    Floating TV console

I hired 4OD to install a floating TV console on my wall. They were quick to respond and quoted me a fair price. DJuan arrived on time and was polite and knowledgeable. He took precise measurements to ensure that my console would align perfectly under my TV and he made sure to find the wood studs inside the wall. DJuan even gave me some recommendations for another home project that I had been thinking about. I am extremely pleased and would absolutely hire 4OD again!

In addition to being reasonably priced, D'Juan went above and beyond when I asked if he could help me measure the dimensions of my rental property.

Always 10/10…read more Always a fun stop! IKEA has stylish, budget-friendly furniture and clever storage solutions. We did our play room upgrade using the Kallax storage system, it's one of the best things. We also love touring the showroom, it gives me so many ideas for house projects.

I like the store and most of the products (Though shame on you IKEA for removing the Ektorp line…read morefrom North America and replacing it with the inferior Uppland line, yet continue carrying it overseas.) however their delivery vendors need better vetting. I have had extremely bad experiences twice - once in 2016 and now in December 2025. In 2016, I was given a delivery window and they did not show. I allowed a two hour grace period because I lived in Fredericksburg and IYKYK. But at hour four, I started looking for ways to contact the vendor. Back then, you could call customer service and get them to call the vendor and have them call you. The vendor called and said delivery was attempted but they could not locate the residence and I did not answer when they called. Not true. If you ever have waited for something like a scheduled delivery or service call, YOU SIT BY YOUR PHONE, RIGHT??? No missed calls. I asked to speak to the driver who then said they would have left it out front, but it did not look like a good area. In front of what? If the could not find it, how would they know what the area looked like. I sent photos of my street to show the management my side of the argument- they should have been able to locate it. Especially since I described the location in detail in delivery instructions along with my phone number if they had questions. My delivery fee was not returned and I declined redelivery. I went to IKEA in three trips and 50 year old, 5ft , girly me with no coordination and even less upper body strength dragged in two dressers, a cabinet, two bookcases, and a desk. Fast forward (or not) to today. My delivery window was 8-12. At 1:30 I tracked the delivery through the app, but all it gave me was the time window. It did give me the option to text the driver. I chose the custom text option (you can choose to have the driver call you or send them a custom text) and texted them to please let me know when they'd be arriving. At 1:45, chose the call me option. At 2:00, I texted, "CONTACT ME BY 2:15 TO TELL ME WHEN YOU WILL BE HERE OR THE TIP THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN CUT IN HALF WILL BE ZERO!" At 2:30, I get a text saying, "Sorry for the delay. On my way." I asked "When?" Thirty minutes later he texts back between 4-5 - when I can't be home. So he will have to leave it outside the garage and I'll get to drag it in then unbox and move pieces in bit by bit. I understand that things run behind (thus the two hour buffer). But if you can't deliver until 4 or 5pm (It's the DC Metro area...Vaya con Dios) then DON'T SAY BETWEEN 8am-12pm. If you can, order online and go pick it up at the order pick up queue. Much less of a headache.

I wasn't sure what to expect when coming in here, but it was kind of what I needed. Going to a regular IKEA store can be daunting, but this location kind of hits the nail on the head if you kind of already know what you have in mind and just kind of want to see it for yourself. Yes, it is correct, like the one other review, it is basically a showroom. I've been to one of these before overseas and I really enjoyed it. I was happy to stumble across one like that here. Coming in, it does almost feel sterile and out of place. Like it's a set for a show. But obviously not. What was really funny in here was that when I first walked in and was greeted I was immediately told where the actual bathroom is. Not sure if that is because a lot of customers come in here in hopes of using the facilities or I looked like I needed to use the facilities myself (I did not). With that out of the way, I went about looking in the store. I already knew what I wanted and even though it was not currently on display in this store, I was able to find what I wanted. See, they have touchscreens that will allow you to browse everything IKEA has to offer. Once I did find the exact item and color I made my way to the register. There, the same lady directing me to the facilities, helped me out. Yes, even though this is a showroom, you can order your items here. I did just that. I told the lady what I wanted, since I just looked it up myself and she had in the system in no time. As for having the item in hand, you can have it delivered to your doorstop. I mean, you've gone this long without the item, why do you need it in your hands right then and there? Don't get angry because what you didn't have all along you still don't have. Look on the bright side, you will have that item shortly. Or, do like I did, ask if you can have it set aside at a nearby store. I live closer to the College Park location and they were able to make sure that it would be set aside for pickup. Check out and pay in this store and the next day I was able to pick up my item there. It saved me so much hassle.

By the time we caught the error, it was too late, our countertops had already been cut. Then the sink scratched within the first week just by putting a room temperature pan on it. Unfortunately the customer service from there was horrendous. They wouldn't issue any refunds of any kind, or offer to replace the sink. And it took months to go through the process with them not informing us of their decisions each step of the way. Each time we had to call and wait 30+ minutes on hold. Terrible experience and one our contractors now plan to use as a cautionary tale with future customers. All they had to do was make it right and they refused to.

Let's establish something upfront: this is a cafeteria. A furniture store cafeteria. And yet…read moresomehow it's outperforming half the "fast casual concepts" that have colonized every strip mall in America, which says everything about IKEA and absolutely nothing flattering about the rest of the industry. If my high school had been running this operation, I might have actually attended lunch instead of my daily ritual of despair and vending machine chips before AP Calculus. Solid soups. Texas toast that respects itself. A rotating cast of cold and warm dishes that -- brace yourself -- includes responsibly sourced seafood. In a place where you also buy flat-pack bookshelves. Now let's talk strategy, because eating here without intel is leaving money on the table. Those little gift cards in your IKEA advent calendar? Spendable on meatballs. You're welcome. Family card gets you free fountain drinks and coffee, which in this economy is practically a financial aid program. And if you wander toward the right tables, some have cableless phone charging stations built in -- because IKEA apparently thought of that while your favorite brunch spot still can't figure out how to make eggs over easy. Traveling with small children who have opinions? The restaurant is a legitimate tactical retreat. Food is simple enough to survive contact with a picky five-year-old, and there are interactive toy stations nearby to occupy whoever is about to lose it -- including, statistically, at least one adult. And finally: the lingonberry jam. You may dip anything you want into it here. Meatballs. Chicken strips. Texas toast. Existential dread. No one will stop you. No one will judge you. This is the one place on earth where the lingonberry is not a garnish but a governing philosophy, and honestly? That's more than most restaurants can say about anything on their menu.

Upon ordering, the website said if we ordered now, we would receive the order within a week. Early in April , we received 1 of the 3 barstools. We assembled it immediately so my Dad could start enjoying it. We noticed it had a tear on the arm. We called BB&B and reported the damage. The representative said he could send out "the replacement part" immediately. We were initially with their customer service. We could just replace the arm of the chair. Little did we know, a day later, the rep would send an email saying their partner was not able to send the "part"....would I like a replacement or a refund? We decided to keep the damaged barstool and wait for the arrival of the remaining 2 barstools. Later we were told the 2 barstools had been lost prior to arrival and they didn't have any more in stock. As soon as they became available, potentially in June or July, we would receive a new package tracking to update the delivery date. We waited patiently for the 2 missing barstools for 5 months as they strung us along. They finally let us know, by email advertisement, the barstools were back in stock, and we should begin shopping for them. Shopping for them? Where is the new tracking information they promised when the back-ordered barstools were back in stock? They were acting like they didn't owe us anything. All we requested was for BB&B to fulfill the order. In my opinion, once they charged my father's credit card for the 3 barstools, they had a contractual obligation to provide 3 barstools. Our inquiry, a few days later, revealed our request for the 2 barstools or a partial refund was denied by management. They kept giving us supposed options like a refund....but we could only get a refund if we returned the entire order. We couldn't return the entire order because we didn't receive the entire order; or we could contact the vendor and activate the warranty....but we couldn't activate the warranty when we only had 1 chair. Plus, once we attempt to communicate with the vendor, BB&B will exit the picture, along with the money they kept on the unfilled order. We continued to request escalation of our case to management. They continued to confirm the issue had been escalated. We don't believe it ever was. We believe we were in so-called negotiations with the Help Desk. Their final "offer" was to keep the 1 chair, which we already planned to do. If we didn't want the chair, we could throw it away or donate it. They said they would refund us our money....in the form of a store credit. We told them we were handing this situation over to the credit card company. We were done communicating with them. I have said all of this so everyone reading this review can see what our experience was with Bed Bath & Beyond. When you know, you know
