So friendly! And great produce. It's worth the drive. Love the "small town" feeling!

Went here Sunday while attending the fall pumpkin festival and decided to get a drink from the bar…read morebefore we left the market area to ride the hayride to the pumpkin patch. The staff were friendly and nice; our waitress even made some conversation at our table for a little bit. The outdoor dining area had a cute setup; def would like to see how it is during the summer. I don't remember the name of the drink I got because I asked the lady at the order window to make whichever one was both fruity and sweet. I'd give the drink an 8/10; it was pretty good, but became watered down really really fast. Didn't try any food off the menu because we were already planning to go eat after we left the farm, but after looking at the menu, I definitely see myself going back here soon to try their food and whatever new seasonal items/drinks they'll be adding to the menu in the next month or so. My overall rate of experience : 8.5/10

So thankful that Greenbrier Farms finally worked things out with the city & they are back OPEN!…read more I stopped to grab a bite to eat. I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich with fresh fruit & a Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. The chicken salad was horrible, lol like I actually took one bite & couldn't eat anymore. It's like the chicken salad was ground or puréed. The fresh fruit was delicious & ripe! The Strawberry Lemonade was delightful, a little heavy handed for my liking. I'm so happy this place is open that I'm still giving it 5 stars, despite not eating the sandwich.

I've lived in VB for almost 11 years, and have NEVER gone strawberry picking! Crazy, I know. I knew…read morethis season I had to go, so I grabbed my friend and her two kids and we decided to give Hickory Ridge Farm a try! What a gem. They have buckets for you to grab, or you can bring your own. You get charged per pound that you pick and pay when you're done! They had so many strawberries ready to pick, I had so much fun doing this with my friends kids! I was already planning on making a homemade strawberry shortcake when I got home. They have a cute little coffee truck which I obviously had to stop by. If you have a strawberry latte during strawberry season - you can count on me to grab one! It was so good, and not too sweet or tart from the strawberry! I also had to grab their strawberry donuts from the farm stand. Which, needless to say ... they did not make it home with me. We scarfed those down! Incredible. I loved the "petting zoo" area. You can feed the goats, sit in the rabbit pen and give them some pets, and play with the piglets! Such a cute add on to this experience; and the petting zoo was no charge! They also have a ton of toys and bounce houses for the kiddos. If you're looking for a fun strawberry picking experience, give them a try!

They do provide wagons so you don't have to carry around your pumpkins. It is all outside so dress accordingly. We love the fact that everything is local and locally owned. Also free to enter. Plenty of parking. We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

The employee who checked us out wasn't rude but he threw heavy items on top of our meat and fresh produce which could have caused them to pop open or get smashed. Their merchandise was also not organized either, very messy. This is the first time visiting an Aldi that is this way so it caught me off guard.

I will start by saying if you have never been inside one it is almost completely all brands you never see or see in your everyday grocery store. If you need a basket bring a quarter!! Also bring your own reusable bags! Or you can buy some up front. They are not expansive the paper is 10 cents. They put it in your cart and then they have a bar along the wall where you go and bag it yourself. These are all things I wish I knew they every first time I went! I was confused at first!! It has a decent amount of options not a whole lot of Isles but you can probably find a big chunk of what you are looking for. We have noticed we definitely save money on cream cheese and fresh fruits and vegetables depending on the sales. And always save money on chips 84 cents for a bag. I always for get about this grocery store and then will randomly go and I always find something good. We found some Taco Bell chips I have never seen. I got some little ice cream cups for the kids. And a few other things. We got 6 food products and two toys for $30.
