I have been going here for over a year now and management/teaching faculty is amazing; they really make you feel like you're part of the family. The classes are quite diverse and they are always open to adding something if you want to explore another facet of acting or modeling. The people that teach the courses, as well as the management team, have all been/are in the business and are constantly available to lend an ear to any issues you may have or to give advice. There are plenty of auditions that they hold in house, for clients, that range from agencies to student projects to feature films to fashion shows; in additions to auditions, there is a wonderful photographer on staff (at a discount) and a great director to help with your portfolio and/or reel. As for some of the older reviews, they have tightened up on the classes as far as experience and age range goes, which is a definite improvement on the cohesion of the class; they also have added some new people to their group of teachers, which has opened up an even wider range of classes offered. Any educational facility is going to ask you for money (staff need a paycheck and no one does it for free) but their prices are very reasonable for the quality/quantity/variety of classes (remember, you get what you pay for) and if you are struggling, they will try their best to figure something out. read more

4D is such an amazing place to begin and also hone in on your skills as a performer. Not only do they offer such a wide variety of classes but they have amazing teachers for said classes. Whether you're interested in modeling, acting, or singing, they have it all as well as for all ages. Agencies and individuals also come hold auditions at the studio so you can not only get your feet wet with what it's like to audition, but also snag some roles or even an agent. And one of the best parts is the staff, not only are the teachers wonderful but those who run the studio are absolutely fantastic. Carol, aka CJ, is like a mother and a mentor. She is so friendly and just wants to see you flourish and succeed. Jim and Alex are also just amazing! Jim will do photoshoots with you so you can get head shots and with his connections at The art institute of Tampa, you can also get experience with the students. I actually lost a monologue that had been taped and they volunteered to stay late and film it and edit it for me so I could have it for my reel, which is something they had no commitment to do but wanted to for my benefit. Carol, Alex, and Jim are all so personable and will really take the time to get to know you and talk to you and help you. Everyone wants to see you fulfill your dreams at 4D. 4 D studios I went to a year ago, within 6 months I was signed with an agency. With that being said you must understand that they are there to help you as much as possible but you must make sure you are as dedicated to your craft as they will be. Every workshop gives you experience about something! They show you the experience you need to audition and what is required. The down payment is lower than most places I've ever checked, and the monthly is not much either. Think about this you get workshops 5 of them for that, but to be honest, the real investment, goes in with how many different agencies and independent film producers come in the school to look for talent and you being part of the school gets you into all those auditions which for me personally that alone is worth the membership. You have a dedicated cast such as Carol Alvaro who is there constant watching out for you to be at your peak at all times and when you are not she will do the most she can to get you there and all the staff communicates so well that everyone is always on the same page. Jim and Alex are fantastic for advice on all aspects of the business and can not honestly ask for better people to run that studio and would honestly rather be no where else. I began working with 4D a little over two years ago and I am leaps and bounds ahead of where I was previously. He has, through the skills and techniques he learned from the workshops, along with the networking platform provided by the school, been booking paying gigs with numerous local and even globally renowned filmmakers. Great staff - very professional. I recently had a photoshoot with them and my photos turned out great. They were easy to get a hold of and scheduled the shoot within a couple of weeks.
