April 29, 2026 - Installers came out to hang the blinds BUT noticed that ALL the valences and some parts were missing. They informed the company and said they had to come out again to finish the job. I also called the consultant and the company when nothing was done after a month. I was told the parts were "in transit." My bedroom windows and wall art had to be covered with paper since the sun coming in made the bedroom too hot--and privacy was an issue. May 14, 2026 - One of the slats on the new blinds fell off by itself! I had only used it a couple of times since installation. I called Tafoya contractors to see if someone could fix it on Monday June 8, 2026 at 10:00. No answer. June 2026 - Several times now, I was told that the missing parts are "in transit." Unfortunately, I have already paid almost $3,600 and it is months later--still don't know when the parts to complete my blinds will arrive. In the past 20 years, I have always ordered from 3 Day Blinds when I needed window coverings.... Maybe the company should rename themselves : Three Months or More Blinds. Their in-home consultant/designer (Adrienne) was very good, and she helped me design a very nice looking trio of roller shades for a set of patio windows. Unfortunately, the execution of the design is flawed and the shades are crooked and the valence is very awkward looking. Instead of being a nice accent to the room, right now it's an eyesore. Hopefully, they will correct these problems soon. read more

I'm beside myself how this company can operate the way they do. We paid almost $2,000 maybe a bit more for two motorized shades and one manual one for our hard to reach windows in our new home: new, that is until this company came to put in our very expensive blinds (all 3 have failed thus far) but there is pictures to show just how bad this has been for me and my family. I decided to write this since the manual shade just stopped working today oh and that's because fitting is not long enough to be secured on the right side. So, the installer not only put holes in our top window area, but because the piece he measured was not long enough. Don't do it, what ever you do... find another company to get your blinds from. Our home is so damaged now and it's brand new. 5 times this company had to come out, they sent guys who were so dirty there's literally dirt everywhere. It looks like a mechanic hung our blinds... they ruined our burr burr carpet only 4 months old... in the end who knows if corporate will rectify this situation who knows if they will compensate us for all the damage they have caused to our brand new home. read more

Last April 2022 I purchased motorized Honeycomb blinds for out Sunroom. I went with 3 Day Blinds due to a promotion that they were having. As it turns out I am very disappointed with the slow delivery and response times, inaccurate measurements resulting in delayed installation of over 2 months, unprofessional design contact, defective motorized remote, and undelivered promises and commitments. Had blinds since June 2022 and remote control is inoperative and unable to open and close blinds. Reached out to Designer who promised she would help resolve and never heard back from her. Go someplace that puts customer service as a priority! read more

SCAM! I requested a free estimate and an agent showed up, made some measurements, showed samples, and gave me a sloppy handwritten quote. I immediately requested a formal quote before approving anything further. I never received a quote. I emailed multiple times (spam blocker is not an issue on their end or mind, had exchanged emails before) and yet I never got a quote. 2 weeks later I wake up to a contract to install my blinds with a poorly written cancelation clause. I never approved this. I have written back to the VP of Sales, the agent, and the company directly to stop any installation. BBB is my next stop. read more

Corporate reimbursed me for the full labor cost of installation, but unfortunately this does not erase the problems I've had to deal with for 5 years since I bought Hunter Douglas roller shades from 3 Day Blinds for my home. Due to incorrect and poor quality installation by Jason, I continue to struggle with 1) rollers popping out of the end caps and falling to the floor, 2) broken bead chains due to excessive force required to open, 3) unsightly misaligned valences. Hopefully, for future customers, they will replace him with a more capable installer if they haven't already. I've got a $1,000 estimate from another installer to come in and rectify all the installation issues. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received from Shari Arata when we installed shutters in our home over a year ago. She spent a significant amount of time meeting with me and then had to meet again to recap for my husband. Shutters were installed earlier than promised and they r beautiful!!! Fast forward a year- a chair was pressed up against on of my shutters and my daughter forced it open and it was tweaked a bit. 3 day blinds shutters r guaranteed for life so I gave them a call. A few steps later an installer returned and fixed the problem. Shari was there every step of the way. She kept checking in w me to make sure the repairs were completed! Excellent customer service. Classy lady w excellent recommendations. U will not b disappointed. Just to compare companies- at our old house we had a room darkening shade installed by Budget Blinds. The backing shred to pieces within a few years. I called the sales lady who offered no apology or discount. She simply quoted at same expensive price to replace the blind. read more

i called 3 Day Blinds and the sales agent immediately called me back and scheduled an appointment. The appointment was on October 20. The installer came and measure on Oct. 26. The blinds were installed on November 21. The valence was missing and one shade was not installed correctly. The installer did write on the invoice that the valence was missing. Still, they charged my credit card for the full amount. I called 3 Day blinds on November 23 to ensure they knew and they said everything was going ahead. I got tired of waiting so I called again on December 16 and was told the valence was in production. (roughly 1 month after installation for a normal size?) The agent told me it would be shipped on December 19. I called the installer immediately and told them I wanted them installed either Thursday or Friday, giving them time to arrive. The installer called me back on Monday, the 19th, saying that FedEx said they would be delivered on Friday, December 23. She said to call 3 day and ask for expedited shipping. I called and was told there was no guaranatee they would arrive before Friday. So after 2 months I am still waiting for 3 day blinds to complete the order. read more

Awful awful awful services for our home in Aptos. The installation guy - Randy - was good but our repair order was made wrong twice and 3 day blind refused to fix it! They replaced our original blinds with the wrong color and a thinner material and then refused to fix it. The very cheerful phone clerk read from a script and kept repeating her response over and over. Super disgusted in this company. 5 months later I get a response saying they'll fix the problem! I hired 3-Day Blinds to help me redecorate my new home. I was very pleased with Jeannine Katrib, who spent a whole day with me and my friends, helping me pick out plantation shutters, roman shades, and determine other decorating needs. She has a real eye for design and was delightful to work with. Installation, however, has been nothing but a problem. There have been scheduling mishaps, communication that wasn't responded to, and even at this moment I am waiting for the shutter installer who was supposed to be here over an hour ago. If they were able to provide the same quality service for their installation as they do for their design and sales teams, I would definitely give them 5 stars. What a joy to work with someone who knows her products, listens to your needs, and goes the extra mile! I figured I'd try 3 Day Blinds based on a discount coupon I received when I moved into our new home. Am I ever glad I did! The product arrived even faster than expected and was of marvelous quality. The consultant who did the measuring was an absolute joy (and a Veteran!), so I felt confident that my experience would end well. Other companies may be cheaper, but then again, I'm still waiting for blinds from another company that was placed 3 weeks before my 3-Day Blinds. And those were an even simpler order. the rep wanted me to sign an electronic document on her lap top of which only the signature box was available. she stated i'd get the doc in my email that evening and could read it then and that my signature was simply a formality that did not obligate us to them. i still did not sign. days later i got the doc, it was the invoice! UNETHICAL! reps name is Shai Arata. i have saved the email exchange we did after i received the invoice and she still insisted it did not obligate us. the invoice clearly hires them if i had signed. This company was great for installation. The greatness stops there. The repair service is AWFUL. I scheduled appointments on two separate occasions, blocked out two full days on separate days of the month. Each time the installer did not call to notify me of his delay nor did 3 day blinds notify me. When I called them to inquire about the installer, I was told "Oh, he has been held up, he's on his way now". By the end of the day, I called to reschedule. The second time, same scenario, no show, no call! When I called them, I was told, "Oh he's off to a late start". Once again, no show, no call. I called them once again, they have rescheduled me for Labor Day!! I am very disappointed in this company and would NEVER use them again!! read more

My rating is solely based on my experience with the consultant. Shutters are beautiful, installer was great, but the consultant left a bitter taste in my mouth that will make me question using this company again. Shari Arata was the most unprofessional woman I had ever met. She deliberately lied to me, drove me to tears, and could care less about it. I ordered ONE shutter and was told the wait time was 6-8 weeks. It was a lot of money to wait for something that long but I decided to go for it. At about the 8 week mark I contacted Shari and she told me I'd be waiting 4 more weeks (installing after Christmas.... I ordered beginnings of October).... come to find out later, my shutters had been delivered to the installer already. She clearly didn't care enough to look thoroughly through my account, tracking or contact the installer for me to see if they had arrived. I don't even know where she got her information that my shutters would arrive 4 weeks late. She just listened to me cry on the phone about having no window covering for family visiting for Christmas and was extremely apathetic. Didn't even offer to look further into it, just said "yeah sometimes it comes later".... basically "I don't care, deal with it". Now I see why she starts her sales pitch by making her clients go through her self selected reviews, she clearly hides the bad ones to get more business. Beware!!! read more

Jeannine Katrib was really great. She was pleasant, on-time, and professional, providing me with really helpful design advice that included both economical and more costly options. She also let me know when what I wanted (bottom-up shades for a very wide window) were not possible, and explained to me why that option would not work in that circumstance.
