Never DoorDash anything from this location!!! Worst service ever!! I ordered very specific items: Milk, Sprite, Ice Cream & Nutter Butters. I'm pregnant & don't have the energy to pick up myself. Instead I received a bunch of random products I don't like: (Dr Pepper is my least favorite soda, I can't eat 711 cookies being a diabetic, and the milk and sprite I never received was needed to alleviate indigestion.) Whoever packed this order today 4/29 Wednesday @6pm, obviously doesn't care about the selections, or customer satisfaction. They threw a bunch of random products in the bag and stapled it. 7-Eleven - Smh - Convenience Stores Near Me - Hermosa Beach, California

I've visited this 7-Eleven many times (day & night) over the years. Positives: The staff (manning the cash register & restocking the shelves) is always friendly and helpful. I consider that a huge accomplishment, given my guesstimates about the low pay they're probably receiving. Negatives: It's not uncommon to discover it's closed between 11pm and 1am. The person on duty is either not evident (on the toilet? on a smoke break?) or they are there but they make some gesture that suggests that their computer system is down, or they're on a cleaning cycle, or ??????. When they are not evident, there is rarely a sign in the window telling us why they're closed, and when there is such a sign, it never says when they expect to be back. During the witching hours (11pm to 5am), it's common to find broken glass strewn around the parking lot, putting tires at risk. Possible Causes: (a) Hermosa Beach is famous as a party town, and (b) there is a fair share of hobos in/around this store, but their hobo density is not as bad as the 7-Eleven on the corner of PCH & Torrance Blvd, and that 7-Eleven doesn't have a big problem with broken glass . . . . so, maybe (a) is the more likely culprit than (b). The big question is: can 7-Eleven Corporate command/nudge/incentivize their night manager/cashier to check and sweep the broken glass strewn in/around his parking lot? read more

I have a few different issues with this store. If you want to get begged for money every time you need to walk into a convenience store, come to this 7-11. It's near impossible to go to this location without having a shady character try to hustle you out of a few dollars. The store manager and employees must welcome this because it's ongoing all the time and extremely annoying. If you are a female, I would not come to this location at night, I wouldn't feel safe. Second, they often have things mispriced and don't care to fix it. The sticker will say one thing but it will ring up for more when it's taken to the register. The employees will simply tell you "tough" and don't even bother to correct the price. That is actually against California consumer laws but again they don't seem to care. Finally, the slushee machine is often broken. If it's not broken, the flavor you want will likely be the only one that's screwed up, it usually seems to work out that way. Of course you have to pay for the cup before you find out that it's broken and good luck getting any sympathy from the employees. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this location. It is a shit stain in what is otherwise a beautiful city. read more

Usually 7-11s are whatever they are. I don't expect a whole lot. I usually just wanna get my Slurpee and get out. This store though just seems to always have workers in bad moods and who just seem short and rude. There are enough other 7-11s nearby that I recommend going to those more than this particular one. read more

I'm giving this location a solid 3 stars...for the following reasons: 1) The coffee service area is kept clean and well stocked. That in itself is a blessing for a 7-11 or any convenience store... 2) The staff here can be seen cleaning the floors and shelves when there is a lull in the action. Kudos to you guys to keep the place somewhat clean. 3) Its very close to home...so a quick walk for advil or a cocoa is nice if needed. 4) The ATM works and if I make sure of my surroundings I don't feel like I'm gonna get shanked for getting money out. Now the negatives... 1) Parking at this location blows because of the other businesses and the tight fit between PCH and 5th. 2) Always police activity with the proximity to Hermosa's bar areas...and always weirdos lingering around... 3) I've seen a few items in the refrigerator cases that had passed expiration dates, be careful..!! 4) Prices...I still cannot get over charging $8 bucks for like 6 Advil because Target isn't open...that's just LUDA! This 7-11 is so lame. They hired a new guy at night and not only does he have a bad attitude. I came in several times and he smells like alcohol. This guy doesn't work at all, I always see him on his phone. I really am disappointed I used to love coming to this 7-11 even though it isn't close to my house but now I'd rather go to prospect or Artesia.I hope the owners can get it together like seriously bad customer service. read more

I'm giving a two star for not being happy with the situation today. I went in to buy some iced coffee and there were only two small cups. When wanting to use a bigger cup from the fountain drinks I was told I couldn't even after I said I would pay the diff. I was told that the owner doesn't allow it. Strange how the owner doesn't allow good customer service since it's not my fault they weren't stocked also, I walked to 7-eleven that day to find that they were out of stock (big bummer). So I ended up getting their last two small cups. After I payed the guy said they would have more cups later tonight. Sheesh I think the coffee being on sale for 99 cents was a big reason and if so don't put your product on sale then. Other 7-elevens let you use what ever cups they have. read more

7/11 in hermosa is pretty chill for the most part. The manager is super cool and they all greet you at the door. The only thing I would recommend them to do is hop on that new food case of pizza, wings, chicken fingers, etc that all the newer 7/11s have. They just need an upgrade. Living in hermosa for 7 years, literally right behind this convenient store, I've seen many employees come in and out. They've all been very friendly. Only one particular employee has managed to question my thoughts on his people skills who works late at night. After accusing me of stealing from the store which was completely out of line, I've lost a bit of respect for Rammon. But nonetheless, this is my 2nd kitchen Since im 20 steps away Good place to start pregaming for the hermosa bars if you don't want to spend so much money. And ofcourse for those latenight munchies. read more
