Not only did she not get an instant return ( which we understand) but to charge a kid $85 is disgusting! She didn't even get half of that back on her return! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I can see charging that to someone that, who has a complicated return or that makes over $50k a year. She made under $20k. Never.....ever will I have my taxes done with you and I will be telling everyone I know to take their business somewhere else!

I now come back on sunday for him to send me again again and print some paper work he wants me to fill it out so it's easier for him - I have zero problem doing that. What I don't appreciate it how he rushed me out so fast the first time that he didn't give me or tell me about this paper work but on Sunday he did so now I need to come back for a third time. There was never any time that I was informed that an estate/trust tax return is due 90 days after the anniversary of the date of death. I started communicating with this company on Jan 25, 2018, giving lots of time for the tax return to be done by March 13/18, the due date, which I learned much later. The estate income tax return was not filed until April 23, approximately 40 days late. There was a penalty and interest on the file. When speaking with CRA, it was explained about the 90 day window. The accountant office had everything by 2 days before the deadline, which may be cutting it close, but had he informed me about the deadline, the timeline for getting the documents to his office when I did would have been different. I still don't understand why it took him another 40 days to file the return. No explanation for that was ever given. I asked the accountant to reimburse the penalty and interest as I expected him to know about estate tax deadlines. He sent a letter blaming me for the late filing and telling me I should know these things. Why then did I pay him for his expertise. He did reimburse the penalty and interest, but suggested that I only cash the cheque if I believed his office was responsible for the late filing. I cashed the cheque. And on top of all of this the taxes were done wrong.
