They had a wonderful selection of Motawi Tiles and I found one that depicted an oak on a golden hill. It looked like a perfect California scene (and it turned out, it is indeed part of a California-themed series of tiles). I also considered some necklaces that were done in life-like leaves. The shopkeeper was so pleasant. We had a great conversation. I really appreciated that I was able to get the "local's discount" since my mother-in-law is the local who brought me by. I'm not sure when I'll be able to return to Arkansas and Eureka Springs, but when I do, this place is a must for a return visit!

I remember hearing stories of talented artist hailing this place but anymore it seems, save the transient tenant artist, there are a limited number of "artists" there but rather closed up shops and over cluttered courtyards. I have visited here twice and purched paintings and glasswork. The prices are reasonable because you deal directly with the creator. This is the real deal, people living their passion.
