The two plates closest to the camera is my meal the Big Man's combo for 18! Other side is the hot & spicy burrito.

The service was great got my whole tables food out in 5 minutes! Absolutely would recommend great prices paid 18$ for so much food and once again came out super quick. Would definently recommend and the ambience here is nice aswell!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Right on the river, the views are incredible! Some of the best Mexican I've had! Chile rojo was tender strips of steak seasoned with red chile sauce- not to spicy but oh so good. We also had the pollo loco/ fajita chicken smothered in queso over rice with peppers and onions. So utterly delicious! We will definitely go back when we're in Bryson City!

My daughter lives in Cullowhee and this is her and her boyfriend's favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I was excited to meet them for lunch there. We arrived probably two minutes before it opened and they were kind enough to let us in because it was freezing outside. We were seated in a big booth. Waiter quickly brought yummy chips and salsa and took our drink orders. The Diet Coke was on point -- not flat like some places. Menu was huge but I finally decided on the Camarones a la Mexicana. Portions were huge and presentation was beautiful. Daughter's boyfriend ordered the Torta and it was as big as two sandwiches, plus fries! Mine included a beautiful avocado. I'm not a fan but daughter was happy to eat it. Overall a delicious lunch. Waiter was kind enough to give us drinks to go and we stepped out on the back deck to peek at the river and the train passing by. Would be a lovely place to eat when the weather is warm.

Wow. I was not expecting this. The original margarita was solid. Standard chips and salsa. My fajita was so great. The cabbage purple slaw added to the normal condiments was epic. Good rice and beans. Service aimed to please! Cool Mexican vibe decor.

Everything and I mean everything we had as a family was off the charts. Me - I had their 3 taco meal with rice and beans. I got the el pastor and highly recommend them. Juicy, fresh meat with pineapple. The horchata was great - and reasonably priced at $2.65 - plus not overly sweet like most places and they even gave up free refills on them. The chips and salsa were also a hit with the chips not being greasy and the salsa being homemade and on point.

Strrrroonnnggg margaritas LOL say less. Authentic Mexican food and it was EXCELLENT. Staff also hilarious and friendly. Great experience!!

The original ticket 3% added for every card. I asked the server. 3% for debit card also. Final receipt came shows Inflation Adjustment 3%.

It's inviting, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. This is a great spot for a date night or a dinner with family. That said, the overall vibe leans more toward a romantic evening setting than a kid-focused restaurant. It's the kind of place you take your wife for a nice night out or bring someone on a first date when you want to make a solid impression. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. The restaurant was about half full, yet it maintained a calm, relaxed energy. It wasn't loud at all, which made conversation easy and enjoyable -- something that's becoming rare in many dining spots. Our waiter was extremely helpful and genuinely kind. He answered every question thoroughly and spoke very positively about both the food and the restaurant overall. You could tell he believed in what they were serving, and that confidence matters. The only real drawback for me was that the desserts weren't made in-house. For a restaurant with such a strong, authentic feel, house-made desserts would have elevated the experience even more. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken cordon bleu with salad and pasta topped with marinara. The dish was good, but if I'm being completely honest, I felt it needed more seasoning. When I eat Italian food, I want bold flavor -- I want to get hit with basil, garlic, herbs, and depth. The seasoning felt a little light, and that was the main thing missing for me. Outside of that, the meal was enjoyable. One thing I truly appreciated was that the owner personally walked around checking on guests and asking how everything was. That's a touch many restaurants could learn from. It makes people feel valued and welcomed -- like family. And that hospitality element is something they absolutely got right. Overall, I think this is a place most people should try if they haven't already. It delivers a warm atmosphere, solid service, and a dining experience that feels personal. I'll definitely be back.

The food, while fresh, is mediocre-tasting. Nothing to write home about. It'll do if you go in with tempered expectations.

The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and I believe there's also a bar area. We were seated right away, which was a great start. Their menu has a little bit of everything, from appetizers and gumbo to customizable seafood boils with different seasoning and spice options. Before our meal, they brought out their cheesy crab bread, and unfortunately I didn't snap a picture because we all devoured it within minutes. It was that good! I ordered a half pound of crawfish, a half pound of snow crab legs, and a lobster tail with the Cajun seasoning, "Make It Hot." Everything was delicious! The snow crab legs were packed with flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the lobster tail--it was incredibly meaty, buttery, and cooked perfectly. The boil also came with sausage, corn, and potatoes, making it a hearty meal. I also have to give a shoutout to our server, Amanda. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She checked on us often, cleared the table as we finished, and gave great recommendations when we had questions about the menu. If I ever find myself back in Tennessee, I'd definitely come back to Storming Crab!
