The 2025 Tacco Festival is known as the Viva Taco Fest or Festival depending on what sign or…read morewebsite you are looking at. It's held in North Las Vegas at Craig Ranch Park on Craig Road. Tickets were $15.00 this year but you could purchase tickets early and pay $13.00 a person. This got you in but other purchases are separate. Besides tacos this also is a Dia De Muertos Festival and other activities. Parking was free and close. As you enter there are LOTS of venders selling all kinds of things. Then you see all large section of Day of the Dead displays. Then you finally get to most of the food venders. A little further is a stage with blaring loud Mexican Music and nearby are covered seating areas and more venders and porta potties. Th is billed as the largest taco festival in the country. I didn't count the actual amount of different taco venders but it seemed like a lot less than other taco festivals I've attended. A lot of the food venders weren't even selling tacos. Also for some odd reason you can't do any research on the taco venders. A list of the venders doesn't appear anywhere so you have to pick what you try blindly. By FAR the very best tacos we tried came from Mr Papas. But we had to wait terribly long for them in the sunny sun. It was only 80 degrees but if felt like 100 since it was sunny. There were only a few people in front of us but it seemed like it all took forever. This spoiled it for us because after we tried their amazing tacos that were so mighty flavorful everyone else's sucked. I'll be on the look out for Mr Papas tacos but might be passing on future taco festivals. I like the Dia De Muertos Displays and it's nice that they have so many merchandise venders. I don't like that they don't publish a list of venders. Our local newspaper and local TV should do stories on the taco festival. They sure don't do enough. I find it strange.

Pricing isn't bad for the food rider and it's nice to get to try different places you normally wouldn't. The music is always fun and festive, and everyone is super nice. There's tons of shopping and activities going on everywhere you go. This year has been the biggest yet and it was great!! I'm glad the paved the parking lot too!!

Had a great time at Craig Ranch Vegas Festival of Lights…read more Located in North Las Vegas off of Craig Rd. There was plenty of parking. You must purchase your tickets on line and pick a time slot to attend so they can comply with social distancing . As we entered all out temperatures were checked and we were told that we had to keep our masks on at all times. There are different price ranges to enter depending if you want to go on rides or not. Children under 3 years of age enter for free but if they want to go on rides you have to buy tickets . The lights were beautiful . There were not that many rides but the ones they did have before you could ride they would wipe them down after the other riders were done riding. Fun night out more on the expensive side but able to see family and stay distant and be outside

It felt like we had the place to ourselves! My family and friends had a great time. It's $10 plus…read more$2 in fees online just for entry to the lights. The rides make it worth it so I would recommend the 2 or 4 pack entry plus unlimited rides for $44 or $88. It's open until January 7th so check it out! LIGHTS General entry gets you access to the lights and the lights have to be walked through or you can take the train. You also have to walk through all the lights before getting to the games. The signs weren't that great for this especially at night so good luck! The lights are really nice and synchronized to music. They also have a train to take you through the lights. Train is $3 per person or 2 for $5. CASH ONLY. The train comes around about every 15 minutes. I highly recommend the train at the end of the night to go through the lights and to get back to the exit. RIDES They had a swing ride, Ferris Wheel, Roller coaster, Cups spin ride and Slide and bouncy houses. The swing ride has a strict 52" or you can't ride at all. All of the others have height restrictions that are good for most kids above about 3 years of age. It was nice because the rides had little to no wait. They sanitize between each ride. I think if it's not too busy and kids want to go twice in a row they should just let them and it would save wait time for sanitizing and going again. Also, they had to share rides operators for some of the more popular rides so you had to wait an extra long time if you didn't time it right. I get that the crowd probably isn't big enough to have ride operators everywhere, but they also didn't need 4 people just for checkin. GAMES They had a few games throughout and it seemed like everyone was a winner because there weren't that many people. The one game we played the kids won and it made them happy. FOOD They have food right when you walk in and close to the rides. I recommend waiting until you are close to the rides if you want food because you have a pretty long walk through the lights before you go to the rides. You don't want to have to carry anything extra. Hot chocolate is $5, Hot dogs are $5. All prices are typical fair prices. Overall everyone had a great time! During COVID times I appreciate that places like this are available for the kids to have some fun. I thought it was done nicely and the crowds were minimal. I recommend since tickets are through event brite that they offer to buy train tickets and food packages online so you don't need cash. I also think a game or 2 should be included with the unlimited pass. We would do it again and some the proceeds go to opportunity village so it's a good cause.

Plan on walking your legs off due to the way the parking, entrance, and exits are set up. For some reason this year they installed a huge piece of astroturf at the front entrance. Trip hazard! Watched there as a lady tripped and fell right in front of me. I asked if she was ok and then I told her she should report her accident to someone at the festival. Next thing I know a guy claiming to be the general manager was trying to throw me out for telling her to report her incident to them. I explained that I was on my way out anyway and happened to see the lady trip and fall in front of me where I was pausing on my long journey back to the dirt parking lot. His manner was threatening and I asked him to step away from me. She was on the ground right there by me and he clearly couldn't care less if she was ok. He told the lady that the City gave them the park this way and then indicated that he had put down the wadded up synthetic grass she had tripped on. Luckily I had several family members there to witness what happened. Don't waste any part of your life at this supposed festival. It has devolved into a low-budget event that is run by seeming thugs. If you don't look Polynesian plan to be mistreated and disrespected at this inappropriately named event. I grew up in North Las Vegas and I am embarrassed that the City is willing to host such a poorly run event that is operated by bullies. . Never have seen such a terrible response to an accidental incident at a public event.
