The customer service here is quite terrible. I keep coming back because the first time I shopped there I got a good bike for my daughter for a really decent price. I keep hoping that one day I'll go in and the person behind the counter won't look at me like I just ruined their day, or if that's not possible, answer my questions and actually help me find what I came for? I've been told to search the information I need to buy a snowboard (length for my height) on Google, denied being allowed to try a bike (where they can see me!) before buying, and most often - waved off in a direction 'over there somewhere' when I've asked where to find a particular item. I keep stopping in because I have that darn coupon for 20% off coupon and am looking for another used adult bike. read more

Got this app simply to tell about my awful experience with the owner. Went in to sell some barely used hockey equipment, having never really played I had no idea what it would be worth. He forced me to give him a starting number which he then told me passive-aggressively was a ridiculous number. I told him I had no idea what it was worth, and just wanted him to tell me what he'd give me. He counted it out and said $100, which was a fair price because it's a bit old, but I was okay with selling it privately if that's all I would get. This is when he got really condescending and kept telling me how worthless my stuff was. I already had no idea what it was worth, and didn't really have any interest in being bullied into selling MY stuff... I'm okay with trying to sell it online if I can get a bit more money, and all he wanted to tell me was how stupid I was for thinking that. For a small business who must be losing business to bigger stores, I couldn't believe how poorly I was treated. I am embarrassed that this store is in my community, and I will NEVER shop here again. read more

This place is mess, the prices are way out of line and the customer service is atrocious! Called ahead to insure the ball glove I was looking for was instock. Was told that they had a few so drove across the city to have a look. I walked in and was blown away by all the stock piled up haphazardly everywhere, barely room to walk. I spent 10 min.going through the gloves with not a boo from the old guy at the till. Checked the prices and most were about $100.00 for a used ball glove. Left the store, walked by the till without a word. Save your time and money go to the competing used sports stores. read more

Be aware that they do not have a return or exchange policy. My sons bought golf clubs using their summer wages since the prices were pretty good. When they tried them out later, a driver shattered after hitting a couple of balls. I asked the store about a possible exchange since the club seemed to be defective and should not have failed after a couple of hits but their position was that it was used and we could have abused it. Nothing they were willing to do. I'd rather buy something from a place that is willing to stand behind what they sell. read more

Stay away from this place went to buy a used kids bike, it cost $39.99 paid another $10 for training wheel which the owner installed. My kid took one ride and the training wheel bolt flew off with one of the training wheel tumbling to the ground thank God for helmet. It turns out the axle what too small for the trainer's but the owner still hitched it on and should have known that it was a potential hazard to cut a 3 page story short I had no end of trouble afterward because apparently there is no return possible and it's either love it or back off. So I spent $50 and my son still needs a bicycle better to try Kijiji or Walmart. read more

Reasonably priced on items. But try to trade something in... ha! The owner will first offer you such a lowball price on your goods and then when you try to barter or negotiate on a number/price, he goes off on this tangent about his business plan, how its such a tough market, and so on. I'm not an expert on how to run a business but the one thing I know that'll keep customers coming back is knowing how to treat customers properly. I'm not asking for the Red Carpet treatment but, geesh, have welcoming personality. Sometimes you got to lose a little to gain ALOT! I know he's trying to run a business and make money but I know I'd be a return customer if wasn't so stubborn. Just my two cents! read more
