The interior was pretty nice, had a giant bar at the back side and also a separate space with one billiard board and couple of shuffle boards. There were TVs all around playing the World Cup game. The AC was broken, so they had some air blowers pumping air. They were really a burger place with the menu having 50 different types of burgers. They had chili, salad and wings too. I ordered the 10 jumbo wings, which were roasted style with moist soft meat inside. I got the garlic parmesan and spicy Caribbean jerk sauces on the side, but none of tasted like their names. I really liked the Rueben burger. But the side of coleslaw was somewhat busy disappointing, was straight up lifeless cabbage thrown in a bowl, had no cream whatsoever. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday, not very crowded so we were quickly seated and waited on. A large selection of beer and burgers. If you want anything besides burgers you are out of luck. I ordered a Maine blueberry lager. I usually go for a hearty heavy stout but wanted something light and refreshing and the blueberries really stood out. Juicy and delicious and served on a buttered and grilled bun. The tots were a big portion and went perfectly with the ketchup that took a bit of hot sauce for some zing. On the plus side, I worked off a whole bunch of calories sitting at a table near a power outlet so that I could churn out a bunch of Yelp reviews before ambling down the highway towards home. We met some friends here at around 4 pm a couple of Saturdays ago. I will admit, the aesthetics are not great. Utilitarian chairs and tables on a concrete floor with an interesting wrap around double bar in the back. It's sort of cavernous so if you get cold take a jacket. They have a stage which I suppose is for entertainment? I did really enjoy the music- that day it was 80/90s/2000s rock. The draft beer selection wasn't great for my taste; I prefer ABV of 9% or above and they had none. Opted for a barrel bourbon stout in the bottle and it was great! The burgers were really good; the only problem we all had was items were spilling off the plate; we all agreed they need bigger plates for those monster and good burgers! Not worth it! I will be calling the manager about my very poor experience tomorrow (was busy after eating). The wait staff was some of the worst I have ever seen! Really wasn't the restaurant I had issues with my review is a "direct result" of the staff!!! The wait staff didn't listen to a single request and follow through. Two strikes, I'm out. On the first go, I thought the ambiance was okay. Warehouse-style bar room with games and a stage and simple hardware fixtures. Pros: Many beer options, and the burger was cooked medium as requested. Cons: Shoestring fries were greasy (sweet potato option n/a), and our table of 7 all agreed they shorted us on burger toppings. Whether it was cheese or mushrooms or bacon or even peanut butter, there was barely enough to notice. We provided this feedback about the toppings to our server, and I had no interest in returning...but we did tonight. Round 2 was more disappointing because this time, my burger was over-cooked. Again, my toppings were lacking. The bread tasted day(s) old. Since I knew I didn't like the fries, I asked for coleslaw, which was inedible. I've heard of creamy coleslaw and vinegar-based slaw, but I've never had dry slaw. Unseasoned shredded cabbage does not a cole slaw make. I was surprised the server didn't even ask about it when he took it away, obviously uneaten. No offer to bring something else or ask how it was - just not paying enough attention. And our dining companions weren't impressed either. The cheesy tots were dry and skimpy on the cheese. The chili got a nice compliment, but I won't return to a burger joint for chili. If you're gonna open a dining establishment with a particular schtick, make sure you do that one thing well. Really confused how this place has the reviews and amount of stars that it does. My burger came out with an unripe comically small piece of avocado, less than a teaspoon of sauce, and no bacon like was indicated on the menu. The $13 boneless bites were disgusting. Old grease and the taste of fish combine to create rock hard over priced boneless wings. My husband got the Mac & cheese and pork bbq burger and it had zero flavor. The Mac and cheese was tasteless and just looked like it was old or even from the day before. Arguably the worst part of this place is the fries. Idk how you mess up fried but they did. Update Aug 2021: stopped in on a beautiful Sunday for lunch and opted for outdoor seating. We arrived around 12:15pm and surprised that it wasn't packed, but by 1:00 it was! Once again we had a great experience. It has been almost a year between visits so there were several new menu items and of course new beers on tap. It took us a while to figure out what we wanted because EVERYTHING sounds so good. My husband went with the George Washington burger and really liked it, although he wished the slice of apple was a little thicker. I had the Reuben burger and it was so good (messy but delicious)! We walked away absolutely stuffed and skipped dinner because neither of us were hungry! I think next time I'll eat half and take the other half home. The staff is always super nice.
