They did my daughters nail (gel) and acrylic fill in for me. Her nails polish started to come off 4 days after getting them done. My polish started to come off in 1 day. I complained and went back to get them fix since they said i could return. I did. However, it ended up even worse than the first time. The acrylic and polish came off within 2-3 days and left my nails beyond weak and smaller!!! Such a NICE BEAUTIFUL spot and cool service BUT the nails did not last at all!! The place looked really clean when I went in there. The place looks modern and up-to-date. I requested to get my manicure and pedicure done. I walked-in without an appointment. I didn't mind waiting for 30min. They did my pedicure first. I like how they use a new plastic bag to cover to cover the "bowl" for me to dip my feet in. However, when I was asked to put my foot in, it was too hot. I felt like I could have burned myself. I got my manicure done. They cut one of my nails too short compared to the rest. Again, they were not cognizant of the temperature. They opened this package "glove with lotion" for me to slip my hand in, and I quickly took my hands back out because it was really hot. When they tried to file my nails, they kept rubbing the filer against my skin. As you can see, my nail polish seems like it was done by a rookie. I would do a better job than that I was also told that they would charge me an extra $5. When I went to the cashier, they charged me an extra $8. Now thinking about it, I shouldn't have given them the kind of tips that I gave for the service. If you look closely, theres a clear line all around the nails. Why is that happenings? It was an awful experience. For eyebrow peel off the skin with waxing and three people helped each other with eyebrows and ended up having lots of bumps scars and scratches. For the nail service, they don't give time to choose color and promoting pricy nail service like chrome or gel. After all this asking to pay 15% to 20% of tip to each which I believe it's customer's choice. They all gathered at the counter to make sure keep pressure on the customer to pay tips. It's interesting to read the reviews of "regret" and "do yourself a favor of not going" as my experience was the opposite. All the women at the nail place are super nice and accommodating. I went with a few friends and one of their daughters and all were treated with respect and patience. Melody is the store manager and does nails as well as eyelash extensions. She took her time and my lashes lasted for over a month and I wear makeup and workout 5 times a week. I've never felt rushed out of the place unlike some other places. They do this great hand mask for their regular manicures that I've never experienced before unless it's for a spa manicure. The place is new, spacious and very clean. This review is after completing 5 lash sessions and 1 mani/pedi. I feel this place is extremely dishonest and I will no longer be their customer. I had Mia for mani/pedi, it wasn't the best mani/pedi I have gotten in the area, it felt rushed and not all cuticles were well taken care of and it is on the more expensive side. The polish came out so messed up that I took it off when I got home. The only comment Mia said was next time, pick a different color, this advice would have appreciated before she completed the mani. My friend had recommended lash services by Momo, before I became a customer, I called and specifically requested Momo. Day of service, the lady said she was Momo, she signed the service card as Momo. Second session, I requested Momo again, they said Momo not there, and the tech who will be performing the service is just as good. 1 that is a lie, she was not as good, there were clumps of lashes glued together and I can feel dots of glue on my lashes. It wasn't a clean adhesion. Then the lady told me the previous person who did my lashes is not even Momo! They have all the services on the system and it wasn't Momo who did the service. I had signed up for package of 4 lash refills which they were pushing, so either way I would be back to complete my package. Today was my last session. I admit, it was my fault for coming a few days beyond the 3 weeks. I was like 4-5 days over. The receptionist said I had to pay an extra $30 on top of my package for a new set. I felt that was a bit unfair since I still had a lot of lashes left, but they said that's the policy. I had to request for a new bed liner, which they don't change after each customer. The tech starts to take off some of my old lash extensions, after she was done, I felt my lashes and felt a good amount of extensions left. I asked for a mirror, she said I'm not supposed to open my eyes. I said its already open, can I see a mirror? Of course, there were more than 60% of lashes still. Tech said she will be taking those extensions off as she's adding new ones in. First that doesn't make sense, why would that be easier than just taking all the old off and then replacing with new. Second, as a customer who've done lashes for years, I know the feeling and sound of taking off lashes with a tweezer which is what they do versus when they add the extensions. I clearly did not get a new set. When I head to the receptionist to pay, I told her that I don't think it is fair for me to pay for a new set, if I didn't get a new set. The technician had the audacity to say she removed all the old lashes without a blink of an eye. I paid the $30, gave the technician $10 tip instead of my usual $20 tip and will be returning to my old lash tech in LIC who does not care the time between sessions, but rather how many lashes are needed for the replacement. The location is convenient, but that is about it, they are a total cheat and inconsistent with services. read more

This is a NAIL place, NOT an eyelash place. From 10/19 until 11/25 I was there 4 times for my lashes. A Groupon lured me there. Mistake #1. Today was the 5th time I was there in 5 weeks, but I walked out because they refused to fix what they did on 11/25 without charging me for a 1 week refill. Every visit I was not satisfied. I'd show them a picture of what I wanted and they would give me something completely different. They also "switch" technicians in the middle of the service! That happened twice! One girl starts, and when your eyes are taped shut another tech takes over. When I told them I wanted "Cynthia" the technician today told me her name was Cynthia, but I know it wasn't. Cynthia was a different tech, taller and more slender and didn't have 3 inch nails!!!! I cut my loses and walked out today when I saw the tech had 3 inch nails and I was afraid of getting poked in the eye, on top of being afraid of another shoddy job. I was there 11/25, left unhappy, tried to go back today and they said a week had gone by, but one of those days was Thanksgiving! Like I said, they are a nail place, they have no idea how to do eyelashes. Bad business decision to let me walk out of there without fixing them. Back to my old place! I got a power manicure rom Sharon. She was very nice and professional. She did a great job. The place is lovely and very clean.

We had 3 regular pedicures done and they charged us for 3 mani/pedi without asking. Then when asked about the pricing the woman was laughing it off and refunded us the difference after correcting her math a 2nd time. Only one pedicure was worth the money spent. For the other two, nails were cut slanted and no base coat was applied before polish. It was a rush job for both and the technicians were not paying attention. I wanted to go home and change but after a long week and knowing the place closes at 7:30, I decided to modify my appointment to the following day. I called and changed it to 11am. The nail technician was great but the manager/ owner (whoever runs the front desk) didn't have good customer service. I walked in at 11:05 on a Saturday and it was empty. I was getting my nails done and she came over to see how I liked the color. Then proceeded to interrogate me on why I needed to change my appointment if I only got a trim. "It took you two hours to get a trim, but you had a 7pm appointment?" She asked me three times about it. IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, not privately. I tried to have the benefit of the doubt because they are new. But then she was trying to sell me on their membership card and to leave a good review. I told her I will not be returning and she really didn't care. She wanted a Google review, so here is my honest review. I am embarrassed and angry at this situation. This didn't have to happen.
