The market has many, many different shops/stalls ranging from shoe repair shops, stalls that sell floors and many little places that sell home ware and hard ware goods! Yes, this place has it all, and is moulded and sold to the public under the impression of an old market (all be it one in a multi storey building!). Over the years I have always seen the market full of people buzzing about trying to find a bargain. It's good for what it is, but it really is a relic of an old age. How this place survives with the number of supermarkets and large DIY stores in the area astounds me!

There are stalls selling computer equipment, curtains and fabrics, mobile phone accessories, car accessories and there is even a photographer within the market who has a little unit offering great value photographs. As well as all that there is a very good cafe situated right in the centre of the market which as well as offering great food also now has internet access for you to use too. A must if you are shopping in Kirkcaldy but still not as good as it once was!

So the places isn't as nice as Waitrose (which I happen to personally really like) but it gets the job done and it has so much more selection then the one in my town! I just bough so much food there. They have a larger selection of veg, sauces, spirts, foods from around the world and the prices are much cheaper then they are in St. Andrews. Heck there is even a clothing part of the store... I didn't know Tescos sold clothing! AHHH!! They have a good selection of Scottish beers in this store (I brought home 5 new ones to try! VERY EXCITING) though I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any Paulner. They also had the supper large tub of Marmite that they don't sell at the Tescos in St. Andrews and I was in HEAVEN!!! MARMITE HOW I LOVE THEE LET ME COUNT THE WAYS! I even found some soba (one of my favourite things to order when I am at a Japanese restaurant in SF). ***AND EVERYTHING WAS SOO MUCH CHEAPER*** Screw the St. Andrews Tescos, what a freaking conspiracy. It's HUGE and features a great selection of money-saving deals. A student's heaven. It also features a home section, a clothes section and even an electrical section. You'll be able to get almost everything you need. There's a large carpark for parking however, it's not that far should you decide to walk.

It's found on the bottom floor of the Overgate centre so means it's alongside a variety of similar shops to help you find your perfect outfit!

It's located right next to Rama ( very good Thai food & I wrote a review ) . Little shop is filled with hidden gems- love love the sparkly reindeer head, and cute cards and frames black and whites of Dundee .. They have fantastic little things that would make beautiful gifts for birthdays and house gifts, they have fantastic cards for birthdays and Christmas too!! I found a beautiful green scarf on sale. This place is definitely worth a visit - and to support local shop owners! The owner was super sweet and gave great recommendations to places to see and eat around town !
