Went for the first time today. Great sized store. I've been going to an Asian market on State and…read morethis is so much closer with great options. The manager/cashier David was so helpful. I wanted to try new things and he explained how to cook things I hadn't tried before and helped me find an assortment of delicious looking items. Right when I got home I tried the frozen shrimp egg rolls, yum! Im excited to try the other things I picked up. Including canned rambutan fruit, duck eggs, and a spare ribs seasoning packet. I walked in with my…read morewalker, I am handicap, I got 8 Red bulls for the weekend, I placed them in my walker pouch and walked up to the counter, I let the ugly Red Head kid know I was looking around and I would be up shortly, he rudely snapped Are you going to pay for those, I said yes, I put them on the counter when I check out since I need my hands to walk I relied, I continue over to get a frosty freeze when what he was trying to say did not sit well with me. I put everything I had on the counter and walked out. Shame on you Maverick, it's had enough with disabilities but to have someone degrade you while you are shopping is wrong. I ask that my disabled friends NOT shop at Maverick until they get their employees under control.

Every customer coming in seems to have a positive exchange with him and I think that's because he cares to remember his customers and enjoys some communication. I know of another couple unnamed mavericks that have employees that don't engage at all and are as robotic as the machines they operate. If you're in the area late at night, swing by and get a laugh!
