This is my go to gas station. It's always clean, has the best snacks, and the nicest staff working the register. They also have a car wash with the best staff that is ready to clean your car. They wipe it dry. Gas tends to be average priced. What's annoying is that teslas for some reason park at a pump and block it. But love this station. read more

I visited your 76 gas station today, June 17th, 2025, at approximately 12:15 PM. I had planned to purchase items and use the restroom. However, upon entering the store, I found that both the men's and women's restrooms were locked. I asked the on-duty attendant, who later identified himself as Gabriel, about using the restroom. He told me to go behind the store--an area that is unfamiliar, unmarked, and felt unsafe to access, especially for someone like me: a 61-year-old woman with mobility issues and a bad hip. I had no clear directions or signage, and I was unable to locate any public restroom. Desperate, I drove nearly a mile away to the Chevron at Oso Parkway and the freeway, but I didn't make it in time--and I was humiliated to have wet my pants trying to find a basic facility your business is legally required to provide. After speaking with the kind attendant at the Chevron station, I returned to your 76 station to request the contact number for management. Gabriel again refused to provide it. He claimed the restrooms had been "destroyed" and that he had just cleaned them. Yet, both were locked during my first visit, and I saw no indication that cleaning was underway. His attitude was dismissive and defensive, and he insisted there was no number or manager to contact. When I continued to calmly request a way to contact someone about this serious issue, Gabriel threatened to call the Sheriff's Department on me. I made it clear that I was simply seeking accountability and the ability to file a formal complaint. That's when he abruptly hung up the phone after appearing to dial someone. It was both bizarre and upsetting. Thankfully, a professional and courteous security guard from California Coastal Patrol happened to be present and assisted me in looking for the rear restroom Gabriel had mentioned. It was not visible, marked, or safely accessible. This made it clear to me that your station is likely in violation of California restroom access laws, specifically the requirement under California Vehicle Code Section 253.5, which states that any gas station within 600 feet of a freeway offramp (which yours is) must provide accessible and working restrooms for customers of all genders. This entire experience was deeply frustrating, embarrassing, and, frankly, unacceptable. I am requesting that this message be forwarded to station management and/or the operating company that owns this 76 franchise. At the very least, I am owed an apology and a proper explanation for why restrooms were not available and why staff treated me with such disregard and hostility when I asked for help. Please ensure your facilities comply with the law and that your employees are trained to respond to customers with basic decency, especially those in distress or with accessibility needs. Used pump number 6. Not only was it painfully slow it also didn't click off automatically and over filled my new truck. I have not had any problems refueling my vehicle at any other station I have used all over California. Went inside and told the workers of the issue. He stated they have been having issues with the pump all day. Why on earth would you still allow people to use a malfunctioning pump and potentially cause damage to the evaporative emissions system on their vehicles. No cones or signs were posted alerting customers to the potential issue. Extremely negligent if you ask me. I plan on never using this station again. What can I say???? This is one of the nicer gas stations around. Besides Costco, the gas prices are probably the best in the area, and the customer service can be a hit or miss, but I'll keep coming back. The store is clean, and the snacks selection is above par. There's a full service car wash on the property, and I've used them a few times. I haven't had any problems or issues with them. Gas pumps are always in working order. Since when do you close your restrooms. I drive from Hermosa to San Diego almost every weekend. I would stop at your location because it's halfway, gas, car wash, good selection of items to purchase, clean and good customer service!!! Or so I thought!!! took my white van for a costly wash. some of the white paint still had grime on the front side i only noticed after i left. and, the back carpeted cargo area had leaves in it. avoid one of the workers described here. he is lazy as hell. he is a short stock guy with no neck. he goes through the motions of vaccuming the rear compartment, then closes the door. it was there that i found unvaccumed leaves when i got home. in fairness, i've been to this carwash many times and have been happy with their work. check your car thoroughly if the "no neck" guy works on it. read more

Do NOT play the lottery in anyway shape or form here. Twice now we have tried to redeem our scratchers at this location and have been screwed both times. First time they said their "system was down" so we took it to a different location only to find out it was magically redeemed already. Second time we were supposed to receive $40 back and all we were offered was a free ticket. Either faulty systems or shady employees but either way steer clear. read more

Late June I took my van in for a car wash. I paid for just the basic service and was very pleased with how clean it was when they were done. Today when I took it was a big disappointment. I asked for the basic and the guy looks in my van and tells me that their vacuums are not that strong, so the dog hair may not come all out. I told him that nobody told me this on my last visit and the van was spotless. I went into pay and asked the cashier. He tells me that if I paid for detailing or tip the guys that vacuum, I'd get better results. So I either have to shell out more $$ or bribe someone to do their job? Really? I get my van tip the guy that gave it to me it looks decent enough at a quick glance and I drive off because people are waiting. At my next stop I noticed that they barely cleaned half my dash and completely missed a spot while vacuuming. I wish I had thought of taking pictures before I wiped the area by the gear shift off. I'm displeased and mad that people can't do their jobs properly. I'm going to look elsewhere to get my van washed. This is a splurge for me and I'm not wasting my money there again. read more

This is by far the most BOUJEE BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS gas station I've ever been to. I was on my way home from LA back to San Diego and happen to stop by for a quick bathroom break and was beyond words expectations exceeded. I can't believe how absolutely gorgeous everything looked and the fact that it's just a gas station like wow, 10/10 I'll be back my next trip to LA or anywhere north again because this gas station looked like it was built from the Renaissance era I felt like I was walking into a lobby of a Las Vegas Casino/Hotel on some Caesar's Palace type shiiii it was fabulous. I've been going to this location for years and have never been disappointed until last night. They just hired the grumpiest man to work at night. I asked him how he was doing -no answer. He spent the entire checkout process with a furrowed brow and a nasty look. I guess he was stressed out, but plenty of other employees are perfectly friendly, even delightful to do business with. Just so you know who this is, it's an older African American gentleman that works at night. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS RACE OR HIS AGE. I'm against discrimination in all forms. The station is close for me to use, however, today after I put in my credit card and started pumping gas, I noticed that the red security tape was broken covering the pump cover. After I finished, I went to the cashier and mentioned the broken security tape on Pump 13 and he mentioned that his helper had replaced the printer tape. That seemed a bit strange to me, so will monitor my credit card statements in case I was skimmed with an internal credit card skimmer. The other pumps did not have broken red security tape, just my luck to chose the wrong one. Pay attention, folks. read more

Talk about a fancy fill up station !! I was on my back from San Diego when I decided that I was hungry so I got off the 5 and pulled into the next door McDonald's . After receiving my food I figured I had to release some fluid so I stepped into this station to do so . Walk in and classical music is playing and the attendant has a fancy suit on . Immediately impressed by the whole decor and selection . Everything was nice , clean and well stocked . The customer service was also really good and he was very nice . Decent prices compared to other locations around. The only problem with this gas station is if you are coming down La Paz you need to make a right on cabot, go past the gas station, turn left into the first area possible and then drive by mcdonalds and finally you get to the gas station. Or you can do what some idiots do which is cross the double yellow lines and hope a cop is not around to give you a ticket. Beautiful faculty, crummy service. They also kept trying to up-sell me into detailing my brand new car and all I wanted was a basic car wash. This used to be my spot to get 93 octane , but they don't carry it anymore. It's got a nice car wash built into it. and a mini-market inside. Like I said I used to fuel up here a lot but not so much anymore. It's a little bit of a pain to get in / out of and the last 2 times the credit card slot didn't work at the pump and I had to go inside. So it's just average for me. read more

I wanted the black Hard plastic to be fixed as it was weathered and that's why I spent the $90.00 on wife's van and it looked the same as before. Take it from me - a local. i live about 1/2 mile from this station so it is convenient for me to use, however the service is severely lacking. About 50% of the time the paper is empty for getting credit card receipts at the pump. I really don't like going inside and waiting behind people buying lotto tickets for my receipt. Today - something was wrong with the pump or filter and it took literally 15 minutes to fill my car because the gas was flowing so slowly. I tried to call their number listed as 949-770-8300 and nobody answers. For these reasons I am going elsewhere for one month. Hopefully the owner(s) read this and respond - then I will be back.
