A little background - this company has done my Christmas light installation for many years. They have always had the installation completed by Thanksgiving every year. This Thanksgiving comes and goes without a word. The Sunday following Thanksgiving he finally shows up to do measurements and tells me he'd have an estimate for me that evening. I reached out to him the next day after not hearing from him that evening annddd.......nothing. It's 8 days until Christmas. No texts. No calls. No lights. Needless to say my family and I are disappointed. I'm not sure what's going on with them. They were the company I relied on for Christmas light installation for a decade, but I'll be looking for a different installer next year.

Texas Lawn and Landscape that comes up on Google search for this company. I hired them on the basis of a handshake agreement as related to what and the cost would be. I was told a per hour cost for a complete cleanup of my shrubs and flower beds. I had a fixed bid but Joe, the owner, of N. Texas Lawn and Landscape went by the per man hour agreement. I never put a stop watch on them but the charge was 40% higher than my fixed bid. I paid and never said a word as I was the dumb one for not tieing down the cost to a more definite price. I felt for him as he went into great detail as to how many employees were leaving to go the West Texas to work for higher wages in the oil field. He then did take care of mowing and trimming my yard. One mowing was with a non-mulching mower that left rows of unsightly dead grass. The other two were OK but the trimming was not very well done. Thereafter i never heard from him again except a text to ask if i wanted my yard done. Of course i did. That was agreed on at the very first. No one ever came. I tried his cell phone many times, leaving messages, but no response. Texts, which he lives by, were ignored. You can make up your own mind about his services.
