My experiments with the Italian cuisines continue. Not sure what to have for dinner on a Friday…read moreevening, finding this place was complete serendipity! I was greeted by a 32-teeth (broadest grin) welcome who directed me to a single table. The place seemed to a preferred family hangout place occupied by mostly middle aged people. Decor was okay nothing that really stood out both in a positive or negative way. A cursory glance at the menu told me that the place wasn't the cheapest option for Italian food. I was hungry and didn't bother the starters section. My cruising finger stopped Tagliatelle Arrabita with Pollo momentarily - arabita black olives chicken and tomato sauce. Nah not tomato! When I told my predicament to the waiter, she assured that they can move it to cheese sauce :-) The service took its time but the password free wifi kept me busy. The food was worth the wait. The red chillies gave the pasta the otherwise smooth creamy pasta a slightly bitter-tangy taste. I think I took half the time to finish the pasta as compared to the wait. Ordered a Tiramisu which was decent in taste but was made average if you think about the price you paid for it. To summarise, would rate it higher than average experience but not exceptional in terms of value for money and effort.

I do like to come back to this place. It may not be top notch when it comes to Italian cuisine but…read morethere have quite a few good positions on the menu. They also always have a special menu for each day. I did try a few things and i can recommend pizzas and risottos in this place. This time I had tomato soup, gnocchi with saffron and prosciutto. My friend had this day special chanterelles mushrooms in sauce with dill and cream and halibut on peas risotto. Everything was very nice, I even had a doggy bag for the next day. The only minus is that there is no air condition so in hot days it is not to pleasant.
