Quite surprised to see reasonable buffet prices still exist on O'ahu. Thank you to my SIL for finding one and making brunch reservation. I didn't eat any breakfast and saved my appetite for Mother's Day Brunch. Checked in ballroom on the right next to 604 Ale House. Highly recommend making reservations. This location was packed. Must have military ID or access to drive to Schofield Barracks. Loved sitting at round table. Conducive to conversations. Live local music. Complimentary photos provided from photography vendor. Beautiful nature scenery outside in back. Separate restrooms prior to entrance. Stations included main buffet line, prime rib, omelette, waffle bar with desserts. Watch out for nuisance fly that goes in and out of ballroom. Close cover for each dish at main buffet line. Our Server visited us numerous times to ask us if we needed anything, ensured water and beverage refills, removing plates. Here's the verdict: Beverage concerns were couple of family members stated coffee tasted burnt. My hubby said his iced tea tasted too sweet. California Poke and Potato Crab Salad were more on the wet side and contained more mayo. The only difference is California Poke tasted a little spicy and Potato Crab Salad was mild. Somen Salad and Oriental Chicken Salad along with respective dressings were on point. Barely tasted garlic in Garlic Mashed Potatoes, yet creaminess is sufficient when consuming with prime rib. My husband and I agreed that prime rib lacked in seasonings on top and taste. Chef did well in honoring my request for well done prime rib. Horseradish and au jus fit right in. Cheese, mushrooms, peppers and spinach were definitely fresh and prepared well in omelette. However, I'm disappointed that fresh eggs were not used in making the omelette. Noticed it in taste and texture. Pork Adobo Fried Rice was made and tasted too wet. Save your appetite for an adobo fried rice elsewhere. Culmination of ingredients for mushroom and spinach Alfredo went well together. Unfortunately, pasta was over cooked. Steamed fresh catch w/ cilantro ginger was the star and highlight of the day. Coconut danish and guava danish cleansed palate and added a nice touch for desserts. No doubt quantity exceeded expectations while quality fell short. read more

What I love most is every concept is different with some similar items on the menu but yet all different as well. 604 Ale House is the latest concept. They are located on Schofield Barracks across from Schofield Inn. The location was previously "Kolekole Bar & Grill." Let me tell you, they've definitely spiced this place up! It is a fun sports bar vibe! All your favorite NFL teams jerseys, helmets, etc! Tons of TVs so you can watch your favorite sporting events! They also took over the banquet side. Ot is perfect for meetings, wedding receptions, retirement ceremonies and more! So what did we have on our venture? We had: *Buffalo Burger (with fries) *The GOAT burger (with fries) *Sautéed Mushrooms *Fried Pickles *Blue Hawaiian Drink *Strawberry Fizz *Bikini Blonde Ok so you know how in a commercial they show this big burger, then you go to the restaurant and it is this smashed up small burger? Well guess what, they're burger is fluffy and big! Honestly, I had to cut it up because it wouldn't fit in my mouth! Like it is big big! Lol Always love their fries. Good flavor, and fresh! I like the fried pickles but personal preference, I love to dip them in ranch. For the sautéed mushrooms, I see them more for a higher end restaurant. Sports bar restaurant, I think fried. Would prefer fried mushrooms with ranch from an appetizer standpoint. I am looking forward to coming back for their buffalo wings! I love them at their main 604 location so I am sure this will be a favorite. Drinks were delicious! The strawberry fizz was refreshing! The frozen strawberry iced cubes, what a fabulous touch! Blue Hawaiian was light and the perfect flavor! Not to mention picture perfect! ;) Ok now on to one of the most important parts...the service! Our server was Jess and she was absolutely awesome! Very thorough, knew the menu, and even brought us a drink that was made by mistake. I also love how they all work as a team. If your drink from the bar or food from the kitchen is ready and your server is occupied, other team members bring it to ensure it doesn't sit. I love that vibe! Team work makes the dream work is their jam and I love it! :) For those living & working on Schofield, what a needed add! Also, don't worry if you don't have military credentials/base access, you can still eat here! Go through Lyman gate and go to the visitors check in. This is for their Easter Brunch. 4/17/22 Overall the experience here was good. Pros: 1. Good food the mac salad was really delicious 2. Lots of food options and I think the menu was perfect. 3. Great deal for $29 an adult with the amount and quality of food you really can't go wrong! 4. We got to sit outside and they had a beautiful garden with grassy area that was great because my little ones got to run around while we ate 5. The Easter egg hunt and bunny photo op area was a nice touch 6. I like how the eggs didn't have candy. That was amazing! Thank you so much for putting toys, stickers, etc.. My son loves the slap wrist bracelet. Improvements: My only issue was with the organization of the Easter egg hunt 1. Give someone a microphone to calm the madness and get people in order. 2. Set a limit to how many eggs each child should have. I saw kids with over 70 eggs! It's totally selfish and greedy as to why a child should need that much and why the parents allowed that. 3. Don't allow older children to go and walk around opening eggs and marking where all the golden eggs are. There should be a little more monitoring of the area to prevent that. We will definitely be back to eat at the restaurant and hope they do another Easter egg brunch next year. It's truly a great value and my kids had a fun time! Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of food at this 604 location. 604 is known for its great food and hospitality. I don't know if it's because it is on the base. Here we go. John, my nephew and I decided to eat at 604 to celebrate his re-enlisting. We waited for aomwoke just to come initially seat us. Long wait. They weren't even that busy. Our server was super friendly. Helpful and she was working several tables. The food came. My fish was super over cooked, hash browns cold. Hubby's bowl was barely warm. While my nephews food was super hot. So I'm thinking that our food sat while waiting for Nephew's food to cook. I just asked for a to go box. I'd give my fish to Zeus our doggie. Guess what- Zeus didn't even want to fish. I'll stick to the other 604 locations next time. $75 wasted. read more

Two females that worked last night during the last hour offered awful customer service. They did not acknowledge us when we were seated, although, looked right at our party as they talked to each other and were laughing obnoxiously. They went to two other tables and treated people at the bar area and did not come to us until about 20 minutes later just to tell us sorry for the wait and resorting to leaving again without even offering to take our drink order. One of them resorting to being all giggly with a man at the bar. We did not order any food or receive any water. We left. By the 30 minute mark. Do not recommend coming here, there are so much better options - those with the aloha spirit - that don't involve inconsiderate and thirsty workers. Only giving 4 stars since they charged me for fries and it said "don't make" on the receipt but yet I was still charged for it. I didn't realize why it seemed so expensive till I left and took another look at the receipt. Besides that incident, food was yummy and perfect temp. I drive past this new 604 location twice a week for work and noticed one of the flags roadside says "shakes" so I dragged my little family on base for a Wednesday dinner We were seated quickly, greeted by our server quickly. Beer was served quickly and the food came out quickly too I can rave all day about this Browns Burger. If you like loco moco you will not be disappointed with this! I upgraded to dynamite fries (wasabi Mayo and sriracha Mayo drizzle topped with furikake) which were good but I think I would have liked plain fries better with the gravy A little pricey but everything was pretty good - we also had fried pickles and spinach dip, my little had corn dog bites with fries and the mister ordered the GOAT with onion rings. This place has all the soldiers fooled. This is nothing but frozen/processed/fried food. A $14 boiled hotdog, a $20 premade hamburger patty and the smallest fried shrimp you could ask for. We are fans of the 604 Restaurants so definitely wanted to try 604 Ale House. I guess we didn't do our research too well as we weren't expecting it to be a sports bar. It wasn't too busy so service was quick and our food came out nice and hot. We had the Deep Fried Pickles for our appetizer. They were tasty but a little too greasy. But we ate them all! I had the Garden Burger and upgraded to the onion rings. It was served on a nice taro roll and had lettuce, tomato, Avocado, an onion ring and their special sauce. It was very good but incredibly messy! My Husband had the crispy fried chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. I was disappointed that they didn't have coffee and we were thinking there would be regular plated meals, not just burgers, pupus & wings. Kids eat free on Wednesdays and they have a cute little logo shop. The employees we met were all really nice, we had a nice time overall. Looking forward to trying their weekend brunch. read more

Avoid this place at all costs, the service here is beyond subpar! Table of 11, over half the table waited for their food for over 25 mins after the first dishes were brought out. One of the members of our party left before his food arrived. I cancelled mine out of anger. It is unfortunate that this place is the only restaurant that we have on post, hopefully this company will lose its contract. Clearly they are not capable of properly training and staffing their personnel. This experience was not unique, as others in our party expressed having been through the same in previous occasions here. 0 stars would have been too many! First time here. Decided to take my nieces to dinner after a photoshoot. Been wanting to try this place since it is part of the 604 chain and it was a great experience, as always. Food was delicious and service was great! Our server tonight was Kinsey. She was sweet and attentive. It was a pretty slow night but I kind like the atmosphere. It is not a very big place at all unless they have outside seating that I am not aware of. The GB packer is the best! Ofcourse I had to try that one! GO PACK GO! and my bf had the Buffalo burger. It was good too. The garlic mayo and mushrooms in the GB burger sooooo flavorful! Ya'll gotta try to 604 shine also. It's a shot but you can sip if you want. I've tried to give this place so many opportunities. The food is always flavorless, no matter what you order. Even when they try a new item, like the pastrami sandwich, we were so disappointed. I usually stick to a salad and that's still not even good. The music is ALWAYS country, which is annoying. And I've asked if they can change it when literally my family is the only one in the establishment and they deny. The prices are beyond ridiculous! $13 for a basic salad with no protein, unless you want to pay 8$ for shrimp? That's insane, even for Hawaii. Last but not least, they used to offer Pabst blue ribbon on tap, which was a great affordable option to attempt to wash down the horrible food and now they took that off the menu! I have no reason to return to this establishment. 10/10 would NOT recommend to anyone. You'll enjoy a tornado at the shoppette more than anything they have on their menu. read more

Went for an Easter Brunch $45. Due to being on base & if you're not military be aware of the wait in car line to be ID'd, sat down to ask for everyone's (adults in car) SSNs, & to take a photo. Held in their banquet room & included brunch, entertainment, complimentary photo with the Easter bunny, 2 bounce houses, & an egg hunt for the kids. I feel it was worth it though the food was just okay. Variety of breakfast selections, salads, waffle station, prime rib, seafood boil. For the price it was good for everything included. One thing I didn't like was the flies, not a lot, just one is enough for me to be watchful of, especially when their was uncovered food items (salads, pastries, cut up of fruit, AND serving utensils). But it was ok , affordable, & egg hunt was fun for the kids. They should have had golden eggs for each age group though. ALL golden eggs were mostly "found" (by the parents) for the 5 & under group. read more

Been here several times already and I'm not one to usually leave reviews....but this place is awesome. Went in with some buddies and our waitress, AJ, was incredible. Attentive, kind, personable, and overall an incredible employee. It was fairly busy and she was constantly checking on us, making sure we were enjoying our meal. Sitting at the bar will get you just as amazing service. Michelle and Jennifer have got to be some of the friendliest bartenders I've ever had. Gotta try some of the house cocktails too. Went here for lunch on Friday afternoon. As a civilian you must enter the site at the Lyman gate where you stop for vehicle inspection and get a vehicle day pass. Make sure you have government ID, car safety pass and registration and insurance. Your GPS will get you to the restaurant where there is plenty of parking. As a walk-in I was seated within 15 min. Not bad as it allowed me to go use the very clean restrooms which are right at the front wait entry. Tables were nicely distanced apart and staff are all masked although among the guests, mostly military, none were masked. I guess on base is a different world. I kept my mask on until served. Brianna, our server, was a beautiful breeze of fresh air, warmly greeting us with a very strong Deep South accent. She informed us of the specials for the day which I always appreciate. We ordered and food took a little longer than expected for buffalo wings and garlic fries but was delivered nice and hot. I got to see order after order of delicious looking burgers delivered to the other tables. That's what the strength of our military is built on - the American hamburger!! Anyway - our garlic fries were da bomb! The wings were 8 beautifully sauced and perfectly cooked gems with lots of celery sticks and ranch dressing. Perfect! The lemonades were right on with refills provided. A lunch perfectly prepared just as I ordered it. And it didn't set me back too much - about $35. Good price. I was happy. Jumped back on the road and went on to finish up the rest of my day. If you're ever in the Schofield area at lunch time and need a comfortable place to be taken care of for a typically American fare lunch, this is the place! You'll be surrounded by our proud community of soldiers, ask for Brianna and her welcoming southern accent and bring a sweater. It was freezing cold in there! Next the 13$ spinach artichoke dip came in a container half filled and with a huge box of tortilla chips lol? How am I supposed to eat the chips when I run out of dip in a few scoops? Mozzarella sticks were decent size, price and amount and came with a tub of marinara that was more filled then the spinach artichoke dip I paid 13$ for. I so wanted this place to live up to its expectations we went to eat breakfast here on sunday 2/13/22 I had the 604 breakfast it came with rice, a hash brown, eggs, bacon, and Portuguese sausage. Literally tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. My husband got the steak and eggs for breakfast and the garlic was definitely still raw with the butter and the steak was a little too raw, I swear we heard it moo. My sister got the 604 burger which was really really good and juicy just covered in a ton of shredded lettuce. We all got a milkshake which was actually really good as well. As for the service, we noticed that it wasn't too busy at the time we got there, but it took forever for our waitress to even come up and get our drink order, when we got our food we noticed we didn't even have silverware at our table when we asked our server she took a while to get them. Nonetheless our server was really nice but it seemed like the staff didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. I heard so many good things about this place, maybe next time we'll stick to burgers and milkshakes or go somewhere where we get more for what we pay for. read more

I appreciate that someone is trying to "elevate" the space or whatever, but I just want my cozy greasy food back. Came in yesterday during lunch time for a quick bite. Servers and staff were all very kind. Upon arriving, even though it was during lunch time, we were quickly seated and staff came over to take our orders. They had a lemon drop shot on special which sounded good but we wanted more of a cocktail. The waitress offered to make the shot into a small cocktail instead. We both ordered one and they came out quickly. They were very refreshing and tasty. We ordered fried pickles for our appetizer. Unfortunately it didn't come out before the rest of the food and came out with our entrees but they were still fresh and had a great taste. We ordered the BLT and fried shrimp platter. Shrimp were large and had great taste. It came with fries and coleslaw. I didn't care for the coleslaw, it lacked flavor sadly but the fries were really good. Overall everything was good. Only wish is they had more healthy options, grilled shrimp instead of fried. They do offer salads but are very limited on options. Will be back! read more
