I was blocked in for 20 minutes a few days ago By Truckers that pulled in fueled up then went inside ordered their lunch hung out and chew the fat with the employees that do not care to ask the drivers to please move their vehicles from the pumps so other vehicles can get fuel or be able to leave. And don't dare say anything to them about it because you will get an attitude back and the drivers think because they have to keep a log and are under DOT restrictions that it's okay to act this way. I drive past this station every day and rarely stop because there's no way to get in the parking lot. The food is mediocre you get a better quality of food at 7:11 Going 8 Miles up the road to Taneytown or down to Woodsboro is a better bet then dealing with this station. Believe me they could care less about you they have their regulars and that's all they care about.

Maybe I just caught him on an off night or maybe he's always a grump, I'm not so sure but when I try to be personable especially as a pregnant woman and ask you how you are, you could at least smile and say hi! However, I'll take the old grumpy guy over the young guys who have hit on me more than once and made me feel like a piece of meat.

I don't mean clean by 7-eleven standards I mean like ACTUALLY clean. The guys who work here are very nice and friendly, something I have literally NEVER seen at a 7-eleven in as long as I can remember. I go in pretty regularly after work and they remember me and ask how my day was. They I will gladly spend a few extra bucks on some food items here than go across the street to the CVS where the staff actively hates you. Customer service and an exceptionally neat store make all the difference!

The parking lot at this 7-Eleven was fairly small, but I parked in downtown Gettysburg, so parking was not a problem for me. The options at this 7-Eleven were fairly limited compared to some options you might see at the local Sheetz. For example, there was no sparking water and the closest option was club soda. I also got a bottle of water. Similarly, there were not a ton of snack options. There were some nuts, crackers and candy, but nothing too unique or interesting. The options were limited. Obviously, unlike Sheetz there are no custom made options. I just picked up a pop-tart because that was a tasty option that they had here and I haven't had one in a couple of years. Altogether, this 7-Eleven is pretty basic in their options, but it's convenient if you're visiting Gettysburg National Military Park and one to get a quick drink or snack.

And saw the "under" orientation of the toilet paper, which violates the original patent for toilet paper holders from 1891, where the paper clearly goes over the top. The "over" configuration: * prevents the roll from brushing the wall * makes it easier to grab with one hand * reduces accidental unrolling * and, most importantly, does not make decent people feel like they're living in a lawless society. What you have here is bathroom anarchy. I must admit that tile and brushed metal fixtures actually look really nice, which somehow makes the backward roll even more upsetting. It's like a beautifully plated meal served on the floor. Moreover, the ceiling contains approximately 400 judgmental eyes observing you while you attempt to live your life. The wallpaper on the ceiling (on the ceiling!!!) has a pattern based on the "evil eye" motif (sometimes called nazar), which shows up in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern design. Traditionally it's supposed to ward off bad luck or jealousy. All it does in this case is confirm the establishment has abandoned reason and at least one of the people who work has met a psychedelic mushroom.
