We paid them in full exceeding $500 and my mother even spoke with Anna the day before the wedding to make sure everything was ready. She totally forgot about my wedding on the day of, just did not show up. Hours after they were supposed to arrive, we finally got ahold of her. Multiple people were calling and texting. We were given really immature excuses, like, "my Google calendar didn't tell me about your wedding for some reason." She finally found somebody to come out and got everything installed literally as the wedding started. The flowers were all tangled since it was thrown up so quickly. After the wedding, they were supposed to come tear everything down. Our venue had a deadline for us to be out. My parents had to stand around waiting and waiting for someone to show up. More tracking down Anna. They decided they would just come back in the morning and did not mention that to any of us. The next day, I reached out to Anna to talk about the incident. I had to explain how unacceptable this was to even get an apology. I spent my getting ready time on my wedding day tracking down Dancenhance who literally took our money and forgot the wedding. Weddings are so expensive and stressful, this lack of professionalism was appalling.

But he was not at the wedding, but two of his employees were? He did not tell me he would not be at the wedding. The staff who were there did not exude a positive or cheery attitude with my guests, my vendors, or with my family. Specifically, he was rude to my mom. I refer to the staff as "DJ Timbo." My mother (I'm still incredulous at this) had to interfere when DJ Timbo blocked my bartenders in on the porch with their equipment. DJ Timbo even floated the idea of an additional setup fee since he had to move his equipment off the porch after his initial set up on the porch (this was NEVER in our plan in the first place and Kim never mentioned this to me) to the lawn - which was the original plan when he and I were coordinating in person. The original plan was for the bartenders to be on the porch, always. The rain plan was for the bartenders to set up inside the Baker, or inside the Blue House, and the DJ would be on the porch. But the rain plan was not needed. DJ Timbo (and my wedding planner) thought music had to stop at 10pm or we would be fined due to a sound ordinance. A staff from the setup/tear down team called the Argenta police to inquire. We only had to turn down the music to be compliant. The Baker is a downtown venue where bars and restaurants are just down the street. When we found out the music could continue, we had already played our final 2 exit songs, which was so disappointing! When I told staff at the Baker what had happened, they were shocked because the sound ordinance should have been a non-issue. Guests were under the impression that dancing would stop and the reception would potentially need to move to a bar down the street because my husband and I were given the wrong information. DJ Timbo started to tear down about 10:15pm even though we had paid him through 11pm. My mom stopped him. Also, DJ Timbo played 3 group dance songs in a row, which felt excessive. I would have preferred them to be split up throughout the night, or have 1-2 normal songs in between.

The DJ played a wide variety of music from Tejano to line dancing to popular music. They also put on a light show during the dancing portion of the evening. I like to think that I am a pretty good line dancer. Tonight, I felt like I was totally disconnected from the music world. When the Wobble line dance played, I thought I know that one. Well as I contemplated getting out there to shake my groove thang, screech...pump the brakes. They were doing a totally different Wobble line dance moves. So, we sat that one out. Also, it was bit intimidating to approach a sea synchronized teenager dancers. The DJ was spinning non-stop tunes and the the teenagers and a few others were moving and grooving.
