay of a few minutes is understandable, but a 90-minute delay after an agreed-upon performance time is not. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for events where adherence to a scheduled timeline is an important part of the overall guest experience.

As music lovers, we had assembled a "unique" mix of oldies, 90s, and grimey hip-hop. Eddy seamless grafted a custom mix that had all the booty droppin' low (to the flo). Some of the transitions/drops in his mix were freaking amazing- so much so, that I ran on stage multiple times to give him props. No lie bro. It was like we were at a concert. So rad. After asking the DJ several times to run through the ceremony songs and times with me prior to starting, he answered every time with "I have the Spotify I have the list" to no surprises he completely messed up the brides entrance and then the first dance song which we specifically asked him to cut to a certain part and he played it entirely. To add on to our experience multiple songs on our "must play list" were never played and each time we approached the DJ the response was "we still have 3 hours" it wasn't until the last hour of our party that the DJ decided to tell us he did not have wifi ... this is something we could have easily fixed also something we offered before the beginning of the party. All the DJ seemed to know to say to our guests, bride and groom when they had a request was "I have a contract you signed" a contract that also included specific instructions from the bride and groom of the songs that were essential to be played and he didn't seem to care about that then. Not to mention that at one point he completely stopped the music when switching songs.... the party ended with one of our guests connecting their phones .. quite ridiculous considering the amount of money they charge.
