Called Tri County door and they agreed to come out for a $65 service fee. While I wasn't too happy about such a steep fee to get someone out here to tell me what I already knew (hey your garage door is broken and it needs a cable), I couldn't really argue. They came as scheduled and Rickie had our door fixed in about an hour. Here's what I was really happy about - he found the cable wasn't broken but just needed to be put back on the pulley. So no parts charges and his integrity was definitely a cost savings to us! Kudos to these guys. The honesty of their tech saved us money in the end and that is definitely worth more than anything else to us!

She was at the sight almost every day. Her crew was very polite and very nice. (even the younger ones) The roof was completed in 2 days! They did a wonderful job, and the house looks great. The porch took a week to complete, the men were very courteous and friendly, again. They did a wonderful job. That porch roof will last quite a long time. It is very sturdy. I can once again sit outside and relax with a book and a cup of tea. I am considering using Chris again for some inside work I need done. The price was fair and didn't change. I would highly recommend Chris for any of your contracting needs.

They put nails where they should be and caulked flashing for the other leak. This year leaked in both places again. I was told it's not under warranty! hasn't been 10 years yet. Please excuse the lengthy review, but I have to give a huge thanks to Whalen Exteriors and I feel…read morecompelled to tell the whole story so you can get a good sense of why you should work with this company. I called several contractors needing my roof replaced on short notice due to a series of bad roof leaks on an very old flat roof system and was in a rush to get the project started with the Spring rain well on its way. Shawn Whalen himself CAME TO MY HOME THE VERY NEXT MORNING after we spoke on the phone to evaluate my roof. While I had to chase other contractors down for their bids, he sent me his bid in a timely manner. Not only that, HIS BID WAS COMPETITIVE with the other 2 estimates I obtained and more importantly, HE AGREED TO PUSH BACK OTHER JOBS to accommodate our roof project... it was an emergency since our roof was actively leaking! We had to wait a week or so for the weather to warm up to start the project due to the manufacturers recommendation. Shawn really listened, because he knew my wife and I were very worried about the leaks and we had bad weather coming. So two days later he came out with one of his guys and patched our roof. That day after the patch job, we had a big rainstorm and were able to sleep through the night. It was the first time we hadn't worried about our home getting additional water damage in several weeks. We were really nervous leading up to the project because firstly, it's such a big financial commitment, and second, we didn't want to have to deal with any roof issues going forward for a really long time. The days leading up to the install, I was frequently texting Shawn with questions as well as requests for colors and materials I preferred for the re-roof. HE WAS ALWAYS QUICK TO GET BACK TO ME with answers and to confirm the changes to my order and NEVER GAVE THE IMPRESSION I WAS BOTHERING HIM. When the project got delayed a couple days due to the weather, Chuck from his office kept me updated. Big shoutout to Chuck! His project manager got sick the first day of the install so Shawn showed up to make sure everything got started without any problems. HIS CREW WAS WELL STAFFED, EFFICIENT, AND FINISHED THE JOB IN 2 DAYS. They came back on the 3rd day to do a quality check without me asking. For anyone who has coordinated renovation work on their home in any capacity, you know how rare it is to have a truly professional experience with a contractor. We are thrilled with the job Whalen Exteriors did!

I do have one and a replacement for the first one..since it cracked on the 2nd day. Window #3 never opened and #4 doesn't open. We canceled the other windows we wanted replaced by Whalen
