    Used pump number 6. Not only was it painfully slow it also didn't click off automatically and over filled my new truck. I have not had any problems refueling my vehicle at any other station I have used all over California. Went inside and told the workers of the issue. He stated they have been having issues with the pump all day. Why on earth would you still allow people to use a malfunctioning pump and potentially cause damage to the evaporative emissions system on their vehicles. No cones or signs were posted alerting customers to the potential issue. Extremely negligent if you ask me. I plan on never using this station again. Which is a shame because I love the car wash here.

    Late June I took my van in for a car wash. I paid for just the basic service and was very pleased with how clean it was when they were done. Today when I took it was a big disappointment. I asked for the basic and the guy looks in my van and tells me that their vacuums are not that strong, so the dog hair may not come all out. I told him that nobody told me this on my last visit and the van was spotless. I went into pay and asked the cashier. He tells me that if I paid for detailing or tip the guys that vacuum, I'd get better results. So I either have to shell out more $$ or bribe someone to do their job? Really? I get my van tip the guy that gave it to me it looks decent enough at a quick glance and I drive off because people are waiting. At my next stop I noticed that they barely cleaned half my dash and completely missed a spot while vacuuming. I wish I had thought of taking pictures before I wiped the area by the gear shift off. I'm displeased and mad that people can't do their jobs properly. I'm going to look elsewhere to get my van washed. This is a splurge for me and I'm not wasting my money there again.

    broken security red tape found on pump today

    The station is close for me to use, however, today after I put in my credit card and started pumping gas, I noticed that the red security tape was broken covering the pump cover. After I finished, I went to the cashier and mentioned the broken security tape on Pump 13 and he mentioned that his helper had replaced the printer tape. That seemed a bit strange to me, so will monitor my credit card statements in case I was skimmed with an internal credit card skimmer. The other pumps did not have broken red security tape, just my luck to chose the wrong one. Pay attention, folks.

I am happy to talk about the experience my family has had with Gregg's. My wife took her car in for an oil change using a Groupon. Upon completing the oil change, Gregg's guys performed an inspection finding various issues that needed to be addressed providing my wife with a very reasonable printed estimate. You would figure this is when the pressure to get the services completed would start, but it didn't. They said thank you for your business and sent her on her way. Fast forward a couple of weeks, my wife called and made an appointment for the repairs. They got her car in quickly and made the repairs without haggling or trying to upsell additional or unnecessary services. Gregg and his guys were professional, honest, and quick. We will be back and will recommend Gregg's Mobil to anyone in need of a recommendation for an auto mechanic. Also, as a former Marine, I appreciate the Marine Corps flag being flown out front!

    We took our car to Gregg's Mobil in Mission Viejo on July 18 for a routine oil change. We drove in…read morewith a perfectly working vehicle, picked it up an hour later, and immediately noticed a strong oil smell. Minutes after leaving, the car became undriveable and stalled -- steering failed, oil was pouring out, and the drive belt was damaged. Tried calling Gregg's repeatedly -- no answer. Employees had left early, even though the shop was still "open" according to their posted hours. No after-hours contact, no help. We had to scramble to find another mechanic and a tow truck. Turns out, the work Gregg's did led to nearly $600 worth of damage: leaking oil all over the engine and breaking the drive belt. We paid out of pocket to fix these issues. When we went back Monday, Jeff the manager was rude, dismissive, and blamed us for not towing our car back to them (which we tried to do). After pressure, they agreed to reimburse the cost of repairs (the least they could do because they were at fault for them) -- but refused to refund the oil change that caused the damage in the first place. So basically, I had the privilege of paying $200 for an oil change that caused $600 worth of damage. Both Gregg and Jeff admitted fault, but still refused full accountability. The experience was frustrating, stressful, and could've been dangerous. Thankfully we live nearby, but if our car had stalled in an intersection or the freeway, this could have been catastrophic. Worst of all, Jeff and Gregg were condescending and extremely apathetic to the situation. Avoid this place unless you want poor workmanship and worse customer service.
