I called to let them know since this was not something that the driver did and was going To see if she could just put some to the side and I could have someone come get it. But before I could do that she wouldn't even take responsibility and told me I had to deal with grubhub. Even let me know that she's worked there a long time which I thought was pretty rude and had nothing to do with you not making this correctly. I'm kind of ashamed for not coming here before Indy burger week, but I'm glad I did. The beau and I decided to venture out on the last day of the special. We were able to bypass the line and find open seating in the bar area. Our waitress was amazing; she made sure to check on us frequently for the duration of our dining experience. :) The BBQ Bacon Burger caught my eye so I went with that sans the cheese. I eat cheese but not on burgers for some strange reason, but it included bacon, barbecue sauce, and onion ring on a 1/2 lb beef patty. I prefer my bacon soft not crunchy and I think it was a happy medium. I took a bite and was in love. I had to ask for more bbq sauce because it wasn't enough though. I also got the tater tots and they were shaped like the little Tetris game tiles. I kind felt like a kid again playing with my food. Another thing I spotted on the menu was the drink options. I wanted to taste the pineapple cider and noticed that you can get three 5oz samples for $6 so I chose the pineapple cider and the beau got the dreamsicle ale, and cougar ale. The last two reminded me yet again that I do not like bear AT ALL. The dreamsicle did smell like its name, just didn't taste like it to me. We've been here a few times now and have been able to try a variety off the menu. The burgers are juicy and the fries are fresh and hot off the fryer, but expect to pay $13-15 for a burger and a side. The downside is you may still be hungry after the meal. I went to join some friends for the Burger Fuel 1 year Anniversary Block Party in Broad Ripple, only to find the line backed up around the block. At their suggestion, we decided in 317 instead. Their drink menu was typical of the area, with cocktails in the $9-12 range. In addition to their burger menu with a vegetarian option, they also had salads, sandwiches and quesadillas. I ordered a Black and blue burger and a 317 mule and my daughter ordered a traditional burger with a soda. We opted for mac n cheese (a $2 upcharge). Her friend ordered a burger with fries and a soda. I liked that our drinks were served with heavy paper straws. I didn't like that we had to ask for water, refills and the sauces that were requested over and again. The burgers, described as 'craft' were very small and nothing fancy. The mac n cheese was penne noodles with a white cheese, a far cry from the creamy goodness we were expecting. While I enjoyed the company of my friends and my Moscow mule, I was completely underwhelmed by my $55 lunch. I could have gone to Wendy's for a burger of this quality. Been here a couple times and totally spaced on reviewing. The burgers have been on point every single time and I have tried a few. My favorite is the diner burger (sub ghost cheese for American). Very solid choice for upscale burgers. Their menu isn't as big as some of the other options around Broad Ripple. That works to their advantage. They really focus on making fantastic burgers, fries, and pickle fries. I don't eat beef most of the time. So I have a somewhat unique experience of 317. I can say that both their turkey burger and Impossible Burger (TM) options are prepared well. My personal favorite is to get the Black & Bleu burger with an Impossible patty instead of beef. But it also works well with the turkey patty. As others have mentioned, the pickle fries are fantastic. I always eat far more than I mean to when I order them. My wife got the Bison burger which she thought tasted a bit dry but overall good. She looooved the sweet potatoes and the caramel sauce that came with it. I got the Bulldog burger and substituted the mustard for their spicy sauce (not a huge mustard fan). It was fantastic! Highly recommend! Comes with a slice of salami and a fried egg! I made a reservation over the phone on Wednesday and then had to make an adjustment on Friday night and the staff was very accommodating. Our main waiter, Alex, was friendly and attentive. I ordered the bbq burger with the poutine and a pineapple cider. The bbq sauce was good but the burger lacked basic seasoning. Another thing was that the burger was sopping wet. I could not take a bite of my burger without attacking it from different sides, a couple layers at a time. My small girl mouth just could not handle this burger. Normally, I don't like huge, thick burgers like these, but mine was super tasty and juicy, so I didn't mind the overabundance of meat. I got the Breakfast Burger, which was a 50/50 blend of bacon and ground beef, an egg, gravy and cheese on a croissant bun. It was delicious! It was so big that I could not even finish it. It comes with fries, which were delicious, too. The decor in 317 Burger is kind of kitschy, which I like. The booth seats are lined with faux cow hide. Service was great. Our server was very attentive and yet not too chatty. I always have to give extra love to a place with a good kids menu, and 317 has a good one. Their paper menu is printed with images of the food, so kids who cannot read yet can still feel like they're part of the whole dining-out experience and make their choices visually. It's pretty neat! I just had dinner there today. It was a fantastic place and the burgers were great. We were seated right away and there is outdoor seating. We did go earlier for dinner, but it did look like there was plenty of indoor seating as well. I will say as many restaurants are doing these days, the menu was available via a QR code. Love that it was paperless but just make sure your phone is charged. However, I will say that our server did know all of the sides without any help and that was pretty impressive.
