Second time going to 4j for acrylic sets and I am SOLD! Gotta give it up to my girl Clara - she checked with me every step of the way, was open to changing a nail design, and the pricing is very reasonable. Cute little shop, I went on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get right in, came back 4 weeks later (yes, they lasted that long!!) on a Tuesday after work and there was only one other person in there! When you first walk in you are greeted. Very nice staff and I brought inspo for the nails I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted and it was 1-2 hours which is surprising since what I asked for was difficult. I got acrylic and short nails. It was around 95 dollars without tip and before tax. It would be less but I got a complicated design with more than one color. One hand is the hungry caterpillar and the other is ladybug themed. It is a smaller salon but clean and professional. They are so friendly. Clean! You don't need an appointment. They do builder gel which I find better than dip or acrylic. Pedicures are nice but they do push the gel toe polish which for me comes off quickly. The waxing and brow tint is great, well done precise and decent price. Under $40 for wax and tint. read more

I came in for a gel pedi and was pleasantly surprised to find out they do gel x nails!!!! I didn't have time to get a fill before I traveled here on business but this is definitely 10000% going to be my spot any time I am here. I got the Royal Pedi ($90 with gel polish) and it was worth it. The application of product and massage in every step was amazing. Very strong massage and so relaxing. Had me close to tears lol. My gel x fill was great. Turned out better than my hometown shop. They use a builder gel to fill so I did get that initial sting of heat when it cures but I've gotten that any time I've had just gel on my nails. V shaped it exactly how I wanted it changing my almond more to a short stiletto. She chose a really natural nude as the base color (I wish I just got that instead) before applying the cateye polish. I just loved it all and can't wait to come back. Major plus was that V was so careful and didn't cut/nick my cuticles at all with the efile while removing the old polish/gel or during the prep and application of the builder gel!!! The shop is in a small standalone building off the main road and I missed it the first drive by. There are about 3 parking spots to the side of the building and about 4 behind the small storefront. Tips: Bring cash. There is a small fee for card payment but there is an ATM inside as well. Cost: $50 for builder fill (which is comparable and even on the lower end of what I've paid at numerous shops trying to find my one). Keep in mind I have shorter nails. Not sure if nail length will change the price. $10 for cat eye polish. Pretty standard up charge. read more

I went in before Halloween and had a gel manicure done with Kuromi charms done to match my costume. The technician didn't set my nails right and about a week later, they began to fall off doing basic things like driving -- and when they did, I realized that the layers of gel underneath the charm had never hardened fully. I went back to get help fixing it, and the technician again assured me that her fix would hold. Two days later, charms began falling from different nails with the same gooey, not hardened gel underneath. It took pure acetone to clean off of surfaces and left me seeking another salon for a new set vs. another unsuccessful repair. I figured, I wouldn't go back unless Thy could do my fingernails, because she's always on point, and continued going just for pedicures because the gentleman working always does really well for me. Today, I went in and he was busy so I received services from a younger tech. She didn't do any callus removal, barely removed dead skin around my cuticles, took maybe five minutes to provide a very light scrub and then about three minutes to massage once done. It was a drastically different experience than usual and I got home to nails not evenly coated, rough feet, and disappointment. I know this is a family run business, but I think some of the employees do not do their owner justice and unfortunately, I'll be driving further from now on. read more

My husband and I got classic pedicures ($50 each). I am sad the younger native lady that usually does my pedicure wasn't there cause she always does such an amazing job. I am never cheating on her again. I waited a good while in the tub to get service. I am disappointed because I noticed that they didn't use new tools (even the toe separator) on my feet after my husband, I got nipped, the gel polish pooled to my cuticle and was still cured. I asked if they clean it up and the tech just drilled it off and put cuticle oil on. I am jealous because my husband's pedicure came out so nice and he doesn't even wear sandals out! Self care day comes rarely for us and I wanted this day to be special. read more

What a cute place with amazing massage chairs! T, the owner, is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares for her clients. My pedicure massage was so relaxing and my manicure was wonderful! I called three other places with no answer saying they'd get back within 24 hours and when a girl is in a mood NOW to get pampered, she can't wait. Called "T" and she immediately made room for me!
