7-Elevens are to the DMV area like Sheetz are to Pittsburgh, except they are pretty gross. This particular ones, though I am only going on word of mouth from my boss, restroom was atrocious. The previous day we stopped at another 7-Eleven where I did use the restroom and found it to be utterly disgusting. He said this one made the one from the previous day look like it belonged in a five star hotel. I decide to skip the bathroom. I got a coffee. Meh. The clerks were less than friendly. No greeting or thank you, just $2.99. I would never eat anything here that an employee had to touch, which makes me question my decision on coffee. Thankfully I lived.

Disgusting.... toilet paper on the FLOOR!

By far the most DISGUSTING bathroom I've EVER been in!!!! My daughter and I went in and the floor was FILTHY, guess where the toilet paper was? If you guessed the floor, you are correct. So guess who couldnt wipe? Us. The sink was disgusting as was the toilet, and there was literal human poop rubbed on the cabinets. I am in shock and calling the department of health first thing in the morning!

The bathroom is terrible. They had no soap toilet paper and it looks really dirty. The floors even in the store are dirty.

Good service and convenient location for where we were. My boyfriend went inside to get cigarettes and cash back. No complaints on our end.

Met a friend at 1971 Coffee in Haymarket and immediately fell in love with this spot. The pistachio…read morelatte was absolutely heavenly--easily one of the best I've had. The owner is from Colombia, and there's a beautiful portrait in the shop representing coffee from her family's farms, which adds such a personal and meaningful touch. This place is as charming as it gets--cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. Great coffee, delicious sweets, and a solid selection of sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

BLUF: Lots of kinks in customer service and operations need to be worked out. Food was ok. Coffee…read moreitself was rather acidic but espresso drinks with all the extras added were more appealing. Cute shop but service negatively affected the overall experience. Walking in, we liked the vibe. The place is tight on space and it gets very busy and crowded on weekends. This coffeehouse has potential, but they're not showing their best right now. Bait and switch: Based on their menu, we did not at all receive what we were anticipating. It sounded so delicious on the menu. However, what we got was not what was posted and not one of the staff told us that they were out of what we ordered. Not at the time of ordering, not while we waited forever to get our food, not when the food finally came out. Some food was brought to us, some sat out on the counter forever (because the buzzers don't work) where other customers picked up their orders. Who knows how much spit ended up on the food! We kept munching and kept thinking something is missing. We looked under the bread and didn't see what was stated on the menu so we finally asked and were told they were out of what we ordered. Absolutely unacceptable but useless at this point after waiting 20+ minutes for sandwiches and beverages and being faced by someone extremely unapologetic and unmotivated to correct the situation. So, prices definitely not worth what you get here. Hit or miss in terms of food and beverages for both quality and taste. Disappointing that the coffee was so sour and bitter tasting. Hoping for a nice smooth cup. Everything we ordered and customer service received here...unreliable at best. Worth the drive? Nope. If in the immediate area and needing caffeine, maybe, but definitely not worth going out of your way. Parking tight on the weekends. Was so hoping to love this place because we need more independent warm, cozy, welcoming coffeehouses. But service, food, coffee at this point were all very disappointing. Big improvements in all areas? Well, maybe we'll return and try again, but the poor first impression received on this visit will be hard to motivate a return in order to improve this rating and review.

Price vs experience…read more For a 2 egg omelette, I spent almost $20, which did come with a generous fruit serving. Flavors were good but with a walk up dining experience price feels high, almost double from photos here on yelp. The experience, it was 58° outside but they had their ac on full blast, so cold I had to grab a jacket. The espresso machine was broken, so no coffee for me, would have gotten a tea, but didn't feel like paying the $6.29 for just tea from their disorganized kitchen. Broken furniture and the floors were dirty. Sorry guys, missed it for me.

As former locals who now live out of state it's become a tradition to grab a bite at our old favorite restaurant for lunch. I love the local artwork on display and for sale decorating the dining area, and the staff is always courteous and friendly. For a group of people who have multiple allergies Hidden Julles has remained just that for us. With two of us being gluten intolerant/celiac, one with a soy allergy, and the other two having tree nut and dairy allergies we are all able to find something delicious and eat. I'm also very fond of the gluten free muffins and my husband loves the cinnamon rolls. Their fresh pressed juices are also a favorite treat.
