We learned a lot about the history of this cafe, Brandon's downtown, its support towards the LGBTQ+ community, and it being a nice social event spot during nights and weekends. I went for an iced tea here, as it wasn't too cold of a day. Many others went for their coffee, and they all liked it. I also liked the iced tea, it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I always like supporting local business when I visit new cities, and this place is no exception. They deserve your support here if you're ever around Brandon's downtown area.

Only one person in our group was there prior, but only during lunch. I had attempted to book a reservation via their website. Received a confirmation email that they received my request, but never an actual confirmation for our reservation. We arrived at 1730, no record of our reservation, but not a big deal as we were seated in a nice big booth. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor! Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect mainly because of the location. Our server was super friendly, probably one of the best servers we have had in a long time. Drink orders were taken. Shortly after the owner Benny came to apologize to us about our reservation! Said he has been having issues with the reservatioservice. We ordered Calamari for starters. The Special (BBQChicken Breast and Ribs (1/2 rack) Classic Burger and fries Steak Sandwich (med rare) w/ Caesar salad Chicken Strips w/fries And Lamb Shank. Fantastic! The only complaint/criticism was with the Ribs and Chicken. The sauce seemed generic, as it came from a big "Kraft" jug. This place should make their sauce pop, and be remarkable! Very bland, forgettable, was kinda "meh"ish. The other meals were really good. The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The burger was delicious! The lamb was above expectations! However, no one organized the guests entering, the main door was to be locked so the guests wound not enter the hall (as wedding was outside), microphone was not tweaked and couldn't be used during the vows. They charged my daughter $4 per cupcake that were from Co-op . THAT IS WRONG!!! We should have had someone double check all of the set up the day of the wedding. The music man had to move his equipment to outside for first dance, which was weird. Outdoor games were to be set up and weren't. Waiting area for the bride and bridesmaids was really crappy, they didn't even try to make it nice. Had to wait in kitchen by coolers and other stuff. We always have a good time but the pool tables have never been available when we've been there because they are reserved. When we called to ask if we could reserve a pool table they told us that they didn't do that and we couldn't we still had a good time and the food was great.
