Charged $500 for a $300 range with free delivery from the manufacturer. Not sure if the range or installation is faulty but two of the five burners have no temp control and burn at highest temp. They also did not measure the underside of the range and the range they ordered was too small for the receptacle, they fabricated a fitted retainer of extremely low quality with sharp edges and gaps. Forget that it took them over a month from when contacted to arrive and then and additional two days to install. We contacted 7M four times within that month and only returned a call when at the door for installation. During the two days it took for installation they decided to leave all their tools in our kitchen and left exposed live wires in the work area. $800 for the installation, for a grand total of $1,407 after tax and a disclaimer on the bill that states: "Any expenses of andy unforeseen issues found after the initial repair or installation of the original quote will be added as additional work upon the customers approval." Terrible experience. I setup an appointment with this company for a Monday at 9AM. At 9:30 I get a call from the technician saying he forgot to put gas in his car and has to turn around before heading to Marfa. He arrives by 10AM and the first thing he does when he opens up my central air unit is let out a big sigh and shake his head. Seriously? This is an old house and the AC isnt working, this can't be the first time you've seen some interesting wiring. The process continued for about 2 hours and the technician wrapped it up by letting me know we'd need a whole new system which wasn't a surprise. He said he'd be able to get me a quote in a week. He flipped a switch on my breaker box to keep electric from running to the hairy wiring and that was about it. I wrote him a check for $90 and appreciated him coming out. Two weeks go by and I still hadn't received a call. I gave them a call to see if the quote would be coming soon and the desk lady said that they would have to send someone else out in order to give me a quote. I told her the guy that already came said he was going to assemble a quote and that never happened. Why did I pay him if someone else was going to have to come as well?? She apologized and said a quote would come in the next week. Now its 5 weeks later and I just called back again to find out where the quote is. At this point Im not really trusting this company to be the ones that receive my business. The desk lady again tells me they havent assembled the quote and that they "are busy". Great for them but I feel scammed out of $90. The technician literally flipped a switch on the breaker box and that was it. Avoid this company unless if you are on a very slow timeline. If bait and switch is your style, these are your guys. We were told it would be a $99 trip charge and that they would arrive at 9:00. At 11:00 the technician still wasn't here and when we finally got a hold of him he said the trip charge would now be $279 instead of $99. That was before any work is done.
