Buttermilk pancakes
Rainier S.

The buttermilk pancakes were devine! Coffee was good, service was good too considering it was the Easter long weekend Saturday. Got a perfect table by the open bay windows and got to really take in the sights and sounds of the little town. Would definitely recommend coming here if you're ever out this way.

Perfect flat white... And it was as delicious as it looks.

This place is the real deal which is quite rare for south coast tourist strips. Great coffee, prepared with love and attention to detail. Beautiful, tasty and original breakfast menu that will keep you coming back to try the next item on the list. I had zucchini fritters served with the tastiest fresh herb and soy bean salad. Mind blowing and delicious!

Rhubarb jam filled brioche breakfast yum yum!
Ashley P.

Had a flat white with the rhubarb jam filled brioche on the breakfast menu. Best breakfast meal I've had in ages! If you're wanting a sweet meal, that's the one to have. I can't wait to return to have that same dish! Yum!

There were virtually no other options around. As a result of low supply and high demand, prices skyrocket. Fish and chips sounded good since I was by the sea, and with low expectations, I was actually blown away. The fish and chips were very lightly battered, golden crisp perfection, the right amount to actually taste the fish and get that fishy texture on your teeth (hate when fish and chips just taste like batter). Fish tasted very fresh and actually had some flavor - most places use cheap, tasteless fish with fish and chips. The chips were, well, chips, but I liked the consistency and not overly salty as I've found is common in Australia. The staff was a bit sarcastic when I requested tomato sauce, which caught me off guard, but not a big deal. Added a Coke for a few bucks extra. Note: they charge more for dine in than they do for take away, and it's presumedly not much difference in portion size. I saved $3 by getting take away and eating on the beach, I highly recommend you do the same! In summary, you'll pay a hefty price for meals here since there isn't any competition around, but you will be able to taste the quality in the ingredients, so I can undoubtedly recommend popping in if you're hungry and can't wait til you get to the next town.

We had the most awesomely delicious flakey fresh fish and chips from here…read more Maybe it's because fish and chips tastes better when you've escaped the city and are sitting on a beautiful beach such as Hymans... but yes, it was wonderful. Takeaway is $12 and dine-in menu seemed bit more expensive. The buglers looked killer too. That would have been next if we had any stomach room to spare. The store has a few essentials, didn't shop around much. Seemed like some nice and more gourmet options than your normal milk bar.
